I loved the epilogue ... I know I am a bit late to the party as I have been very busy at work and then busy with family during the holidays ... And I wanted to do full justice to my final take 10 for NJAPA Part I (I foresee future parts as I said before 😉😆)

Loool and I'm even later at dropping you back from the party... maybe cos I don't wanna let you go 😉 for ever and ever!!!

All I can say like Rajni ... Is that though I am "late", I can try to come "latest." And I will try to pay some interest for the delay (read onto know how)

Loool the English translation didn't quite sound like the Tamil one me thinks.. but I got the hint!😆

What I loved about the epilogue was the subtlety of the beautiful moments ... It felt very much like a normal day, but everything normal was special as Jodha and Jalal were together. 😳

And here starts my dream-a-thon

This is broken into the three themes I love:

Theme 1: Re-living their most special wedding in flashback

(1) One of the most beautiful things I loved about this chapter was it started like any other normal day ... You did not make a huge hoopla about the wedding and spend time on the ceremonies, but rather focused on the precious memories of the wedding as viewed in a flashback by Jodha.

Another reason (apart from the beauty of the private moments) is that there's TOO much in an Indian wedding to describe that can take away from the gist of the story and if NJAPA style, I started on that tangent... I'd never finish... 😆

(2) What was the thing that caught in her hair? Again it is a surprise for us. The ring ... In the backdrop of the mehndi. You described the combination of the diamonds and mehndi beautifully. I could literally see Jodha's hand through your description with the mehndi and diamond ring.

(3) Parallel between that fateful night when they had united and this one ... It made the story come full circle as the world now witnessed Jalal putting the ring on Jodha's finger among the other festivities. It was a beautiful moment. It reminded me of how right after that night, Jodha had been in shock- that the red saree she wore for the college event was not a shaadhi ka joda and now coming full circle she now had worn her wedding dress.

Yes... 😊 and this was how it was meant to happen... but poor thing... little did she know at that time that this was how it was meant to happen..

(4) As Jodha looked at Jalal's tunic we re-lived along with her how he looked in his tunic, diamond studded buttons, and surma ... I could picture Jalal as a nawab myself.

Hyderabadi (and Maharashtrian) aristocratic muslims are referred to as nawabs (their Lucknowi counterparts)😳... rather than Mughals... so I've always imagine the Jalal in this story to be a Nawaab!

(5) The bidaii ... It was a very funny detail for its contrast to the typical filmy bidaai but shows to what extent the relationship between Jalal and the Singhs had evolved. It was hilarious the way Jodha's family is completely on Jalal's side now and how amusing it is to Jodha.

Awww I've always imagined there'd be tears.. .but lesser than the usual ... cos the two families are already so comfortable with each other.. love each other... and technically, she's only moved half an hour from her maika...

Plus, the partiality they have towards Jalal 😆 yesss!

Theme 2: Jodha's return to normalcy ... I loved the subtle detailing to show how Jodha had recovered.

(1) Appearance ... How natural the way you described how her tresses had reached her elbows ... How her short hair had grown along with how life had moved one for her.

Awww thanks... 😳

(2) Physical dexterity of her hands ... She was combing her hair and putting on makeup herself ... Where just recently she was relying on her Bhaabhi for help.

True... (but recently is nearly 2 years ago)

(3) Working ... How subtly you showed she was working through the documents she was shuffling around. This is the detailing I love so much writer-e-khaas. It was amazing idea for Jalal to propose Jodha working for the Amal old age home. Such a Jalal thing to do and reaffirms why I love him so much. It was a great way for Jodha to do something meaningful for herself as well as others. 👏

More than TM? ☺️

On a more serious note, yes that's why their romance is meant to be 'epic' hope I've justified it with these smaller details to show how one always complements and supplements the other in their relationship!

(4) Painting ... Yes, her brushstrokes were not the exact same ... But it was such a positive picture to see Jodha's painting of Robbie's final moments in Jalal's lap back on the shelf and of course Jalal would treasure it.

Yes... 😳

(5) and the little "adjustments" they had made to make life move on were truly endearing. And perhaps the fact they didn't refer to them as compromises even more endearing. I particularly liked Jalal's idea of creating a theater at home ... It was extremely cute.

And even as things were returning to a "normal" rhythm, everything is special because Jodha-Jalal have each other.

Theme 3: And the third and last theme, was the new types of special moments between Jodha and Jalal:

(1) The new experience of Jodha getting ready while watching a sweet Jalal "innocently" sleeping

Awww this sounds so cute coming from you... 😳

(3) Jodha's cute struggles to wake Jalal up and dealing with the fake histronics of Jalal with an equally fake anger ... I also liked how Jodha cutely chided Jalal for not taking care of his shoulder

Hee hee..

(4) The beautiful scene of Jodha feeding Jalal her hand made masala parathas and pineapple halwa ... It was such a beautiful moment and it was lovely the way that Jalal was happier in Jodha's sense of achievement than anything else.

Keep going

(4) The beautiful hug when Jalal once again realized how Jodha was meant for him only and to take care of him ... It went back to that same dialogue of him asking who will take care of him.

I know I missed the reference to that conversation the last time but this time you made it crystal clear for us. So, thank you!

I am curious whether Jalal will ever share that experience with Jodha.

I don't think so.. because it's an out of body experience and even though his sub-conscience got the kick out of it and achieved what it had to push him back to life, I doubt his conscious mind has properly understood the implication/significance of what happened.. so it might just be something well buried within...

(5) The final shot... Jalal and Jodha looking in the mirror, and Jalal putting sindhoor on Jodha. It was beautiful that they are now husband and wife and that feeling is sinking in.

It reminded me from this lovely mirror scene from the show during the first anniversary of Jodha and Jalal.

Yes dear... it was like that scene... a more modern version of course! 😳

These little moments foreshadowed the little moments in life that would continue to be special for Jodha and Jalal. Once again, an amazing update which made the little moments in life special again. It inspired me to write a take 15 ... As there were so many little things I liked.

hmmm ... taking-a deep-deep-breath ... whatt can I say ... as I mentioned earlier that I was waiting for a very very long time for such kind of update & finally I got that ... letme fist pump in the air ... i so much loved this update n i dont know how many times I have read it ... gosh !!! the ending was superb ... dont tell me this is the end ... somebody pinch me n tell me this is the dream ... n lashy is just kidding of ending it ... now when actually their love story has begun 😭 ...

btw i loved so many things in this chapter ...starting with

1) jo actually adoring her once-secret diamond ring on her henna painted hands ... dreams -did -come -true for her ...ufff finally lashy made it happen ... maharani ji thank u for that ...

2) n jo blushing on seeing that mark on her shoulders ... issshhh !!! even i was blushing reading that ... ☺️ my naughty jalal ... !!!

3) finally jalal has established & captured the singh household with his deadly charms ... awweee ... & i am the most happiest person on the earth right now ...

4) The whole Blue conversations was so so sensual , fun & so much like the old jalal & jodha ... we actually got them back in this chapter ...

5) & the point which i loved the most in this whole chapter was shantamma blushing like a new bride while giving the tray away to jodha ... bwuahahahah ... ohh i want to pull shantamma's cheeks now 🤣 very badly ofcourse 😆... !!!

6) so jo is a working women ... great !!! & loved the adjustments they both did for each other ... thats how a marriage works ...!!! 👍🏼

9) & so the pineapple halwa was delivered to jalal after 2 years ... gosh how unfortunate ... 😭 ... !! all because of u lashy 😡 u interrupted that halwa delivery to jalal by putting jo in danger 😡...

But that's how Jalal became readymade Singh Jamaisa na... and PRCS was kicked out - both in one go! 😆

10) how can we forget that sweet gesture of jodha where she said she is their to take care of him when he is taking care of other's ... gawd that was one emotional moment in the whole scene ... i so loved when jalal hugged jodha & jodha knew something was up with jalal the moment he hugged her ... they know each other so well ... gosh can they get any more adorable than they are right now ...

11) & now i got the hint of YOU telling us sometime back that we will get a shocking news about renu ... so this was the news that renu has found someone ... got married finally & is pregnant ... indeed that was jaw-droppingly shocking 😆 ...!!!

lashy maate ... kaha hai aapke charan ... zara charan sparsh kar loon mein aapki 😡😆 ...

Oh you were THISSS shocked... good then 🤣

12) Lastly the best ending was when jalal puts the holy sindoor ...gosh it was such an emotional scene to read ... i could visualize all of that ... how it must have actually felt for jo ... gawd !!! i was all emotional reading this chapter ... 😭 ... you always make me cry ... i hate u for that 😡 ...

You cried for Sindoor scene also you should have been smiling like this -> 😃

One of the best epilogues I have read in a long time. I so wanted to know what Jodha does in her professional life. I envisioned her in office with Jalal or running a small business herself. But it all felt wrong. Amal is THE right place for her. 👏

This small peek in the happily ever after of Jodha-Jalal was so enticing that it has left me wanting for more. Can you give us epilogue part 2 where they have a cute kid? 😳

You see Lash, over the last year NJAPA has become a very important part of my life. I remember that feeling of impatience, to have to wait for weekends for an update. The first thing I'd do on opening my eyes would be check for an update. God, you have even made me do impossible things in office for NJAPA. 😆

After reading epilogue, it struck me all over again that all that has come to an end and like a child I want to cling to it re. 😭 I don't want my NJAPA to come to an end. NJAPA occupies the same space in my mind as Cinderella and Snow White. And the way Disney brought Cinderella part 2and even 3, I want NJAPA part 2. 😛

I have admired your work so many times before, that it's just gonna be redundant if write it again. But truly think of getting this published. You have a gift. ⭐️
