So a quick take 5 on a beautiful 5 minutes:

- Jalal's sharp observation ... the growing disappointment on Mahtaab's face as she cannot explain the rules to the woman ... and he decides to take things in his own hands ... and even stops Bakshi Baano from interfering as he approaches the stall

- Jalal's animated sign language that she should explain the rules to him ... and her reciprocating with equal excitement with the rules

- Jalal's transformation into a keen archery expert for a moment ... with eyes only on the target(s) and he hits 5 in one stroke ... and the excitement of the victor as he asked for his prize

- The lone tear that appears as he sees Mahtaab getting him the Quran as he is touched by the gift ... what a beautiful nuance

- The beautiful blessing that his Mahtaab was special ... even above Salim ... and buying all the things in her stall at Meena Bazaar

What a beautiful scene! Again, CVs ... a diamond in the rough. 👏 And Rajat always a diamond. And Mahtaab a new gem found today.

Did you notice that Mahtaab gave a Mor Pankh along with the Holy Quran to her Maamujaan. This was indeed sheer brilliance by the CVs ((a rarity these days)
Hats off to Rajat and Mahtaab for their expressions 👏

After the leap, first time felt I saw a heart rending scene which brought tears in my eyes and makes me want to see it again and again.
😊😊
CVs are definitely capable of churning out beautiful episodes, however, they choose to bring out only negativity even in extremely positive situations. They are using their creativity only for glorification of negativism.

Beautiful Divi.
Mamujaan was such a sweety.

Like I said in Mandy'd thread, it's his tears that stole my heart.

Psst - When Rajat was talking signs to Mahtab, I was like does he know classical dancing or what, that stuff belongs in nritya natika, because, it wasn't the sign language we see in News for the deaf on Doordarshan.

Your post - 👏

Hehe Raksha, the sign language we see in News today is a very contemporary development - did they even have a sign language in the 16th century ???? - this scene actually gets kudos for having ensured this mistake from happening !!!!! Waise agar iss detail ke baare mei yeh CVs soch sakte hain toh baaki waqt inko kya ho jaata hai ?????????

Yes, his hands make me imagine SUCH dirty things. The boy has beautiful, beautiful hands. All lean, white & clean. ☺️

His tears stole my heart too. Also that gentle, love-infused way of talking to Mehtaab. ❤️

Oh yes it is!! Every time I don't, which is an usual happening because I just want to write down what I've thought of a particular scene or the episode, she always, always reminds me that I don't mark her posts with a Like. 😆 so thought I must let her know that the deed is done! 😆

Your DP is BEAUTIFUL.

Meena Kumaari looked her most beautiful in Pakeezah. I wish I could steal all her jewellery & clothes, they were breathtaking!

P.S. You always have beautiful DPs! I don't even find Meena Kumaari beautiful, but she looked soo beautiful in this movie! Must be all that lovely jewellery & jewel-toned heavy clothing. 😆

Thanks Trips!
I just watched Pakeezah last week, and I loved it. Meena Kumar's jewelry was really beautiful, so were the clothes. Truth to be said, I watched the movie because of the songs, and loved it for the class it exuded.

P.S: Meena Kumari's feet were beautifully adorned. 😳

Oh then this scene must be extra-special to you. Maybe that's why you wrote it so well, Divi. 🤗
