Jalal : haan maa i did not say that she is quarrelsome..in fact quarrelling and arguing with her is a lot of fun coz mostly she has all points to score high and is mostly logical in what she speaks...(himself-which i like the most in her bt at times she acts dumb at least infront of me..maybe..maybe to irritate me which is enjoyed by both of us equally{wide smile})

After dinner:

Jalal: oh man...this has to happen today only?

Maina : what happened Jalal?

Jalal : nothing maa..my phone is dead..Jodha must have reached..oh man..i dont even have my charger..

Bharmal: i ll get u my charger it should fit in...just wait(Bharmal leaves)

Maina: oh haan..do one thing call using the landline or our mobiles..ok... i am coming..

Jalal dials Jodha's no. But couldn't say even a hello as Jodha was hell irritated..

Jodha: thank god finally someone called me up..someone is bothered abt me..thank u maa for calling..(Jalal puts the phone on speaker ) it has been atleast 3 hours since i set my foot in New York..apart from ammi and abbu nobody called me..no one is even bothered whether i reached safely or nt..and when i tried calling them up..the no u have dialled is switched off(imitating the voice) please call later..

Maina comes..Jalal silently asks her not to inform Jodha that he is there and listening to all this..

Maina: what happened bacha did u reach safely..i was abt to call u..

Jodha(complaining) : ammi and abbu called me..u atleast thought abt it bt there are certain people who don't even care abt it...

Maina: who are u talking abt?Jalal? bt he must have got the info from ur ammi then why should he call u?'

Jodha: maa...bt he should talk to me personally and ask na ki how my trip was, was there any problem,did i reach safely..but he is always lost in his company files and news channels..cant think abt anything or anyone apart from these 2 things..{ Jalal chuckles } he is such a moron..cant he atleast leave a text message..ok leave all these things but what happened to his stupid phone..doesnt work when it is most needed..

Maina: what happened why are u complaining abt him? U have some thing really important to talk to him?

Jodha: its not abt importance bt i am his wife i expected atleast that much of concern from him..attention from him( jalal felt bad, he should have checked his phone before) never bother..i knw he is like a rock who does nt have any feelings..atleast towards me..leave that.u both r fine na..ammi and abbu said that he is nt yet home..maybe busy in his office work..anyway hope u and dad are fine..also maa jalal is for sure gonna call u up today so ask him if he had his lunch and dinner properly and hope he is fine..(jalal smiles)

Maina : why should i ask? U ll be calling him na or he will call u once he is free..

Jodha: no i am nt gonna talk to that akkdu any more..

Maina: u cannot talk to him but want to now how he is doing..now what is that jodha?why being so rude to him?

Jodha : maa i...

Bharmal enters the room..

Bharmal: jalal go beta sleep..its already late na..jodha will call here if she cant get through ur phone...here is my charger...charge ur phone

Jodha shocked

Jodha : maa is he there?

Bharmal: ohh u guys were talking to jodha..finally jalal u can be at peace..hi beta how r u..reached safely..

Jodha : haan dad..i am fine..when did Jalal come?

Bharmal : didn't he say anything to u? He has been here since morning..came here after dropping u at the airport..

Jodha: i want to talk to him..

Bharmal; haan talk na waise bhi the phone is on speaker so he can hear u..

Jodha was about to speak when some one knocked the door and that was suryabhan and another colleague..Jodha : just a second..(talks to them for a minute and jalal came to know the person talking to jodha was surya)..Jalal gets annoyed listening to his voice..

Jodha : (back to phone) hel..hello jalal...

Jalal does nt say anything..he asks maina to say that he went to sleep as he is having important meeting 2morrow..which was a lie..he just wanted to show jodha that he is really annoyed with what she just now spoke abt him..though he enjoyed hearing the tigress roar bt just wanted to fake annoyance..

Jodha felt really bad and thought that he is angry with her and does nt want to talk to her...Jalal's plan was working the way he wanted it to work..

That day Jodha's parents were very happy becoz they got a son in Jalal...and came to know more about him...even Jalal had a special bonding with her family...that was a memorable day for all the three and Jalal's parents were happy thinking that he is trying to bond with his in laws...that night he slept in Jodha's room...her bedroom gave him a feeling that she is there with him...he was fast asleep...

Midnight

Jalal's phone which was put on charge vibrates...after a while he recognises it and looks at the screen and is shocked..12 missed calls from jodha..jalal thought that he should stop the prank now itself coz jodha is restless to talk to him and has taken his ignorance seriously

Jalal dials Jodha no

Jodha: jalal hi i knw u were in deep slumber but i need to talk to u..its urgent..i ..i knw unintentionally i did hurt u but it was just the frustration coz i expected that u would be the first person to call me..and it increased when i couldn't reach u..i am really sorry for what ever i said i hope

Jalal cuts Jodha..: Jo..Jodha listen to me..i am not at all angry..i understood what u were going through its absolutely fine..i was just faking..i am nt annoyed..

Jodha: you..you were faking..do u knw what i was going through till now..how could u be so..

Jalal: listen jodha...lets not fight coz its midnight and i am sleepy..i don't have the power and strength to fight with u..do one thing pile up all ur anger and blast it once u r back ..ok.. happy to knw that u reached safely..hope u ate something..be careful while dealing with surya and all the best for the project..now good night sleep well..take rest..i might sound rude but u r tired and i want u to take rest..ok good night sweet dreams..and..(smiles{remember the dvd and Jodha's performance })

Jodha : and?

Jalal: and nothing bye...

He cuts the phone...

Next day morning..

Jalal had a really good sleep especially after hearing the concern of his wife,talking to her...he was happy with his decision of spending sometime with his in laws as well,got to them and jodha...

1 week passed...the NY company head was happy with the marketing team and was willing to be a part of Mughal Industries' new project...and the way Jodha put forward all the legal points were applauded...Within this 1 week Jodha and the marketing team became good friends..Jodha and Surya did talk but that was limited to professional work only...whenever he approached her she would make some or the other excuse and leave...Day by day Jalal was becoming restless..he wants to meet her..whenever he missed her,he used to watch her dvd and smile..he can feel the changing equation between him and jodha..he is missing fighting with her,discussing with her,arguing,staring and admiring her..in general being with her..he is slowly understanding the value of this relationship which has definitely increased atleast a level higher than what they shared before..it is still friendship but something is changing.

Jodha told him everything that took place...they used to talk for hours about each other's day, what they did,how it went,about ammi and abbu, maa and dad...their cousins...they missed each other a lot...even though none of them admitted it...

New York...

Jodha : i am just a legal advisor...its u guys who worked hard and kudos to the marketing team...its coz of u guys that we were able to get the deal...

Surya : of course we did work hard but...still ur arguments and legal points were worth listening...and along with our marketing strategy it was ur legal knowledge that convinced them that its gonna be profitable deal for them...i must say u r really good with ur business knowledge...tooo

A Pair of eyes was watching them and the person was listening to their conversation as well...

All the marketing team shook their hands with Jodha...as the contract was signed...they congratulated each other..and left...Jodha and Surya shook their hands and Surya side hugged her...she didn't respond...and tried pushing him...but that didn't help her at all...She was getting irritated...

Jodha : (annoyed) Surya just leave...

Man : Hey JO...(sounded loud,angry,full of annoyance...)

Both of them turned around and Surya left Jodha...Jodha was pleasantly surprised to see the person...

Jodha : (happy ) Jalal...
