Caught the episode online after reading LU, I understand Jalal's pain and his reasons for distancing, his anger, his devastation, but kya karoon it hurt , really hurt when he said that line to Jo.
But you know what, when he stopped Ruk from coming between him and Jo- that said it all. Chahe kitna distance ho, chahe kitna time Guzar jaye, blame or no blame, Jallad or no Jallad - what Jo is to him, no Ruk can ever be.

But phir bhi yaar, dil toot Gaya mera to hear that line from Jalal.

If she wanted the same why she followed him to his room. Who drew the curtain? In Taalsh movie Amir started distancing himself from Rani. They both were in pain. But on of them became more bitter. Amir was not able to overcome his sorrow. Rani could have helped him but he refused her help. Here we have to agree that they both are in great pain. But Jalal initiated this distance unfortunately. Jo would have blamed herself for that night but Jalal could have consoled her & they both would have overcome this sorrow. But one of them thought distance is the solution & when she saw his reaction...she did the same. Again I m not blaming him. He wanted to be old heartless Jalal to avoid further pain which is a result of the existence of his heart but we have to accept that Jalal initiated it.

No Adi, Jodha blamed herself but she didn't distance herself from him out of guilt otherwise she wouldn't have gone to him to console him. Jalal started distancing himself from her. She tried again. Do you remember the scene where she did pranam to him but he didn't respond. I agree Jodha was feeling guilty but she didn't distance herself from him. She wanted to be his strength this time but he refused her help. I m not blaming him. I know he's in pain but please wrong interpretation mat do.

I agree with you neha, Jo went to Jalaal to console him when he is crying in the rain, after Jalaal said about that night also she followed Jalaal, but Jalaal closed curtain.. Later also JO did pranam , but Jalaal just couldn't see her nor respond her.. Jo tried to be with him, she is just looking at him, while he didn't...

Charu agar poori baat ko dhyan se suno toh dil tootha nahin, ro padhta - he was not blaming her but finding out what she was thinking and when he realised that she blamed herself for being with him - watch the way he walked back - it was a man defeated and that was why he pulled the curtain so that he could be away from her for her to stop her self blame

I agree with Adi here.
The way he looked at her as she wept for Hussein - it wasn't the same as for Hassan. There was self-blame guilt written on her face more than the desperation and grief. If they were to ever get closer, the memories of the night would haunt them both. What used to be magical had turned into a nightmare for them. With this wall of guilt between them, the innocence of love was lost, not just for Jodha but Akbar too. Not the fault of either, but destiny.
Ela such wounds are hard to heal. People shutting themselves is the most natural reaction. One of my school friends once so much insisted that she wanted to see a movie and persuaded her parents to book the tickets (no e-booking then). Both her parents met with an accident and passed away. Years have passed but she never sees movies even now. None of us ever discuss about films in her presence. She never insists for anything from anyone. Self-guilt can eat you away from within. They create scars that even time cannot heal. Jalal and Jodha are in the same phase. Even Jodha has not made any advancements. today even if she came out to insist the anuchith-ness of the war, it was more out of her convictions of right and wrong, than an attempt at normalcy.😭

Agree with everything, except the last line...please Jo ko Kuch mat bolo, despite her pain she did go to Jalal after hassan's funeral, even after Jalal said those words to him, she tried to follow him to his roof, before he closed the curtains on her. She did try being normal with him, but he for whatever reasons did not reciprocate...and I get his pain and sorrow, and his reasons for this distance, but when Jo when to him regarding war , it wasn't time to be normal, he was leaving for battle ground, harly a time for normal chit chat.

I didn't lyk jalal blaming jodha..evn if they didn't spend d n8 together d baby will b killed by zeenat..so d real culprit was ruk who didn't allow jo near d baby n didn't allow her to feed him..so d real culprit was ruk her zidd, her obsession to muz was d real reason..instead she was scotfree..n she was blaming jo..like salima n hamida begum defending jo n evn d scene where jalal made ruk shut her mouth was awesome!!..rest episode was gud..but the blame put by jalal on jo was really painful..i was literally crying..hope aftr this there is a ruk bhandafod n jalal realizes that it was bcoz of his chilhood frnd he lost his baby..otherwise this track is a waste n can't b called an epic love story anymore!:'(

That's what I m saying Abhi. When Hasan died, Jo became weak & Jalal supported her. Here Jalal is not able to handle this loss. He thinks distance is the solution. Jodha tried to approach him but when she saw his reaction her own self-blame got strong & she did the same what Jalal was doing.

Neha ek baar phir uss scene ko dhyaan se dekho aur poori baat ko suno - Jodha went to him but she was not there emotionally since she was blaming herself for having spent that night with him in love - he drew the curtain to keep himself away from her becoz he considers his loving as the worst that he could do to his loved ones - he pulled that curtain so that she would remain safe - yes they both dont realise that they need each other to heal - but then that is what they need to learn

I heard poori baat, I know it not blame he was seeking affirmation that she dint blame herself or him, but can't help it Adi, mahaul hi aisa tha, in that state of mind do you think Jo would have read between the lines, and even if they did blame themselves, they could've have overcome this blame together naa... In such circumstance our mind can sway, instead of seeking togetherness, they sought distance - who started it, who didn't , doesn't matter - Jo JA toh door ho Gaye naa...Itna mush kill waqt akele toh dono ko karna pada na...
