About the witch, i am not sure. Though, CV's can show anything. I heard, recently a witch type thing was shown in some other show also, and surprisingly audience liked it.

Yes she is thinking from the perspective of mm.But I totally support Jalal's views in this case. And forcing jodha to convert is too much cant believe Hamida will do it. Is that show a historical too where this witch thing was shown? I dont like this type of superstitious tracks, . I hope cvs do not mess things up

That show is not historical. Though, i don't know the name also.
I am also with Jalal's thinking on this issue. CV's have shown him as a FIRM secular sovereign.

i liked the way jalal cares of jodha he straight goes to jodha n warn her dont go out of ur room he assures her he will not leave that person who wanted to kill her then he goes behind bandi n found SD's father n killed him👏

Abhayda can you tell me what was the exact position of Shah e iran in islam? I mean in the show it is shown as if he is the head when it comes to taking decissions related to religion.Like pope is for christian religeon.

Daulat Shad is not mentioned in A.nama. Even J.Nama DOES NOT gives name of mother of Khannum Sultan, it says she was a concubine. There are 2 Khannums. I differentiated between both the "Khannums" on Page-1. CV's have shown one Khannum. But, the Khannum whose talk was happening with the ruler of Badakshan was not the Khannum Sultan, as CV's showed today. Firoz Khannum's mother is mentioned as MUZ in my post, she is NOT shown in the show.

Khannum Sultan's mother name is NOT known to me. But, since she was born only few months after Salim, she is not expected to be the daughter of MUZ. I have mentioned this point as a separate note in Kids post that name of her mother is not known. You can read more there.

Today's episode was really good, I loved the fact that for once the episode actually had matter and they were not just dragging the same thing over and over again. It was fast, it was crisp and it definitely would have kept the audience enthralled.

Today's episode was less romance and more politics and that was actually okay, because its better that they show some good political tracks at times, and not just rely on Akdha scenes to get their viewership. Today's chess scene was nice because instead of the repeated banter there was some substance in it.

So are they serious about HB wanting Jodha to change religion? I get that the Shah was helpful earlier, but his absolute monopoly over all Muslim Sultanates is a little out of line.

infact I really wished they elaborated the decree a little more, the amount of thinking that really went behind it was hardly touched upon, it looked rather like they randomly created a document, they did not even touch upon on how this decree would strengthen Akbar's stance. But why a war after the decree has been declared??

And Akbar made a law that Mughal princesses could not marry henceforth, when was this law actually passed?

I wonder how they wish to bring in this vishkanya now, Benazir;s daughter who wishes to seek revenge? 😆 They must have something in mind, or they won't repeat a similar track. I just hope whatever it is it is realistic and well executed.
