Holy Heavens

"Aao sunao pyar ki ek kahani

Ek tha ladaka, ek thi ladki deewani.."

The seductive fragrance of roses, the mesmerizing charisma of moonlight and the mellifluous humming from the most beautiful pristine form are elevating the amorous spirit of that enthralling night.

"Is that our love story are you singing about Jodha begum?" a husky voice percussed in the serene chambers increasing the dhadkan of humming begum. "His voice and his touch, why do they never fail to rouse my senses?" she wondered and gracefully gaited towards him.

"Not exactly ours, but of someone alike us Shehanshah," she sniggered greeting with pranam. "Acha, may I know who they are? You seem to be pretty impressed with them," he smirked approaching her. "Not so easily Shehanshah," she teased not flinching from her place.

"Acha, waise ek baat batayiye." his head highed cautiously scrutinizing her. "Isn't it weird that you are more interested in Hrithik Roshan these days, particularly after his divorce?" he closed in with an intrigue frown. "Oh, so Shehanshah-E-hind Jalalluddin Mohammad Akbar, The Great is jealous of someone," she amused with a lopsided grin.

"Not really," he bluffed. "When you have no complaints about my liking of Aishwarya rai, why would I?" he retorted. "Aishwarya Bachachan Shehansha," she corrected concealing her smirks, "Waise aajkal Shehanshah ko mummies jyada yummy lag rahe hai? Koyi wajah?" she riposted.

"Nothing of that sort! I like Deepika Padukone too. Actually I was on my way to meet her, but was distracted by your singing," he scoffed and turned to leave majestically folding his arms back.. "Rukiye Shehansha," came a hasty rebuke forcing the elegant emperor halt on his tracks. A victorious smirk curved his lips, after all who better knows the feisty Ameri princess than the magnificent Mughal emperor. But alas, ridiculing his anticipations the vivacious queen didn't advance towards him as he expected. Instead she brisk walked to the dressing table and soon returned with a wooden step stool. "Please take this with you, aapka kaam aa sakta hain," suppressing her giggles, she faced him offering the stool.

"Waah, what happened to her?" he puzzled discerning the new striptease avatar of his favorite Begum. Undoubtedly he was enjoying the tease-a-thon, but being Jallaluddin Mohammad Akbar, he masked his amusement. "No thanks!" he curtly replied and proceeded to leave, but how can the Theda emperor let his feisty queen win.

"Oh, how could I forget that I promised this night to Rukaiyya begum?" he thought aloud, well aware of the consequence of taking Begum E Khas's name before Jodha begum.

"Oh no!" her smile vanished perceiving his devious plans for the night. "I have a lot to share with him, I can't let him go to Rukaiyya Begum," she averred. But not being a shy cozy Begum any more, the flamboyant queen contemplated over an exuberant way of dealing his displeasure. She smirked at the very idea and thereby swiftly gaited to stop him before he stepped out of the chambers.

"Yes!" he grinned victoriously at the tug of his arm. Anticipating a few usual earnest pleadings, he rocked at his position without looking back. One.. two.. three.. seconds passed by with nothing but sheer silence from her. Surprised by the lull, he decided to look back, that is when he perceived her hand budging down. Slowly, yet steadily her right hand fingers captured his palm and intertwined with his manicured smooth yet hard fingers. Bridging the distance between them, she moved closer, so close that her high curves slightly collided with his back arousing his senses. She encircled the intertwined right hands gently round his waist, meantime, her left arm entwined with his left hand and she en routed them to his right shoulder sensuously gliding across his chest. "Woah!" dazed by the tantalizing lock of his torso between their entwined arms, he stepped back, nearly zeroing the distance between them, all the while amazing at her next moves.

A shy smile erupted her lips as she closed her lids getting lost in his manly musk, the moment her petite form brushed against his virile torso. "Don't fall for his charm Jodha," her frenzied heart screamed aloud alarming the fragile queen. Swiftly composing her racing senses, she advanced a tiny step that completely zeroed the gap between two bodies. Her arms stiffened their grips at their respective positions tightening the lock, and once she confirmed he is fastened in her grip, she leisurely slithered the tip of her nose along his neckline.

Biting his lips at the tickling arousal, he thoroughly enjoyed the new form of his shy begum and deeply wondered what she is up to. "Uff," she sensuously blew the silky brown locks covering his right ear, and paused a moment to perceive his increased beats. Triumphantly smiling at her near success, she proceeded to final step of her tease-a-thon. Slightly rising on her toes, she moved her lips to back of his right ear and halted at an ion distance. "Mccch!" the loud seductive sound of lips very close to back of his ear, but with absolutely no physical touch of her lips on his skin, created dire wonders than any other sensual act of hers till date. As an aftermath, his spine profusely shuddered rousing his senses to their zenith; but before he turned to squeeze her in his mighty arms, her husky voice echoed behind his ears, "Ab jayiye aapke khaas begum ke paas," she counter attacked with mild giggles and gradually freed him from the lock.

"Mashallah!" gob-smacked by her luscious gesture, he immediately turned back to crush the bewitching form grinning triumphantly at her victory. "aapka ye hunar hume sabse jyada pasand aaya Jodha begum," he whispered passionately looking into her eyes, whilst his fingers playfully tapped around her waist. The red passion transferred from his eyes to her cheeks bringing in a change of shade. She blushed hard as his intensely impassionate gaze pierced straight into her heart teasing her bold approach. Smiling in extreme shyness, she snugged deep into his chest hiding her blushes from him. "Ha ha!" smiling loud at her embarrassment, he tightened his grip round her waist kissing on her head and tucked her deep into his heart - the place where she belonged to.

*************

"Ab batayiye, whose influence is behind this new form of yours Jodha begum?" he curiously asked playing with her thick tresses. An endearing smile erupted her lips at the very notion, and he crackled as the bare skin of his chest could feel the curves of her lips. "Why do you think I'm changed?" she intrigued looking up to him placing her chin on her right palm that was resting on his heart. "Because you are not you today Jodha begum," he adjusted her locks and added, "You didn't ask me aap yaha, iss samay?' when I stepped into your chamber. That means you are not you," he answered with a wicked grin. She cutely pouted at that sarcastic wit and her fingers involuntarily curled to pinch his bare chest.

"Aah," letting out a husky moan at that sweet bite, he pulled her an inch closer. "A strange glow, a playful smile, there is something different about you Jodha. What is that?" he lovingly asked. She smiled and blinked in agreement to his observation; slowly she got up from him and reposed against the bedstead. "You are right Shehanshah. I'm influenced, deeply and thoroughly. And this is the influence of.. ", she paused curiously watching out his reaction, "Jodha!"

"Jodha?" he is evidently surprised, "Whom are you talking about Jodha begum?"

"I'm talking about Jodha of an epic love story I came across this evening Shehansha," she gleamed in delight. "So is this the love story you were thinking of when I came here?" he wondered. Nodding her head in approval, she took his hand into hers. The content smile brightening her face, the longing in her glares as she ogled him, explained him all - No doubt his begum is touched by the story, very profoundly!!. Thereby, he rose from the plush pillow and shifted to a more comfortable place - her lap.

"Tell me that story Jodha begum, seems it impacted you a lot," he asked admiring her contented smile. "Ji shehanshah," she obliged lovingly caressing his auburn hair and started narrating the most enthralling, emotional life ride of an irresistible couple named Jalal and Jodha.

************

"If I were to be reborn, I'd like to be born as Jodha of this story Shehanshah," she confessed wiping her moist ears.

"And I'll be your Jalal, like the one of this story to love you all over again Jodha," he promised kissing her hand.

They stayed silent fervently gazing at each other, thanks to the effect of the compassionate love story they had been subjected to. A naughty thought crept his grey cells as he passionately glanced at his begum. "Waise Jodha begum, I think Rukaiyya begum better suits the character of your story Jodha than you. I mean, she is competent, beautiful, strong and bold just like THAT Jodha... aah," he screamed in pain as his waist turned red with the fiercely twist of his silk skin, but before he uttered something else, she brutally shut his aah-opened mouth, of course with her tender lips. The glimmering moon and shining stars lovingly blessed the endearing couple - "Tadhasthu!"

So my dear IFians, that is what NJAPA is. Not a fan fiction, not a story, not a mere writing!! It's an experience. An experience that leaves you highly impacted and madly addicted. An experience too complicated to be explained in words but should be perceived by you on your own.

( ^ Holy Heavens... Magical and Beautiful .. right? Because it is penned down by just as much BEAUTIFUL person... Jahnu Di (hemakeerti) 🤗 Thanks a lot di for this! ❤️)

Part I

My chellam this is your chellam's words from bottom of her heart. I always have never satisfy thirsty on history and historical characters. So cause of curiosity I visited IF forum previously too for Mahabharat and Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev but never gave a thought of joining the forum nor the discussions. So the same curiosity dragged me here too. As usual came and read about some historical facts never touched FFs. But one fine day i mistakenly clicked your FF and That's it and now I'm a proud NJAPANIAN/Banjaaras and got good friends too. So here I'm telling/warning you all that after JA show finish, if you all are moving to some other forum please take me too. Don't dare to face my wrath.😡

As i mentioned earlier too, this NJAPA is close to my heart not only because of beauty of story or writer but also cause of some NJAPA incidents those connects to my own love story. So sometimes while reading the story i couldn't help myself refrain from imagining myself and hubby instead of Paridhi and Rajat. So there is no doubt that I'll remember this story forever for sure.😳

I have been into such a beautiful journey with the growth of NJAPA, tho i sank into this pool from thread7 and the friendship i got here I'm damn sure I will cherish forever. Love you all my Banjaraas.

Part II
Lashy I love you my chellam and Thank you so much for this extra ordinary sensational story. In our life we've read so many stories; some may touch us, some may influence us and some may make us laugh/cry but only few we'll cherish forever and I'm damn sure NJAPA is also one of them👏 and I'm really proud to be a Banjaara to encourage(of cause annoy😆) you throughout the growth of this epic story😎

The soul-mate you sketch here is just awesome. I've no word left to tell about this couple after all it's not just a passionate affair. He is there for her and she is there for him what may come. We have been enjoyed with them, admired them, cried for them and prayed for them throughout their passionate journey tho they are just a main leads of a fictional story. But it's like as they are living with us. Every women in the world longing for a man like jalal so as men for a girl like jodha. They set a benchmark that's how a ideal couple could be.
😳

I know i told you above words before too tho I'm shamelessly repeating the same here cause those are true words from my heart.

You gave us the best of best in the name of NJAPA and other OSs for us and I pray for you so that you get the best of best in your life too. Love you so much my chellm and i want your friendship rest of my life too
😃

"NJAPA has been one of my best experiences in JA forum and also a delightful experience as a reader😳...I don't know what to say...I have been following this story, just after you published a couple of chapters dear...But I got hooked to NJAPA and you know that dear...When I think why I fell for this story and am still reeling in this magical / romantic story then I can think of a number of reasons --- a quite realistic setting, romance off course with a proposed happy ending 😳 and the fact that I could envision Parijat in this story. The serial JA due to which we all are in JA forum promised us of Akdha who are strong/beautiful/intelligent/ideal lovers/perfect life partners and true soulmates...However it is only in NJAPA that I could really find them and not in the serial😃 ..Romance, suspense, thrill, intelligence, sensitivity, comedy, friendship, action, you name it and you get it in NJAPA.
But apart from the story, it is my dear storyteller that needs applause and appreciation 😳 My superstar sis you know I mean it when I say you are a gifted writer, have good hold on vocabulary, have beautiful imagination and writing skills and know how to present your story in chapters, with each chapter being as engrossing and marvellous as its previous one... NJAPA has characters displaying an array of emotions thru various chapters that keeps a reader intrigued and waiting for the next...What else can a writer want when he/she can keep the readers guessing and on their toes...A perfect roller coaster ride in every chapter ...You know the pulse of your readers Lashy and that is surely a mark of a wonderful PROFESSIONAL writer...😳⭐️...Waiting for your next story/chapters...Even after NJAPA😳..."
"PS: NJAPA is perfect publishing material...😳"...This is just a start...and you have miles to go my very dear friend😳

NJAPA is my first FF after 2 to 3 years. I just got bored one day just started reading NJAPA FF as I like lashy beautiful writing on JA episodes.

The super rich handsome, intelligent man fall for a middle class Jo ( his junior) a smart, spunky, smart, sensuous, witty, self respected lady. 😎

It was a modern love story, first encounter of JJ in the college when JO nicknamed Jallu as The IPAD man ignoring him while Jalaal recalled her "Jodha..fearless" Their first encounters which is unusual turns friendship, to proposal & later into acceptance of their feelings. Their cute SMS, outings, birthday party, their first kiss & even their SR where you can see a mature love where there is only understanding, respecting & soul touching, their promise to stick with each other what ever storm they face..They have faced the storm in the form of STALKER, JO family disapproval, separation, and to the extent of near death but their love WON not only the respect & acceptance of family but also from the READERS, who feels it's a REAL TRUE EPIC LOVE STORY, where every reader & wants to have a LOVER like JJ in their lives. ⭐️

Love Jodha bonding with her family and her cut conversations with her parents and bhayyas, also with her best friends Payal & Meera..Jalaal gang Abdul, Maan, Renu, Salim and his bonding with them especially with Abdul & Renu who is very close to him. The warmth & love rant bond between Mother and son, aaliya, his dog (robby). The STALKER where everyone including me thought it's Abdul or Maan it turned into physio professor who truely deserve the punishment & still loved the way Jalaal was so seriously fighting in the court mercilessly..

Sharddha : 🤗

What I can say about her writing & her command on the story, the beautiful way she portrayed strong characters of JJ which are sensible. Even in their separation you feel for both of their love. You never question whose love is great, or love more ( as I read these comments in JA forum about JA love in show). I loved the translation in the characters little bit where JO knowingly it would be very difficult to convince her love, still couldn't able to stop thinking & loving him, while Jalaal even after first time rejection/ later JO breaking up their relationship, still waiting for her, dreaming she will come back to him, never didn't go after any other women (just like 99% happens in normal serial) but instead waited to hear from her guessed she left him because of stalker. Getting to know the STALKER name understand & feeling Maan & payal are innocent to tracing & playing the battle against the real STALKER alone and later keeping the strength and confidence won back his LOVE not only a supporting hand & shoulder to his love but also to her family.

A true realistic love story which is more than physical, a wonderful happy couple a true companion support & stand by each other in UPS & DOWN, happy & sadness phrases through out their lifes . ❤️

I just salute to the wonderful writing of Shraddha truely from my bottom of heart for giving me such a pleasure reading & experiencing a TRUE REAL LOVE STORY of two strong characters where you love both of them equally.. 👏

May GOD bless her and her family all her wishes and dreams come true .I would be waiting & hoping to read more FF or even SS from her soon. 👏🤗

Take CARE DEAR and ENJOY from your friend..

About NJAPA
Well, I don't know where to start...time has flown, and how!!! Can't believe it's already a year since this wonderful journey with NJAPA started off. Frankly, when this journey was just about to start, or even when the first part of NJAPA was up, I didn't have the slightest idea it would turn out to be this special to me and become such a wonderful part of my life!
I've said it before and I can say it a million times more that this is among the very few stories that I can make my own, touch my heart and stay in it forever...NJAPA is one of them! Starting off with 2 ordinary, yet magnificent characters JALAL n JODHA, this entire journey has been extraordinary...It has made me fall in love with Jalal n Jo-that has only increased with every passing moment, it has made me fall in love with their friends, especially Abdul, Meera and most shockingly Renu! And most importantly it made me fall in love with Jalal-Jo's love! I can go on and on writing paragraphs on this, but I just feel like leaving a line each to every character I've loved through this journey:

Jalal: Well, he's everything a girl can want, and beyond it..! He's not perfect, but I guess that's what attracted me the most to him..can't ever love him more than I have in this one year!!!

Jo: Dunno about others, but to me this girl has been an inspiration in so many ways! The courage, self-respect and her never-give-up attitude has made me love this girl way too much!

Abdul and Meera: Both together- amazing friends! Abdul is a gem, just HAD to love him...and so is Meera..only the lucky ones get such people as friends!

Renu: However rude and selfish she has been..which is more than once for sure...but I could never get myself to dislike her! She's one of the rare characters I've always felt like defending and I can go on n on about her ..Well, she IS definitely an amazing friend at the end of the day!

I deffo like many more characters, but these were the super-special ones!
All this while I've called NJAPA a journey...purely because of how close to my heart it has always been...it's a journey because it has made me laugh, do victory dances, blush profusely a million times, cry, celebrate, dream, curse, scared the shit outta me and in some way has brought out every emotion possible out of me! (It made a dog-disliker like me like Robbie and cry when he left us!)

With the completion of 1 year of this amazing journey today, I've said so much and can say a lottt more about NJAPA and my love for it..but nothing would suffice! So I guess all I can say to sum up all that I feel for it is "I LOVE NJAPA FOREVER N EVER!!! " It's gonna remain a very very special part of my life always!!
A message for Di
Once again I have to say time has flown!! It's more than a year I know you for now..and all these months I just got closer n closer to you..
I remember the 1-2 word comments I used to leave on SOME of your posts because I wasn't used to commenting at all, not to mention I had assumed you to be a serious kinda person so refrained from saying more than just a 'good post' or 'nice'...can't imagine that anymore!!
And one fine day the thread for South Indians I guess got us talking and there has been no looking back since then. I pestered you to come on WA and I'm so glad I did it...all those late nights we've had are irreplaceable!!!! And there's not ONE of these that's not had a discussion or a mention of NJAPA...it's been an every-night discussion!

And length of my comments just went on increasing...because once I started typing I could simply never stop, and for someone as lazy as me, it's an achievement in itself!!! It's wholly and solely because of you...every word of NJAPA shows that you've put your heart n soul into this creation and made it one of the most amazing stories I've ever read till date!!! I remember I used to refer to it as 'My NJAPA'...that's how much you've made me love it..

And there I go again, with my never-ending writing...can't seem to stop you know!

But I just wanna say...I absolutely LOVE YOU SHRADDHA AKKA!!!! This past year has made me know one of the most amazing, beautiful and sweetest people in this whole wide world...and that's you! LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH FOREVER AND EVER!!!

Jodha Akbar forum is a second home to me...It's because of the beautiful members who are a part of this family...and...the member with whom I bonded instantly is none other than 'lashy'...I am sure, several fellow members can relate to what I am saying...It all started with looking forward to the detailed analysis of the episode by the member named 'lashy'...the analysis captured my attention because they reflected the intelligence of the writer...after every episode, I use to rush to the forum to read lashy's point of view...and...every word was more than worth the wait...it was in these posts we first started to interact...slowly and steadily...few fun posts, few serious posts and few drooling sessions later...from fellow forum member we became friends...then sisters...in fact, lashy has been more than a sister to me...she is my trouble shooter, she is the person I turn to when I want to discuss something or want an advice...she is the one I turn to when I am happy and want to gab...she is all ears...a solid presence...that is why I call her 'Rockstar'...one very special quality of lashy is, she will always help you find the silver lining...she is a bundle of positive energy...

What do I say about her brilliance with words...? I believe that weaving a story is an art...lashy, is truly are an artist...All her works are special and I have enjoyed reading and re-reading them...OS- Her first glimpse of jalal in his war armour...I still wish we had such a scene in the serial...OS- 'because, you're you and I'm me...this one was written midst 'Mohan track'...we all were speculating how this track will unfold...and...lashy came up with this master stroke...The first comment said 'okay. Now, I want exactly this to happen'...I couldn't agree more...the makers handled the track differently but our member had beaten the show's creative team hands down...OSR SS- 'she hates me, she hates me not'...the war of wits...who won...??Akdha...jalal tending to jodha's wound...jodha's answer to the question posed by jalal...the beauty of the story was, in middle of the entire world they communicated volumes without a word being spoken...smiles, smirks and raised eyebrow were enough for this couple to talk to each other...

''Not Just A Passionate Affair"...the story is SPECIAL...the first update was almost an year ago and I hopped onto this roller coaster...it has been a memorable journey ever since...every update pulled me in a bit more and left me excitedly looking forward to the next update...this story is all about beautiful moments...rainbow of emotions...at some point the story was tragic...on other instances, it was happy...often, it was emotional and heart warming...but...one thing was constant and that was it's beauty...I could connect with the story from the word go...Jalal and Jodha...thank you for creating these characters...I have laughed with them...cried with them...and have been jealous of them...yup, who wouldn't be...? They are charming and adorable...they are honest and genuine...they are responsible and loving...they are the best...they are so realistic...their problems are what we also face in our lives...their dilemmas are similar to ours...they are one of us, they have risen above challenges and will surely get their happy ending...lashy, thank you...you gave us the world of NJAPA and i cherish every moment I have spent in the world of Jalal and Jodha...no words are enough to appreciate the magnificence of NJAPA...it's our story...

Princessnancy, kudos...!!!! You came up with the idea of this tribute and I thank you for including me in your plans...I wouldn't have wanted to miss this chance...it was a great thought...dear, well done!!!!

Dearest Shraddha,

My first memory of you is not of a friend but of a writer named Lashy who wrote daily analysis of JA esp. Akdha Scenes in uniqye style which I loved reading and still do. Then, when you start writing os and ss, I started reading them too. Unlike most readers who became your fan since NJAPA, I have been your fan since you wrote SS: She hates me, She hates me not. I LOVED it and loved four ss, too. I have all your stories bookmared in my ipad. I really do not have enough words to describe how awesome you are as an author. But, I will try it anyway. When you write, it seems the scene is playing live in front of you. It seems as if you are a professional writer. I had told you to start writing a book and I will be the first one to buy it. The best and unique thing about you as writer is the way you word a sentence as if you are playing with words. I mean that you just want to read it over and over again not just for the story but for that sentence alone. I had told you and selected several times- my fav. lines or sentences the way you worded in your stories. Another best thing is that you show romance and passion so sensually and without being explicit with visuals. You are one of my favorite author across all forums (actually JA forum has the best writers amonst all forums and I have read several ff in difft. forums). This was all about you as a writer. NOW, let me talk about you as a friend. I remember you are the first one on JA IF (actuallY IF )who actually invited me to friends on WA after we talked several times through PM. Then, you and Nams invited me to JA -Akdha/Parijat fan group who were also members on IF. Because of you, I made several other good friends on there. Shraddha, you are one of my closest friends on JA IF and one of the sweetest person I have ever known. I remember how we talked about all the things from our personal lives, family, stories, fav.lists esp. our common fav. Mads- dhak dhak girl, PariJat, worrying about Pari quitting rumors, Akdha, JA etc. As a friend, you are so helpful, sweet, mature and just in one word- such a sweetheart.I am so sorry that I have not been able to get time to chat with you on WA due to work and studies and esp. due to time difference. Muahhh and Lots of love and hugs.

Now, let me talk about NJAPA. As I had told you when you started NJAPA, that I did not used to read ff of JA based on modern times but only of 16ht century. I always commented on all your other os and ss but with NJAPA in starting, I used to just read and press like just becasue YOU wrote it .Otherwise, I won't have read ff of JA which was based on modern times. Then, after few chapters, I started getting interested in it and then got hooked on it from the chapter where Jalal and his gang visiyed Jodha's house first time. Then there was no looking back and also started writing comments from then onwards. Due to NJAPA, I started giving chance to other modern ff of JA and started reading few select other stories which were based in modern times. Now, NJAPA has become my fav. modern JA story. Jalal and Jodha of your NJAPA are one soul in two bodies. They are just perfect for each other. I would consider myself the luckiest girl in the world if I get this Jalal in my life and had asked you several times if I can have him or where can I find him? He is the Mr. Right. NJAPA is one of the best stories on IF and the best modern JA story. I know most of your readers love NJAPA most and I do love it too but your SS: she hates me, She hates me not will hold special place in my heart, too . When NJAPA is nearing its end, I feel very saddened by it and wish you continue more but I totally understand (although I am still hoping we get wedding, SR, pregnancy and twins before it ends).

Take care of your health and hope to see you bring another story on Akdha/PariJat when you get time after some months. But, health and coming soon to be lil lashy is the first priority.

Love ya. Muahhh.

For NJAPA

I vividly remember how I started reading NJAPA few months ago. I wasn't even much active those days. Since it was my vacation I was looking for something interesting to read. I was just going through different posts and I saw top 10 post column, I have been on IF since 2012 but my eyes never fell on the right side of the forum. I saw it and that's when I realize NJAPA was one of the popular threads in the forum. I have read FFs in the past from a different forum, they were nice but definitely not something I can get addicted to. I started reading NJAPA. It was on Sunday around noon I started and my whole day was spent in reading it. It read it till 4 in the morning, didn't want to leave it unfinished. But it's the time my mom wakes up so I had to sleep, but the first thing I wanted to do in the morning was to finish reading the story. I was waiting for my parents to go at work, so I could resume from where I left, if I would have read in their presence they sure would have asked something seeing my face's expressions and didn't want to get interrupted and also I like to read something I like when there's no one around... so... after each and every chapter I was excited to know what happens next. Jalal's charm and jodha's grace captured me totally, I read until I reached the last updated part, I don't remember exactly which part it was, since I get this same feeling of craving for the next one every time, but it was the one in auditorium I guess. And then I had to comment to make lashy update as soon as possible. That's how I started reading the story. jo- jalal are one truly inspiring couple. While reading the story, I so wished to be jodha. The one who is capable of winning everyone's love and who gets to be with the most passionate lover. Their love is simply pure , magical and desirable. The one thing I loved so much about the story is they knew how impossible it was for them to get together, but they never paid attention to the negative side, they always tried to built the chances for their love rather than weeping and counting the negative points... the love, the friendship, their college days, I would miss all of it. i'm short of words now...since I have told everything I felt in my comments, it would look repetitive if I write again and also really not good with the words. :P

The experience throughout is worth cherishing. I made some real nice friends who made my vacation so enjoyable, the fun discussion and chats and lots more. I had the best time mingling up with all bajaras. I love them as much as I love the story.

For my favorite writer... our dearest shraddha aka lashy

The only disappointment I got while reading the story is, why I didn't have the hardcopy of the story . :D not being cheesy nor exaggerating. ...You are a wonderful writer lashy. Even though it's your first attempt in writing this genre you nailed it. I would have never come to know about the hard work, if I wouldn't have read about the research you did before writing it. The reason why all of us loved the story is because you wrote it with love and dedication. Your writing makes sense, it's relatable and that's why we all got attached and addicted. Love with obstruction is very common but the reason it looked uncommon is your intelligent writing. You made the thread so interactive, answered to us all, had a perfect reasoning for each and every query of the readers. There is nothing in the story I didn't like. from the fonts to their size to the content of the story, you made it totally enjoyable to read and also made me a voracious reader. I'm so grateful to you and your story. it gave me memorable times. Never ever give up writing. you deserve plaudits for your work one hundred percent. I hope you get even more in future. Your story is the reason I come to JA forum. I hope after NJAPA also you will give me a reason to stay around. Well I'm sure banjaras will compel you to write once again.

Thank you so much & lots of love. muah

And last but not the least thank you so much nancy for making the thread and making me a part of it. :)

Part - I

When NJAPA came up, I wasn't much interested. Before that, I never could identify with the historical characters set in a modern setup. But the author's name was promising. I had read some short stories by Lashy. And I thought to give it a try.

But then right from the word Go, I fell for it, hook, line and slinker. It's not about romance. Frankly the story is pretty run of the mill, college campus romance. It's about characterization. This Jodha and Jalal never say or do anything that sounds phony. Always and always they are so natural, that you feel that it is quite possible. People like this do exist. Of course Jalal is tooo good to be true.

I think the characterization, the dialogues, the interaction between two, and the rest of the supporting cast is what make NJAPA unique. It is topped with Lash's crisp yet soft, dreamy yet practical, poetic yet pragmatic and most certainly romantic but not at all mushy way of writing. The lady has a way with words. And she is one of the best..

After reading NJAPA, I actually fell in love with Jalal all the way through. It sounds absurd. But this Jalal is the man every girl should have in her life. He's the real deal. And he is who you need to make life beautiful. Of course, he has found his most suitable match in Jodha. This girl next door is epitome of what I call Indian Woman. She is gorgeous , yes, but above all she is what I think every boy dreams about. Fiesty, smart, spunky, drop dead gorgeous, understanding, supportive, and what not. But for obvious reasons I'm in Jalal gang.

Since this story started last year, I have been following it like my life depended on it. I have made great big mistakes in office because of this. Once I walked out of a meeting cool as a cat to read an update. Other time, I agreed to an impossible thing in a meeting, just because I was surreptitiously reading an update. Just like all others, I've pestered Lash, for updates. I've debated endlessly with her on few aspects. I have admired as well as criticized the parts at times. But this story has made me stick with it right from the beginning. And I'm proud to be a NJAPAian.

I'm sad at a prospect of this coming to an end. See, it's not always about getting where you want to be. The journey matter a lot too. Jodha and Jalal are going to get to their happy ending. But their journey has been nothing short of a fairy tale so far. And I'm sad at the prospect of that fairy tale coming to an end. But then I tell myself, if it's a fairy tale, it's not going to end. It's going to be an ever after. Whether I get a weekly update or not hereafter, NJAPA is going to be with me, just like Cinderella or Snow White, for the rest of my life.

PART -II

NJAPA's charm is not just its story. But the main part is the author. Shradha.

I call her Judith Macnaught. Judith Macnaught, is a master of romance. Her heroes are strong, and heroines smart. Lashy, for me is a modern Judith Mcnaught.

I used to tell her, I have never waited for an installment of a story since Harry Potter. Honestly. It's all Lashy's credit. Her way of telling a story, is most appealing. The way she builds a world, let the drama unfold and let it all cultivate towards a climax, is nothing short of a gift. She is truly gifted. She should publish her work. I'm sure, she'd gonna make a very successful author.

More than her talent, I admire her attitude. In her long long threads, I have seen her replying to every single post quite warmly, sincerely. We at times, disregard her need of private time with our clamoring for an update. But I've never once seen her lose her patience. She just as warmly, sweetly replies to even the rudest demand. And that is the magic of Lash.

She has made my day to day life more beautiful because of NJAPA. And for that I'm most thankful to her.
