This punishment concept to show Akbar's justice is truly getting weird
First Akbar sent his walihaad to some lady's hut to stay with her and her injured son
That itself shall have profound impact on psyche of a child who is brought up in luxury
But now a segment shows Salim standing with beggars and taking ladoo to eat and blanket
Truly a crown prince and future shahenshah being shown doing all this?
I mean imagine if this had happened really it will break a grown up persons spirit
So what shall that do to a small child like Salim?
Is this truly a sazaa for an accident and running off from the place and lying
You are breaking a small innocent child's spirit and innocence
I will not be surprised if Salim holds a grudge on Akbar and Jodha now
No child shall forgive its parents if they undergo all this
When abul mali, sharifuddin, ruqaiah, maham, adham can be continuously forgiven for grave crimes like murder and attempted murder on a emperor what sort of justice is this on a innocent child who is not even street smart enough to survive on his own or understand others manipulations.
Did Akbar only get Salim an innocent defenceless child to show his free and fair justice?
If Salim was not his son would Akbar give such punishment? Never right So this is punishing Salim for being his son an emperor son.
Law should be equal is it not for a commoner and prince so why extra punishment for Salim for being a walihaad to set example?
Punishment should be in proportionate to crime and Salim does not deserve this kind of punishment at all
This first protector of a child is parents and if they only leave him unattended in some hut with a hostile people who are angry at them for hurting their child they shall not treat him nicely is a given fact.
Why Salim is on streets looking for food and blanket because he was not provided for by that old lady in house?
Now what else can he do apart from beg if he is hungry or ask for free blanket standing in beggar line if he feels cold at night.
Even today people below 18 years are put in remand homes not jail for even biggest of crimes.
Cvs should have some brains before showing any NR in their show what impact it has on small kids mind who are watching this NR. Now world will think Akbar was cruel and Salim was right in bhagawat.

After Chittor war Jalal was shown begging forgiveness to commoners and spending time feeding the poor. So he is expecting his son also to do the same, so Salim dressed like a beggar and waiting in line asking for alms is not a big issue, its a duty of future King to treat everyone the same. Prem you are forgetting, we need to start looking from the 16th century King's angle.

Now Jokes apart, I honestly dont now why CVS are doing this.

I have no issues with Jalal punishing Salim, but I wanted to see a bonding of Jalal Rahim in Jalal Salim. So how can we expect Salim not to be scared of his father.

Jalal was feeding people to remove his crime what was that? killing 30000 innocent civilians
What is Salim crime? Accidentally hitting a child who had illegally sneaked into a private shahi bhagh that belong to salim father. And then get scared and run off and lie when asked
Even in 16th century a king cannot punish disproportionate to crime because it involves his son is it not?
Akbar is not angry that Salim hit a boy by mistake he is angry for lying in DEA
Is that a big crime? If someone comes into anyone house illegally and they are practising shooting and get hit by gun will you arrest that guy saying why you were practising in your house? Or shall you catch the other person for trespassing once he is well?

Rightly said sindhu .My feel is cvs take everything to an extreme and have their own reasoning which none of us could comprehend. My take is they had did it all to bring in sa and give a reason of salim's estrangement from his parents and also at the same time bring in ruq and nadira closer to him.May be seeing his condition nadira might pity and help hima and he might also realize she is not that bad. Meanwhile there is a already a photo of ruq with salim in hut so definitely she is going to go and brainwash him and we will be left wondering y did we start watching and y we still have a ray of hope that things may get better 😉.
