CHAPTER 3

Moti just came to know about jodha suicide.the moment the maids told her the news she rushed to jodhas room.

JODHAS ROOM

As soon as moti entered her room she saw a lifeless and pale jodha alying on the bed.she rushed to jodhaas side and tears were continuously flowing from her eyes.she shouted at the unconscious jodha"why jodha why...u had promised me that you will keep your courage on..then nnow what happened...what happened to my fiery rajput princess...plss jodha plss open your eyes.."after saying this she broke down into a deep cry.there was no one to comfort her by telling that jodha would be fine...there was no one to pray with her for jodha.

She wiped her tears and started moving towards the kahna mandir.but on the ways her eyes got struck on jalal who was sitting in a corner.and the moment she saw jalals face her anger rose to the peak.jalal had tears in his eyes.moti walked towards jalal and said raising her voice"wow!!what am I seeing...am I dreaming?or is this my hallucination..are you the same jalalludhing mohhammed who once told that jodha is just a winning trophy of yours..answer me!!"her questioning to jalal was brought to an end by ruqqaiyya voice"gustakh...do you know whom you are speaking to...you are just a maid in jalals harem and that maid is shouting at jalal.mark my words moti I will teach you a lesson for the way you talked with jalal."u said it wrong ruqqaiya begum...am not a maid now..am jodhas friend and sister.and if shahanshah doesn't like his talk then let him tell...why are you interfering ?"moti screamed at ruqqaiya.seeing jodha inn this condition moti forgot all her limit coz she knows that these people are the reason for jodhas suicide."am interfering as am jalals first and favourite wife"the egoistic ruqqaiya said..."let it be ruks...can u plss shut up...atleast now ,when someone is lying in her death bed..plss"a broken jalal pleaded ruks.

"its not just me talking...even moti is talking right!"ruks asked jalal."ruqaiya but moti have a reason to scream...what she said is true...why am I crying when it bcoz of me jodha did this."jalals and ruqaiya talk was brought to an end by the hakima sound."shahenshah...jodha begums health is becoming normal.she is breathing normally now.thanks to allah".a smile appeared in motis n jalals face.rahim who waoted till now had fallen asleep listening to their arguments."shahanshah if you don't mind,can I talk you alone.i wanna say a important thing"moti requested jalal."ok lets go out and talk"jalal replied."no jalal don't go alone with her.you cant trust her"ammijan told jalal."ammijan if they wanted to harm me then they should have done it before.and am not going out of the palace.soldiers are there around me...and salima begum you stay with jodha its my order."salima agreed as it was his order and hamida banu gave a disappointed nod.

Hamida banu and salima never hated jodha.they always feared whether jodha would do something to jalal.and this fear turned into unlikniness but not hatred.and their doubts always increased when they felt that jodha is keeping some secret from them.and the secret jodha kept from them was the matter moti is going to tell jalal.

IN JALALS ROOM

JALAL:"moti..what is the matter you want to talk about?"

MOTI;"shahanshah its about jodha.its about some things u never knew before.some things jodha always kept away fromm you people".

JALAL:"whatever it is just finish it off..n ya can we sit somewhere?"
moti nodded and they both sat in the couch opposite to each other.

MOTI:"shahanshah.jodha is not the same as u see.she seems to be happy but inside she doesn't have even pinch of happiness."

JALAL:"what do you mean?"say it clearly"

MOTI:"Now to listen to what am saying.."then she narrated how jodha was hated by everyone in amer.how she dreamed of getting parental love from he in laws.how much she loves to be loved.and finally about JODHAS dreams of spending some quality hubby wife time with JALAL.

Jalal was heartbroken with guilt after listening to her.moti ran out of the room as she was not able to control her tears that flowed when she thought about the flashback with jodha.moti and jodha were childhood frnds,so she knows jodhas feelings well!!

Jalal was confused with his own mind.why does he feel so much about jodha?why does he always think about her after their marriage?is it called love?with all these questions in his mind he walked to the dargah located in the palace.

PRECAP:jodha gains conciosness and jalal talks with her!
