I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that sent me PM's, commented and liked the 2nd chapter...your response has motivated me to work on the 3rd chapter earlier than planned. 😊

Chapter 3 TZR

"Jodha beti" Jo turns around and looks into one of her favorite pair of eyes ..ammijaan's. They walk towards each other and embrace...HB's embrace was comforting to Jo...she had missed the motherly touch, warmth...it reminded her of her mom...tears begin to cloud her eyes ... "ammijaan, I missed you...I am so happy today," she says in between tears...HB embraces her tighter, lightly pats Jo's head against her shoulder, "I'm sorry we were not there for you when you need us the most, I'm sorry my son caused a lot of pain in your life" she whispers ...Jo sighs "its okay...it was my choice, I don't regret it, at that time it all seemed good, but now I see and regret all the hurt it will be causing...I did what I had to do" HB pulls away, hold Jo's hand and leads her to the sofa... "you disappeared from our lives and 3 years later show up with a grandchild we never knew existed ...where is my potaa?" ...looking around "I have been dreaming about him all night long, this was the longest night of my life" she sighs getting up...Jo gets up and calls "Sony beta..." She sees him giggling and running with a half eaten banana in his hand...Bakshi laughing loudly, chasing him..."he is a bundle of energy" Jo whispers as she grabs him to a halt ..."mommy...let go...I'm play catch" Jo picks him up and sits him on her lap... "beta I want you to meet someone very special...your dadima..." Sony looks up, jumps off her laps and claps "my daddy, my daddy, mommy sony happy ...thank you mommy" he turns around and hugs Jo...Jo, HB and Bakshi ...all shocked to the core...Salim littles eyes scans the room, Jo sees tiny disappointed eyes ... "no beta, your dadi ...dadima ...your daddy's mom" hugging him tightly...Salim slowly lifts his head and looks at HB...a little shy, initially refuses to get out of Jo's arms but slowly warms up to HB... "Salim beta...look what I have for you, a present, do you want to open this present?" HB asks...the little boy eagerly nods, sliding off Jo's lap and into HB's arms...
