Divyavm and Mandyg, . I have skipped the last 2 episodes as frankly this stupid storyline with kiddie romance was annoying and oh so boring.

But your posts compelled me to see the last part of this episode and oh WOW!!. Many have talked in superlatives about Rajat and I agree with everyone of them but I want to congratulate the CVs for an excellent message here. I work in healthcare and come in close contact with special needs kids and Adults. I very often find insensitivity and lack of support for these kids in India. Mahtab may be a fictional character but oh does she bring some much needed grace to this show. Mahtab is obviously very intelligent and has loads potential, I hope she continues to play an impt role in this Agra madhouse. The actor is also so much more talented than her younger sister , sassy Ms Anarkali 😕

Contrast this innocence of Mahtab with how they are portraying Poor Murad and Haider. I read on the forum that akbar did not even visit his other sons' stalls? What the heck are the CVs trying to prove here. And also is another leap going to come soon that will show an adult Salim ? Because I cannot believe they will show Ruqs giving a child opium ...that's too sick a thought even for Balaji Ent.

One last thought, how can they devote an entire episode to a mindless Meena Bazaar, while they condensed pilgrimage to chisti, conception, Jodha pregnancy, Salim's birth...all in one episode????

Yes, it was an amazing scene ... and as you said it was the thought that was more special .. i have a brother with special needs so this matters all the more

CVs always spend weeks on NR and one day on something meaningful 😆

I just couldn't resist ... lovely lovely scene ... to show how Jalal did not discriminate based on gender, his own children / vs. his sister's, or disability ...

So a quick take 5 on a beautiful 5 minutes:

- Jalal's sharp observation ... the growing disappointment on Mahtaab's face as she cannot explain the rules to the woman ... and he decides to take things in his own hands ... and even stops Bakshi Baano from interfering as he approaches the stall

- Jalal's animated sign language that she should explain the rules to him ... and her reciprocating with equal excitement with the rules

- Jalal's transformation into a keen archery expert for a moment ... with eyes only on the target(s) and he hits 5 in one stroke ... and the excitement of the victor as he asked for his prize

- The lone tear that appears as he sees Mahtaab getting him the Quran as he is touched by the gift ... what a beautiful nuance

- The beautiful blessing that his Mahtaab was special ... even above Salim ... and buying all the things in her stall at Meena Bazaar

What a beautiful scene! Again, CVs ... a diamond in the rough. 👏 And Rajat always a diamond. And Mahtaab a new gem found today.

As he says...not 5 but 10...
And the 4 and a half minutes deserve a take 10.

-His telling mahtab that he came to buy something from her in the stall and she bought him

-his action and expression as he says 'aapka dil paak hai'

-his expressions and actiond that conveyed sorrow for the disability of the child and the pride that she is pure and smart inspite of her disability.

-what that conveys about him as a person- the understanding he has about the finer feelings of even those who could not express theirs

-the morpankh that mahtab added to The Quran that showed how much the neice inspite of her disability has understood her Mamujaan .

The cvs surpass our expectations sometimes and then let us down awfully at others...
