Jodha stayed true to her character, of course she was questioned by the commoner lady , that how will she understand poor peoples problems when she lives in a Palace. Ruks as usual was objecting to everything and interfering between JJ. I love you Jodha for not stooping down to Ruks.

Jalal discussed with his finance minister and decided not to abolish Jaziya law due to financial issues. He needed time. At the same time he did not want JO to loose as well. Love you Jalal, I always had faith in your love for JO.

Tomorrow JO may get to know that her decision in giving one of her child to Ruks could be wrong. What will happen then?

I loved today's episode! It was good because of its simplicity! We saw different characters in different lights today.

The first aspect of today's episode was Jodha's want for Jaziya to be abolished, as that was when there would be true equality. She was true and justified in this want, and fought saying that she should pay it too. We saw a strong Jodha today, who acted as a messenger to convey to Jalal the shortcomings of this unfair tax.

Second aspect was we go to see a Jalal who actually contemplated over the matter. it was not just blind listening and acting. In a majority hinu empire a majority of his income would be through this tax. So that contemplation added some reality to the matter.

Third was Birbal's spunk. Man that guy has got something in him. He is very appealing and you do really get that comical-intellectual feel from him. He has that zazz in him which is pefect for his character.

And last was the precap, finally a sign that Jodha is repenting for her decesion of giving one baby to Rukaiiya. She has now realized the possibilty of Relegious Indoctrination that Rukaiiya will be nurturing if she completely ignored the part hindu origins of the child. Jodha's eyes will finally be opened abour Ruk's upbringing of the child.

My only wish was that we got some Akdha scenes right now, since Jo has just given birth. 😳

I think Jodha knew that this law will not be overturned so easily just on her asking. See the truth is only when the victims of any system take up the matter is there any change. Here who can dare to say to Shehenshah about removing Jaziya. Even Todarmal and Maan Singh could not have. Did you notice the look Maan Singh and Jodha shared when the woman talked about what being Hindu she has to face. Jodha clearly understood the woman's pain the way no Mughal would have. Cos the one who is hurting knows the pain.

Jodha even being a Shehenshah's Khas Begum is considered second class citizen due to her religion so her feeling pained is natural. Jodha by saying she is defeated won Hindu stung Jalal. I guess he remembered the circumstances of their marriage and how Jodha might be hurting about second class treatment. This is why he was remembering her words, he can never let Jodha think she is defeated.
