But I will be Devil's advocate in this post. Our leads and our story has legions of fans but there are some haters. People like actor Shaurya who ridicule fans and doubt the JA story, then there is that B grade CV who enjoys making mocking tweets, and all those from Ekta's production team who gave the poor advise for leap and the few Salim Anarkali fans.

For all these people, failure of Rajat and Paridhi to stabilize the TRP will be music to their ears. They will give all sorts of justifications of why things worked earlier and none to credit Rajat and Paridhi.

Rajat recently got married, almost immediately he is called back and involved in hectic shoots. Paridhi was going on a vacation, she too was called back and is working hard. They would not want to disappoint those who put their faith in them these trying times.

Ekta and the CV's have taken the serial to the depths, if Rajat and Paridhi can save the situation, it will be a feather in their cap and give them a lot of power regarding the portrayal of their characters and their future endeavors in this industry.

I have left watching JA but I am still here on JA forum cos of the so many wonderful friends here. They enriched my JA experience, I read so many wonderful thinkers writers here.

Susan & Abhay, sometimes Bhavana's threads have been my link to JA. Thanks Susan for your wonderful threads - I really love them cos they remind me of the good times of JA - when I also loved them like crazy.

Diksha - 😃 - I don't trust these CVs at all. If they really wanted a turnaround they would have given viewers what they wanted - Ruk punished & sidelined. There are some who can still watch JA for RTPS and Akdha - I hope for your sake you enjoy watching.

Donjas - very interesting post. Frankly I would not spare a second's thought to what the actor & writer (I consider him C grade!) think. I have learnt on JA forum no matter how many proofs are given there are those who will still try to negate every proof. To each their own!

I will be hugely glad for RTPS's sake if they can revive JA. However, I still stand by what I wrote - I firmly believe they have nothing to prove. It is rather a test of CVs - they are the ones who turned loyal viewers away by their sick horribly negative tracks.

If you read the replies on this thread, or Radhika's thread (about Ruk punishment) you will see there is NOT A SINGLE PERSON who stopped watching cos of Akdha or RTPS. Rather they kept watching even when they were clearly hating JA ONLY cos of their love for Akdha.

So it is CVs test not RTPS. It comes down to if viewers are willing to trust the CVs again?

Let some narrow minded people think what they like - anybody who denies the huge success & magic of JA was due in large part to RTPS - are head buried in the sand, refusing the see the reality kind! I won't waste my time worrying what these people believe! I am sure PHs don't go by what some C grade writer or small time actor thinks! They would KNOW the power & magic of RTPS and their star power.

I agree with you that concerned viewers who loved JA like crazy kept giving feedback - calls to zee, on facebook, twitter, here - anyway they can against the leaps, that they were hating the negativity - how JJ were made to look like fools - CVs just totally ignored, with brazen disregard for falling TRPs also. It is only when Ekta got involved that they are making a pretense of trying!

Why would they need for Ekta to tell them? Couldn't they SEE what they were doing to JA? Historical? Have they left a single character with dignity?

This was said to be Ekta's dream project! I also find it unbelievable that she did not know what was happening! If she really did not - then she chose wrong person/s to manage JA - who totally ruined it.

Why did it take so long for her to get involved? At this stage when viewers have left in disgust? Why couldn't she hire better writers for her dream project? Why leave it in the hands of her sbs stable who totally destroyed it?

Radhika - I firmly believe RT PS have nothing to left to prove - in regards to JA. They are the ones why TRPs are still what they are! Cos addicted viewers still watch cos they cannot stop - for love of Akdha!

It is not in your or my control what Cvs tell Ekta or what she will believe!
For whatever reason or whoever told her & she believed that SA will work and her writers seem to have convinced her that they had no story to tell! It boggles my mind that 42 years of event filled magnificent lives and her writers could not write tracks on them! They took what 22-25? years leaps!

Shows are running for 5+ years on some channels. JA had the potential to run for more. To think that when I started watching JA I felt this is one serial I can watch for years! What material they had, if only they did not choose sbs writers for JA. CVs are totally responsible for what JA is currently.

She has seen what the WRONG ADVICE - SA & Ruk glorification - overwhelming sick negativity - has done to JA. If she can't see that the TRPs they are still getting are ONLY due to RTPS - then there is nothing anybody can do.


I still stand FIRMLY by what I wrote. RT PS are magic, they made JA work and viewers still love them. I still love them as Akdha.

Unfortunately - viewers who love them also - had to stop watching because they could not handle the negativity & Ruk glorification.

If you have read the replies here - replies on Radhika's thread about Ruk punishment - it is about 50-50 - there are those who left in disgust at Ruk (like me) and now do not trust the CVs. There are those viewers who are eager for this track to work and hope JA can still go back to previous glory.

I read Donjas post here, on another thread also. He is right - if CVs were really serious about reviving JA - why did they not show Ruk punished? This would have convinced viewers that they really want to revive JA.

Lastly it still boggles my mind that fans have to make threads and write things like "we will put pressure on CVs and try to make them punish Ruk" - it greatly disturbs me that a vamp is shown drugging AN INNOCENT YOUNG CHILD - NOT JUST ONCE BUT REPEATEDLY - she is shown murdering a witness to her crime - AND VIEWERS HAVE TO BRING PRESSURE for CVs to punish her????????????????????? 🤢

Even in kalyug - we all are brought to believe that good wins over evil, that decency, loyalty, truthfulness, respect, standing for truth are good virtues to have!

I am to trust the CVs who make a complete mockery of this? Who have to be PRESSURED to punish a character - which in current times will be hanged to death for her crimes. What is the message these CVs are conveying?

RTPS have proved themselves in JA - acting, star power, chemistry, TRPs, getting viwers addicted - EVERYTHING. Fabulous actors in their mid 20s - made to to enact characters double their age - cos BT CVs have run out of ideas!

More than RTPS - I wish JA is revived brought back to its full glory for the loyal wonderful loving fans. JA fans are so special they stood by Akdha thru thick and thins (LOTS of thins!) and I understand how eager the fans are for this track to work - for JA & Akdha brought back to previous glory. ONLY for these fans sake I sincerely wish that this track works.
If not anybody else the fans totally deserve it. 👏

What saddens me is that JA fans have always been split into camps - Jalal vs Jodha fans, RT vs PS fans, JA vs SA fans and what have you. Now there's a split among those viewers who want to watch JA despite Ruq and those who cannot bear to watch JA because of Ruq. I stopped watching the show when I couldn't take her anymore.

Yet today I am watching this track because I want it to work and prove to be a stepping stone to JA's revival.

I don't mind people telling me to watch or not watch this show because ALL these people are my friends. Why should I take out my displeasure with the show / the CVs on them? I would support anyone who posts asking old-timers to return to the show because they are doing it for the sake of a show which we all loved once. I DO NOT believe that they are doing this for the CVs or even RTPS but ONLY for themselves and all of us because they want this show back in all its glory - the way we all loved it once.

I have seen many friends fighting the CVs on FB and Twitter and forcing them to change many NR depictions and ultimately to abandon SA and return to JA.

The very fact that the CVs have now reverted to a track on JA is not just because of Ekta but because of the pressure brought on them by legions of fans. And these are fans of not just RTPS but of the real AkDha - those who love the real story of Akbar and HK and want it to reach as many people as possible.

I don't care if the CVs and Ekta are doing this for TRPs. It is important that they are doing it - showcasing important events from real history.

I would support any move to bring pressure on CVs to punish Ruq. Why should we do that , isn't it the CVs job, you ask.

We have to do it because if the CVs are not doing their job, then they have to be made to do their job. TV is an influential medium. Young people learn a lot from watching it.

We may decide we don't want negativity and stop watching the show or be mature enough to watch but ignore what we see. But there are any number of young people out there who watch and learn from what is shown on screen. I do not want them to be wrongly influenced by a Ruq going scot free.

I still don't believe she will be publicly punished. But I want her to be exposed and sidelined so that people know that one cannot lead a life of sin forever. I want her mistakes to be rectified and Salim reunited with his parents.

I had not thought it possible but am now convinced that fan power works and it is a powerful tool to set things right.

At the end of the day, this show is much more than RTPS. They are great actors who brought the magic alive on screen but this story is way beyond them and the CVs and the PH and its profit line and TRPs. This is a real story about 2 historical legends that has to be told to the next gen. On Abhay's blog, people write in from far away places - from Belgrade to Bali - because they are fascinated by the real story of Akbar and HK and for them, RTPS are just a medium to discover the real history.

RTPS may have proved themselves, the CVs may be lazy, the PH may have made its profits. But who are the losers - we and the real AkDha. I will stand by the real couple and give another chance for them to tell their story even if it means putting up with the negativity-filled CVs.

This is purely my personal stand and I do not wish anyone to adhere to it just because I said so. Every individual has the right to make a choice. This is my choice. 😊
