Chapter 18

Jalal went near them...gave an angry look to Surya...looked at Jodha...Hugged her tightly...

Jalal : how are u my sweet heart...i missed u so much...was eagerly waiting for this day to come..

Jodha : i am fine...atleast after seeing u...

Jalal loosened the hug and saw Surya's face which became pale...Jalal side hugged Jodha and kissed her forehead...she was shocked with Jalal's behaviour...not that she didn't like what he did but he never did this before...with this shock she looked up and...he kissed her on her cheek...she was dumbstruck...Surya left the place saying a hi and congratulating him for the success...As soon as Surya left Jalal looked at Jodha's face which has turned red...he broke the hug...

Jodha : (still in shock) now what was that?

Jalal : what?

Jodha : what did u just do now?

Jalal : what did i do Jodha ? come lets go to our room

In the hotel room...

Jodha : now answer me?

Jalal : what?

Jodha : stop playing around Jalal...i know what u did was not out of love but...

Jalal : fine...fine...i didn't like the way he was trying to get close to u...thats my... right...u know...being ur best friend and...and ...husband and i cant allow any outsider to hug u..or get this close to u...i am possessive about my friends and...well why am i giving u any justification...u r my wife and i have the right to hug u and...(in his mind----yaar i missed u so much) how r u? Did he disturb u?

Jodha : well if this was out of love i would have definitely been happy...no...we barely had any conversation as i have told u before...and i tried ignoring him but unlike u, he is a chipku what can i do?still ur way of showing affection bowled him...now tell me how r u...hows everbody at home and why this surprise...

Jalal: before that why u look red? Are u blushing?

Jodha : hmm...n..no

Jalal: yes u r..look at youself ..god u r blushing..i just cant believe it..so u do blush..apart from giving those annoyed expression..at times change it to something like this u look much much better..

Jodha: Hahaha..(sarcastically) very funny...stop taunting me..and answer me..now..

Jalal : well to be honest i...i...i missed my friend...

Jodha : (playfully) which friend?

Jalal : my best friend...

Jodha : (smiles but then notices that he was looking at her so becomes serious ) who? Bhaijaan?

Jalal : no not Abdul...a very recent friend

Jodha : oh Vikas Jiju...but...

Jalal : a girl friend...

Jodha : Jalal u have a girlfriend...why didn't u tell me ...and how did u find her within a span of 1 week or to be precise 8 days...i mean including today...

Jalal : thats enough Jodha...i know u aren't that stupid...u know about whom i am talking...(about to leave the room)

Jodha : (seriously) Exactly Jalal...i am not stupid...thats why i am asking u again and again...anyway...i liked the gesture...hope u ll be able to speak much more than this...some or the other day...i like u too

Jalal : (to himself-how does she read my mind or else did i give her a hint on what i feel about her)

Jodha noticed that he was thinking something...and she knew what he was thinking so answered his query... ...Jodha : ur eyes speak a lot...especially to me... Jalal i...

Knock on the door...

Jalal : yeah come in...

Surya : sir...the documents...

Jalal : oh thank u Mr Suryabhan...and i am happy that u were able to get this deal...for me..

Surya : no sir actually its becoz of Jodha and her business tactics that

Jalal : (cuts in between) Mrs Khan.. u can address her as Mrs khan...

Surya :Oh yeah sir...ok then sir i ll take ur leave...

Surya leaves the room...

Jodha : jealous...hmm...i like it..

Jalal : what?

Jodha : nothing...

Jalal : achcha did dad inform u about the interview...

Jodha: what interview?

Jalal : dad told me that ur channel's head of content had asked him for an interview of ours...together...

Jodha : But why? we are not celebrity couple and we don't have anything to talk about other than business...

Jalal : Jodha u might not be knowing this but i was the young business man of the year...2 years back...keep ur general knowledge intact...so i am quiet famous ok...

Jodha : whatever...now answer me...

Jalal : well since me being a famous business man and since its ur father's channel they want an interview and i think they are planning some new talk show on couple who are working together..in the same office...something like that...

Jodha : oh ok got it...few days back Gautam uncle did call me...well its an experiment...so they are planning to interview famous couple who are working together...u know ...to know how compatible it is to work and live with the same person..so they will be interviewing sportstar, moviestar, politicians...but still why we...and it has been just 2 months since we are married ...and will people be interested to know about us...i am sure it is gonna be a flop episode...anyway i ll talk to Gautam uncle...

Jalal : now get ready...

Jodha and Jalal were busy in exploring the city...when Jodha's eyes caught someone very familiar to her...NEIL...Jodha : wasn't that Neil...Ruku' boyfriend...Jalal...(and she turned around but couldn't find him...she looked aroung and saw her husband talking to foreigner lady...)

She noticed that he was blushing and could make it out that they were talking very sweetly to each other...She went and stood near Jalal...Jalal: i still cant believe that u had a crush on me...but its...its too late...i am...

Jodha : hey Jalal..(catch hold of his hand and squeezes it...)(annoyed) what are u doing here..

Jalal saw the expression on Jodha's face and understood whats going on in her mind...Jalal: hey Jodha...meet Jullia...she was my classmate...at Manchesters..

Jodha smiles at her...they shake their hands...

Julia : So this is ur...

Jodha : wife... Julia : oh hi nice to meet u...so how are u? How is life with Jalal?and what do u do?

Jodha : well i am fine...i am a lawyer..currently i am working in Mughal industries...and life with Jalal is wonderful...

Julia: Jalal u married a lawyer and that too who works for ur company? I mean the owner of a company married his employee..but why? I mean...

Jalal: look Julia she belongs to a business family and is equal to my family's status...they own 2 famous restaurants and also have a channel...and we don't employee people just like that she is an asset for my company and for me...ok then bye Julia we r getting late...see u later..

Julia hugged him but he didn't respond..She said bye to Jodha and left from there...They were sitting in the cab

Jodha : now i know from where u get this attitude

Jalal; what ? Jodha : arrye for 5 yrs u were spending ur time with people like Julia thats what u r like this now ekdum khadoos...arrogant...this is called kusangathi ka asar...

Jalal : u r unbelievable Jodha ...i am sorry for what she said she is like that just leave it...

Jodha : u don't have to feel sorry Jalal well it did offend me but then i am least bothered about what people like Julia think about me...achcha i forgot to tell u i saw Neil...
