CHAPTER 4

Jalal was driving his car very rashly as if he didn't want to live anymore; his life as come to an end. The incident which occurred in morning was running in his mind like a film again and again and again. He wanted to bury himself inside the ground. He reached his office in 15 minutes where else it always takes 45 minutes from his house. He got down at the entrance of the office and threw the keys to the watchman present; he didn't even bother to say him to park the car. He rushed towards the elevator. While going, he saw his employees were looking at him with a terrified expression. They were scared to see their boss like this (more than scared shock would be a preferred word).

He entered the elevator and pressed the last floor of the building i.e 20^th floor. The lift opened at a huge, elegant and beautiful office. It directly opened her as it is Jalal's personal cabin. It showed its status that how rich would be the owner of this vast business empire. Yes, Jalal was king of business and his business chains are called as "Mohammad Empire". It took him 7 years of hard work to build this vast empire without a single help. Only some people were with him, but whatever today he has is only because of his hard work and determination. But this was not just determination but also something else.

He came in and sat on his chair and twirled with it. Tears were coming out of his eyes which passed through cheeks and then gone. He wanted to cry as loud as possible. He wanted to just erase the morning incident. He then stopped and took out his valet from his pant pocket and opened it and saw something which brought some smile to his face. He cares it and kept it near his heart and closed his eyes. He himself didn't know for how many minutes he was in that position till someone tapped his shoulders. He opened his eyes, turned and saw the person which gave him some relief in his heart. He said in surprised tone.

JALAL: - ABDUL, When did you come????? I am sorry I... (He interrupted him)

ABDUL: - When you were thinking about your PARI, you're JODHA. (Those two words brought tears in his eyes. Without wasting a second his hugged Abdul and cried very loudly. Abdul was shocked. He has never seen his friend like this anytime. He also hugged him tightly and asked) what happened Jalal????? Did something happen today????? (But he was just crying. He didn't answer him) Jalal you are scaring me. Please tell me what happened????? (Jalal broke the hug and looked at him. His eyes were complete red due to crying. Now Abdul got literally scared. He bent down and asked him again. He narrated him everything. Abdul was angry on him and others also he asked him.) If you are not able to hurt her then why are you doing it?????

JALAL: - Because I LOVE HER.

ABDUL: - In love, you give happiness, not pain.

JALAL: - But in love, you also share your love's pain.

Abdul could not ask anything more except this one word.

ABDUL: - WHY??????

JALAL: - You remember Abdul, once I had told you about my separation from Jodha when I was 5 and she was 4. (Abdul nodded his head)

FLASHBACK

Jalal is 5 and Jodha is 4. It was the worst day of Jodha's life as she had lost two important people of her life, one her mother and second Jalal. She was crying in her room. Suddenly she felt his hands on her shoulder. She knew it, it was him and it can be only him. She immediately turned towards him and asked.

JODHA: - Jalal, don't leave me and go naa please?????

JALAL: - Baby, don't cry please. Then how will I go to London???? You know naa that I can't see you in tears then?????

JODHA: - First Maa left me and now you are also going far away from me naa?????

JALAL: - No baby, I am always with you. Just call me and I will come to you ok.

She nodded her head very cutely. Jalal could not resist this and kissed her cheeks to which felt very shy. Then they both hugged each other for last time. After about 10 minutes, Hamidha called Jalal and they broke the hug. Jodha again had tears in her eyes. He wiped it and indicated her not to cry and got down from the bed and went away. But before going he turned towards her and said.

JALAL: - Bye PARI

JODHA: - Bye RAJKUMAR

And he went from there.

PRESENT

JALAL: - From that day, I promised myself that I will come back and get her in my life. First we used to talk on phone, but after somedays that also stopped. Then I had no contacts with her, but she was always there in my heart. Then after 8 years Ammi and Abbu also died. I was concentrating on Abbu's business, but still I remembered my Pari. Then when I was 16, I came back to India with Badi Ammi and Adham. I went to her old house but they had shifted from there. Then I started setting up my business here but still I was searching for her.

Abdul was so lost in the story. He never knew that Jalal, his friend since age of 5 can love someone so much. Now he was connecting the events that why he never had any girlfriend or any girl as his friend. He had many friends but all were male. He never used to talk to them casually or even hi hello to a girl would be a hot topic in the college. Abdul with curiosity

ABDUL: - THEN.

JALAL: - Then my business became strong here and I was busy in my work. Once I had sponsored a beauty pageant in Mumbai where I had gone to see whether my money is used or not. I checked all places even the green rooms. When I was about to come out of the green room, I saw something which haunted me.

ABDUL: - WHAT??????

JALAL: - I saw a valet was open and there was a photo in it. I didn't know the lady and kid but I knew the man. It was Bharmal, Jodha's dad. I took that and was shocked to see him with another lady and child. I had lots of questions in my mind but no answers.

ABDUL: - Then... (He was interrupted by a call in the land phone. Jalal picked the call and asked)

JALAL: - Yes, Yaa sure Tina. I will be there for the meeting. (Tina is his secretary) (Then turning towards Abdul.) We have a meeting Abdul. Come let's go.

ABDUL: - Then what about the story.

JALAL: - I will continue afterwards. But I still need to know somethings about Jodha. In this 16 years, some things have happened which were not good for Jodha. I have to know what it is.
