CHAPTER 12

Jodha wakes up and finds Jalal sleeping so goes to take a shower

but the thing she spots in mirror makes her shocked...

she finds blood oozing out from each and every part of her body... she is shocked and rushes outside the washroom to find the bedsheet covered with blood...

she gets a flashback in her mind and finally her doubt gets cleared when she spots blood on Jalal's mouth...

she gulps the saliva down which had formed in her mouth...she sits down there in the corner and tugs her head between her knees

after a few minutes:

jalal wakes up and finds Jodha lying down...

he is shocked seeing the state of her and almost rushes to her saying Jodha...

jodha hears his voice and looks up and says

"paas mat aana...maine kaha paas mat aana"

(don't come near me... I said don't come near me)

and suddenly she faints...

Two years later:

Canada:

jodha" are ruko...bas thoda sa aur.please kha lo

(wait. there's only little left...please eat it)

"nahi nahi nahi...aap cheating kal lahe ho...ye tild time aap last time bol llahe ho...main nahi kaunga.."

(no no no... you are cheating... this is the third time you are saying last time... i am not going to eat)

"acha baba thik hai... mama salim ko nahi khilaegi... ok?

ab to aa jao"

(ok ok... mama will not feed anymore to salim...now come)

"mama aapko pata hai aaj jab aap office gaye the to moti mausi ne bola ki nect yeal che main school jaunga...mujhe nahi jaana aapko chodke"

(mama you know when you had went to office... moti aunty said that next year i will have to go to school... i won't go anywhere leaving you)

"okok ye ham next year decide karenge... ab raat ho chuki hai...chaliye saahab zaade sona hai.."

(ok ok we will see to that next year... now it's late...come on my king... we gotta sleep)

to which salim laughs..

jodha while caressing his hair...remembers how she had to choose between her and salim's life when she was having labour pain and she chose salim's life and how both are living now...

how jalal had decieved her and she had to run to save her life... and how she hated the person whom once she used to love...
