Agree with lines in bold. Actually Jodha had a reason to take up this issue since only she can understand the hurt behind it. Jodha did not force Jalal into any decision but she stood firmly for and as Hindu.

I would love if Jodha throws wifey tantrum!

I WISH Jalal and Jodha get irritated with Ruk and SOON.

yeah I read dikshas post just now..
And really if we think in these lines..it will be awesome
You know maddy now all the characters around jalal are strong and the story is well balanced..
This can elongate the serial life as well as a love story..
See if only love is shown..then the track will be a short one.
Then isnt it a good idea to take a political issue and merge it with love story. .
loved jodha as a spunky queen and jalal as a righteous king..
And in the whole episode the entire awaam knows the nobility of their king..
He respects the religions and rules in an equal way to all.
So jodha decided to obey the law.
Jalal himself is not convinces about this and so are TM and maansingh
They are looking for a way out..
And yes a few more intrusions from rukku jalal will get irritated like hell from her..and snubs her
And I want a bolder jo telling ruuku to keep herself away while she is with her husband.

Aadhya wonderful post. I especially loved your description of Birbal. He has this spunk certainly.

Yes Jalal had to think of the financial implications but Jodha was also right. Cos she as Hindu faced the discrimination. Only when she said defeated won Hindu then Jalal understood her pain.

I hope Jodha starts to rethink her decision of giving baby to Jodha. Ruk will not be liberal parent at all.

Thanks Maddy! Feels great coming from you. 😃

If this track is well played out we will see the interplay of Birbals and Todarmals talent under the vision of Akbar. This track has major scope to show us insights on how important decesions were made at a time when wealth was the only way a monarchy could run sucessfully. We will get to see the situation from both an administorial and familial/cultural point of view. Since this is a matter that effects the monarch as well as the people. If well executed we can see some great political work where Birbal solves the situation using his wit, and its effects are neutralized by Todarmal's tactical prowess. We will get to see some great durbar drama.

This is the time I would like to see some Jalal self talks about relegion from his perspective. The real Akbar was an eccentric man and certain situations pushed to establish Din-I-Ilahi. So now would be a great time to show him contemplating on the divisional effects that relegion has. It would be great to see him edge towards something more united.

Since Birbal's entry has happened hopefully we can see his inclusion in this baby drama too because whether the baby survives or not, it will not get the right bringing up under Rukaiiya. Hoping to see some great drama, Just hope that CV's dont mess it up by giving us some unrealistic story.

The moment I saw the entire Agra crowd (Hindu), I started laughing and was imagining Jalal's facial expression and he didn't fail me. But I was expecting only the shock & surprise but Jalal went a step ahead and felt sad for his people.
See, even I was thinking in those lines only. The thing is none of the Haremwasis are aware of the Hindu crowd who are ready to get converted. I don't think all of them were there to get converted but had come based on Birbal's request. He would have asked them to come there in the similar way he had asked Jalal to call the DEK. In the DEK he may ask Jodha about her not following the rule to the core and an aghast Jodha will ask what he meant by saying that and he will say "Its good and understandable that you paid the tax for your self as you are a Hindu but what about your kids even they have hindu blood in them and she may say, I will pay for my kids which will irk Ruqu and we have seen the precap. Later Birbal may say, but even that kid has Hindu blood and Ruqu may say, so what? since she is it's mother and a Muslim, her child will also be a muslim and just because of the blood he will not be Jodha Begum's child and she may talk about the farman as well. At this moment he may say, OK, if a Hindu child become Muslim just because its mother is Muslim, then the whole sultanate is Muslim as the king is the father of all his subjects and since Jalal is Muslim, so the whole nation is to be treated as Musalman and hence there is no need for any to pay the Jaziya which may checkmate Ruqu as well as all the maulvis over there.

Further he may continue and talk about what if all the Hindus of the sultanate gets converted to Islam, who will pay the tax then and how will the treasury filled? Since he has already given a piece of info to Jalal to think while they were at Justice scale, that for a king all are equal, Jalal may decide to levy the tax on all his subejects irrespective of Hindu & Muslim, so the burden will be reduced on Hindus as the tax will be shared by Muslims who are in majority at Sultanate.
This may lead to the precap of Wednesday, where Ruqu was mentioning about keeping her child away from Jodha to avoid the boding between the two, but in reality she may be thinking of the effect of Hinduism on her child as well.

Jaya wonderful post. I loved the points in bold. Yes I think Birbal might ask Q to Jodha first challenge her to pay for her kids and she will agree and this will start the entire discussion.

I also feel Ruk will want to raise the baby only her way and Jalal and Jodha both would want liberal upbringing. We have got scenes of Jodha learning Koran and Jalal quoting from Bhagwad Gita. Jalal even wanted one Rajvanshi name for the babies.

This might further make Jodha and Jalal realize the folly of agreeing to give one child to Ruk.

Peepu agree with each and every word.
Both Jodha and Jalal were right from their POV and no law gets changed till someone raises the reasons it needs to, especially long existing one.

I hope they give us more such tracks which are merging political, religious and also personal.
For Jalal especially both his sons upbringing will matter most.

Last line how I wish Jodha tells Ruk not to talk between husband and wife!

Aadhya another wonderful post 👏👏👏
I just loved the bold lines in blue and especially the underlined ones. How wonderfully you have written about the vision of Akbar brought into effect by Birbal and Todarmal. Even a great leader needs sounding boards and trusted confidants and their views to match. It can give us some great Darbar drama and wonderful political tracks.

I hope this entire next week is positive and Ruk downfall happens!
