CHAPTER 1
In Agra, Someone was very happy after many days. She was feeling as if God has given her feathers to fly. After that dark night in her life, this was for the first time that she had a smile on her face she was at top of the world but before this she felt that she had nothing in her life to live. She had almost lost her love due to the past incident occurred in her life. But today she was back with her spirit. Suddenly she heard the announcement.
GUARD:- HOSHIYAAR, THE SHAHENSHAH OF HINDUSTAN JALLALUDIN MOHOMMAD AKBAR HAS ARRIVED.
As she heard the announcement, she blushed and was feeling happy because after many she was going see actual happiness on his face. She had sent Mothi to call him as she wanted to say this 1st to him. He entered and saw his Begum was looking very different. She was glowing today like a newly wedded bride. He went near her and asked in calm voice.
JALAL:- JODHA!! Are you fine????? Mothi told me that you wanted to meet me. Is anything important??????
She went near him, all the while smiling. Jalal was very confused with her behavior. He thought that something has happened to her. He said in worried tone.
JALAL:- Jodha Begum, I will call the hakim. I feel you are not well. (And he was about to go and call the hakim when Jodha caught his hand softly and said)
JODHA:- Shahenshah I want to say something. (She was feeling too shy to look into his eyes and say. So she hugged him and buried her face in his manly chest. Jalal was shocked (but in a happy way) because after many days he had seen his love feeling shy to look into his eyes. He was terribly missing his lioness. He hugged her back softly and asked)
JALAL:- What happened meri jaan, are you ok???????? (With lot off difficulty, Jodha lifted her face and looked into his eyes and said)
JODHA:- Shahenshah, Today I had called Hakima Shaheba because from last many 2 days I was not feeling good... (Before completing the sentence Jalal worriedly asked)
JALAL:- WHAT!!!! And you are saying me now. Where is she I m... ( Jodha interrupted him by keeping her finger on his lips and said)
JODHA:- Ssshhh!!!!!! First listen to me. I had called her today to do my check-up and... (Jalal had almost pale face and asked)
JALAL:- AND...
JODHA :- And she... said.. that...
JALAL:- And what did she say???? Jodha stop giving me tension and say what did she say.
JODHA (with tears in her eyes):- She said that I M PREGENT.
That was enough for Jalal to make him go under a shock. He got numb for some minutes. He felt that he is seeing and dream. He was not able to believe that what he was hearing was truth. Jodha understood that he was under a shock. So to bring him back, she softly patted on his cheeks. As soon as Jalal felt her hand on his face, he came back to his senses. He saw Jodha had tears in her eyes. He immediately rubbed them and softly cupped her face and asked.
JALAL:- Jodha is it true?????? Are you serious with me???? I m going to be a father AGAIN
Yes, they both are experiencing this feeling again after 5 Years of their Twins death. Both had lost their kids due to Mirza Kaasim and his wife Zeenath. After that incident Jalal had turned into a demon again. He started to rule the way he used to rule before Jodha entered his life. Then the Battle of Chittor happened where he killed several innocent people and won the war. But still he was not happy. Then before going back to Agra, Sheikh Salim Chisti requested him to meet him and he obeyed his request. He explained him about his deeds and misdeeds. Jalal felt guilty for his deeds and took an oath to resolve all his mistakes. From that day Jalal was just living like an live statue. He used to work had for his people day and night. He never meat anybody except Jodha because he felt some peace in her company. One night when Jodha went to is room, she saw him crying very badly. She was shocked and worried to see him like this. So without wasting any time she ran towards him and took him in her arms. He felt her skin touching his rough skin which was soothing his pain. He immediately hugged her and cried out loud and said.
JALAL:- WHY JODHA WHY??????? WHY ALL WAYS I M PUNISHED BY HIM (GOD)????? AND IF HE WANTED TO PUNISH ME THEN WHY DID HE TAKE OUR CHILDREN FROM US????? WHAT HAD THOSE INNOCENT SOULS DONE TO HIM THAT THEY GOT SUCH A CRUEL PUNISHMENT??????? TELL ME.
JODHA:- Shahenshah whatever happened was in faith. I think they were only for some time with us. So they went early to him, but why are you punishing yourself for this. You are not the only one to lose them. Imagine my state, I carried them for 9 months in my womb and bought them into this world. But when they died, I also lost someone else. (Jalal saw her in confused state) Do you want to know, whom I lost???? (Jalal indicated in "YES") YOU!!!!! I LOST YOU WITH THEM. WHEN I WANTED YOU THE MOST AND YOU WANTED ME THE MOST YOU SEPARATED ME FROM YOU AND AGAIN YOU BECAME AND DEMON LIKE BEFORE. (And cried profoundly by hugging him more tightly. Jalal hugged her even more tightly as he knew what she said was right. He had separated her from him. More than him she was suffering but she kept herself strong because she had to take care of the family, country and specially him. He understood that what he had done was not right. He rubbed his tears, took her face lovingly in his hands and said)
JALAL:- I m very sorry meri jaan. I know what I have done with you was not right but now I promise you that I will not back off from my duties and responsibility. I will be a good and responsible and loving husband I promise. (Suddenly he saw tears flowing from her eyes. He went near her face and kissed those tears and shook his head in "NO" indicating her not to cry. Jodha could not control herself and hugged him tightly. He also reciprocated back by hugging her. That night again these love birds became one in all senses. And then every day and night they used to spent together in each other's arms.)
Now back to the present, they both were sitting on the bed in each other's arms. Both were very happy and content today. Suddenly Jalal spoke.
JALAL:- Jodha I m so happy today. Thank you dear for this news. I had lost hopes of having a child again but you proved me wrong. THANK YOU!!!
JODHA:- Shahenshah we have to inform about this to everyone. But before that can I ask you something?????
JALAL:- Today if you even ask my life I will give it to you... (Before completing the sentence, she kept her finger on his lips)
JODHA:- We should call Salim Chisti here and say him this news first as it was him who told that we will get a child after that incident.
JALAL:- You are right MALLIKA-E-HIND. (She blushed on that statement as he had addressed her first time by this name. Jalal was about to leave, when he turned and said Jodha) Both of you take care, I will be in a while (And he went to call Salim Chisti to joined him and his Begum for such an auspicious moment)
