This is NOT a referendum on JodhaJalal!

I had said bye to JA forum with my last thread & have stayed away since then. It is only when I get PMs from JA friends I just visit their threads - so I am not aware what is happening in JA currently - who is who in actors etc. I stopped watching after HH track.

This thread is because I kept getting PMs from JA friends asking me to start watching JA again cos it is NOW concentrating on JodhaJalal and Ruk is not around.
I read random posts who are practically pleading that old JA watchers should start watching cos we should send the message to CVs that only JJ centric tracks work. We should watch otherwise SA will be back to center stage.


I am sorry but I do not agree with this assumption at all. To my thinking JA or JodhaJalal work - does not need to be proved to CVs or anybody at all. They know. Why do you all think after the flop show of SA (as shown by sliding TRPs down below No.15 in rank) CVs did some research for once and dug up something historical focusing on JodhaJalal??? It is cos CVs KNOW ONLY JodhaJalal work!

JodhaJalal got JA consistantly in top 3 - it is when JA became "Ruk & her sadistic disgusting evil punishment free crimes" & SA that sickened viewers turned their backs on JA.

So to my mind viewers do not have to prove JJ work to CVs they know. Why do you all think Ruk is missing from this track? Cos this is a desperate attempt to bring back TRPs and CVs know Ruk is TRPs burner. If old time viewers are to come back then they have to make it only about JJ and Ruk cannot be shown for sometime.

Paridhi & Rajat do not have to prove anything to anybody. They already did that - JA was huge huge success in big EQUAL part due to them. They bring in TRPs - they are magic.

So viewers who are enjoying, want to come back - good for you if you are enjoying JA again. Just do not do it thinking you OWE it to JA or Akdha or it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to get JA back to top 5. It is NOT!

Everybody has limited 2-3-4 hours of tv time after a busy day and it is VIEWERS - WE - YOU - who CHOOSE what we watch. CVs are not doing any favor to Akdha fans by bringing JJ centric track - rather they are doing this cos (read in media) they got shake up by Ekta/Zee & woke up from their lazy sadistic tracks slumber! They do not care about viewers AT ALL or about TRPs - they were sliding for months. So CVs don't deserve any thanks!

Viewers will be doing them HUGE FAVOR if they start watching again. Viewers watching for Akdha or RT PS - it was this desperate connection that kept viewers watching even when they were hating what JA had become. CVs used the fans love for RT PS for Akdha to shove down horribly crass sick negative tracks & leap after leap after leap on viewers throats.

It is viewers who refused SA & Ruk glorification by sliding TRPs that finally made CVs bring JJ centre stage. Please realize that YOU are doing CVs favor - not vice versa! 😆😆

JodhaJalal gave top 3 position but RT PS spent months in ugly almost fading 3-4 costumes for months. Did anybody care? Viewers offered to pay for Jodha's costumes!

I will stay away - I don't trust CVs - the overwhelming message JA CVs sent out - evil wins always, goodness=stupidity, rich & powerful can get away without any punishment no matter if the crimes involved are making a child drug addict & murder. 🤢🤢

Anyways maddy you raised a good point! I truly don't think JA will be back to top 5 in any ways.This is a waste dream.I really don't trust these mediocre cvs! The fact that others started watching and praising the episodes aroused my curiosity as well,so i gave it try. And its pretty nice because i'm not watching for cvs/ekta or for their trps,i'm watching for myself because i love JA and will always.
Whatever you said about the pending list of unravelled crimes is true but i think that its like a cycle.
Ph/cvs depend on us..we don't depend on them! If they will drop what we expect them to show,they will be the losers...We know how they are and what they are capable of...and its really not a favor for me 😆

i too stopped watching after resham is framed for afeem and that is when i coildn't take any more even for love of rt and ps and like a burnt cat my sentiments echos yours..i couldn't still believe the cvs has changed ways and now onwards it would jj centric..there is still a nagging feeling taht jalals abrupt turn is somehow the foundation for start of mea .but feel happy for friends who watch ja as this track would be a relief for them with no ruq less sa and more ja.. hopefully this last longer ao they can enjoy it fully rather than the lollipops.

agree with every point of urs... even i skip the episodes if I feel i m not going to get AkDha scenes like i want to see... but then this current track is AkDha centeric... so i don't mind watching... but not for CVs, but only for RTPS and our Akdha..

and one more thing , if they succeed in pulling up the TRPs which will give them their lost position in top 3, then i m sure they will go back to SA and ruku track ... these CVs r hopeless...

anyway, this is testing time for JA... this is their last chance to keep the show going on... else ZEE has 2/3 shows ready with them, and the promos of one show (ek tha raja ek thi rani of Drashti Dhami ) r already out ... and my guess is it will replace either QH or JA...

so let's hope, it's not JA that is going off air... hope CVs don't again show how brainless they r , and hope they continue only with JA and Akbar's nine gems...

Maddy, I am so pleased to see your post. I read it with interest. You believe that Rajat, Paridhi and the JA story have nothing to prove. I too feel the same, so do many others.

But I will be Devil's advocate in this post. Our leads and our story has legions of fans but there are some haters. People like actor Shaurya who ridicule fans and doubt the JA story, then there is that B grade CV who enjoys making mocking tweets, and all those from Ekta's production team who gave the poor advise for leap and the few Salim Anarkali fans.

For all these people, failure of Rajat and Paridhi to stabilize the TRP will be music to their ears. They will give all sorts of justifications of why things worked earlier and none to credit Rajat and Paridhi.

Rajat recently got married, almost immediately he is called back and involved in hectic shoots. Paridhi was going on a vacation, she too was called back and is working hard. They would not want to disappoint those who put their faith in them these trying times.

Ekta and the CV's have taken the serial to the depths, if Rajat and Paridhi can save the situation, it will be a feather in their cap and give them a lot of power regarding the portrayal of their characters and their future endeavors in this industry.
