Khushi, Birbal entry actually confirms the long jump - this will be in 1564 - aur uski entry ke baad kya dikhayenge ??? - time ko pause toh kar nahin sakte - and 1565 was jaunpur revolt, 1566-67 was chittor and 1568 was ranthambor - jisme se kuch bhi nahin dikhayenge - and then comes 1569 and Salim - till here 8 of the 9 ratnas are there and then 1574 we see the last navratna entry of Fazl and Rahim's coming of age - I am now very sure season 1 will end by early November - these cvs cannot write humour and there is already an Akbar - Birbal show running which is a parody - and this show is about Akbar and Jodha jisme yeh sab sirf naam ke waaste hain - just to show passage of time.

Well, my dear Khushi, I seem to be even more woefully ill-informed than I thought I was, for I had no idea that Birbal was in the works.

But I am not getting too excited about the prospect, for the writers here have a positive genius for mucking up even the most promising tracks. And if the casting for Birbal is as bad as it was for Tansen, and his jokes are as limited as Tansen's musical offerings, there would hardly be anything to write home about.Let us wait and watch.

2 incidents that are from history and shd feature in show -

Akbar's genuine love and friendship for Birbal is attested by two incidents. Akbar was very fond of chowgan (modern day polo). During one such game, Birbal fell off his horse and was knocked unconscious. Akbar got down from his own horse and personally brought Birbal back to consciousness.

Another time, when Akbar was watching the fight between two wild elephants, one of the elephants went to attack a servant standing nearby. Halfway, the elephant changed his mind and ran after Birbal. He was about to strike Birbal when Akbar with the intention of saving his friend brought his own horse between the elephant and Birbal. The spectators were aghast and a cry went into the air. The elephant stood still overcome by the majestic courage. Akbar's uncommon venture was a great feat and there could be no greater test of his sincerity, love and friendship for Birbal.

Adi my friend, I'm 100% sure you actually mean that these are 2 incidents which u would wish to see in our show...😆

N I'm sure you also mean that they may NOT actually be from history 😉

Khushi dear,

Why should they not be from history? Both of them look very credible to me. Unless, you imp, you are pulling Adiana's leg!😉
