I have ENJOYED READING THE ANALYSIS part as much as the show if not more. That I never watched soaps before and how I got sucked into catching up with al the old episodes is by itself a tribute to the talent and chemistry of the leads. When my ineterest was waning i I was directed to the forum and wow..i discovered a Treasure Trove while getting my daily 45 minute aerobic workout.

Was there ever a morale booster as effective as you are? No, I don't think so.

This time, I had excellent material and a lot of it, so I kept my current commentary to a minimum. And then these old episodes are so fabulous that I am really glad I wrote all these posts when they were all still fresh in my mind.

And yes, when one revisits these episodes and posts, one is struck afresh by the tragedy of what JA could have been and what it has become. It is good that they are shutting up shop.

I agree with you about Rajat's prospects, but Jodha Akbar has got him a lot of acclaim and recognition, and I am hoping that he get a good break in films.

I have skipped watching episodes when the plot was getting unbearable but kept returning to the forum to read one thing or the other.

All these epis I saw in September as I took them in from various sites - and my oh my😳 Rajat totally sucked me in with his Jalal - I have been a fan since then and its his Jalal who has managed to keep me plodding thru till date - though I no longer take in all epis, I do watch Rajat's Jalal online fast forwarding all the other crap 😛

And yes I did have a leaning for Jodha in the initial days (a hangover of my own feminist mindset and AG's JA) but EK cured me of it very very fast even as Rajat's Jalal made me do the volte face on my initial take😉😆

No thread at all, Pallavi. I used to do weekly posts for Mahakumbh, and had a nice circle of readers there, but I stopped when I had to go in for a total knee replacement a little over a month ago. I am now in the physiotherapy phase, which is going to last at least 3 months, and is painful. Well, it has to be endured, and writing these posts helps me keep my mind off my knee for while.
