Well this just seeing the negative side of the story,
You better read then krishna's reply to Gandhari .
I don't want to go in detail as this goes off topic.
As far as Christ is concerned ,he was crucified but he took all the sins of his people on him.
And the death of H and H doesn't have to do anything with curse .This is all NR .
And a woman like Ruku who wants to snatch another woman's baby and wants to use it for her own vested interests ,doesn't deserve any emotions or love from anybody .
Whether she is curcified or not ,she has to pay for all her actions ,either here or up there.

Wonderful post Maddy ( what's new?)

The comments are great. Enjoyed reading all POVs. Based on the discussions, I will watch all epis except the Friday one. Don't have the patience to watch Jalal's lori and huhuhu-ing.

I also feel that JJ deserved an apology from MA. They did the right thing...they were kind and let her die with dignity. On the other hand, MA stayed true to her character till the end. I refuse to believe her claims that she committed all those crimes out of her love for Adham. . Not even on her deathbed, did she have the courage or the dignity to accept the truth. She did what she did for herself...her ambitions...her greed for power. By putting the blame on Adham and his jealousy ...or on her dedication for her job as Jalal's dai, she revealed another aspect of her complex personality. She loved herself more than she ever loved Adham...or Jalal. She was a bad influence on both of them. Luckily, Jalal had buffers like Atagah in his life. Adham did not have that advantage . So he turned out to be a product of a very poor upbringing by a selfish, cunning, overly ambitious and psychopathic woman. A lot of crimes she committed had nothing to do with Adham's welfare ( not Jalal's either)...but she chose not to accept that. Rather justified her sins as acts of a mother who was trying to balance her love for her two sons...What crap!!!!! Only a sick mind could use the excuse of the purest form of love, a mothers love for her child, to justify murders, backstabbing, conspiracy and treason.

So why would she apologize to Jalal? When her own mind selfishly believes that the reasons she hurt Jalal were " justifiable". Jalal took her away from Adham, so she tried to be fair and tried to get something ( read...everything) in return for Adham. People who feel sorry for their acts have to have some amount of humane streak in them...MA lacks that.

A part of me is happy that she didn't apologize or reveal her crimes. It would have redeemed her to some extent. Shown her to be a magnanimous person that she wasnt. She was a woman unworthy of Jalal's love and respect and should be remembered as that. I am not saying that she didn't love Jalal...but not more than she loved her position in the Mughal empire. She was extremely proud of being Shehensha's Badi Ammi...even at the time of her death, she didn't get over it. She didn't want to be remembered as Jalal's dai who was punished for backstabbing him...but as a "mother" who was a part of Shehensha's heart. She didn't ask for Adham's shamsheer, painting or a sovienier...She didn't warn Jalal about confirmed backstabbers like Ruk and SD. Instead, the death wish of her dying, delirious yet still selfish mind was the title of Badi Ammi and the respect/perks that came with it.

Thanks Cleo. What a wonderful post. I think your post is the entire essence - of what MA was.
Jalal and Jodha were extremely magnanimous with her and gave her a dignified end.
The contrast was so stark - Jalal was gracious and loving and chose to remember only the good times, while MA till the end remained a bandi with no class, even till her dying breath it was all ME ME ME. I did all this for Jalal, I did this to Adham, I want this, I cursed, since Jodha brought Jalal to me in return I MA take back my curse!

MA did not say a single time Jalal gave me so much love, Jalal gave me more respect than his own mother, Jalal has been a wonderful son.

That was the most horrible dialogue of all - hum bhi MA hai kuch udhar nahi crap. She just wanted to look good in everybody's eyes even on deathbed was playing her glorious mother act. It was all an act, cos if she had really loved Jalal - she would never have murdered his unborn children, would not have done what she did to Ruk. Forget political stuff she murdered his unborn children and harmed Ruk horribly.

A woman who did not accept any blame or remorse or forget confess, but did not have the decency to just say to Jalal I caused you pain and regret that.

Did she tell HB to take care of Javeda? No she said to take care of Javeda cos of Adham's baby!
Javeda was her d-in-law who is 1000 times better person than MA could ever have been, did she say a thing to and about Javeda who is her real family? No she wanted a glorious death with Jalal holding and singing to her!

Was not written for negativity, just to state the fact. What can scath the great Lord? He accepted it still.
In NR maybe shown as curse, but in histoy too they were dead soon. It was this sad part that I tried to share. They could not live long to be great unfortunately despite great parents.
And to clarify, I meant to say that Ruqaiyya the evil is waiting to crucify the innocent children.

Rashmi this is very interesting comparison.

LOL, this is your way of trying to look at something positive! Really appreciate that.

Krishna's parents had no choice and Christ too. Here a Begum of Shehenshah who is going to give him much longed for long awaited waris - surely she should not have to give birth like this.

I am sure they will somehow show something to justify it turn the story. Still, it will be done for THEIR way of story telling not cos it is how it happened!

I don't know wat to say to these cv's of ja , y they r hellbent on showing jodha in critical situation all time , even they r not sparing her in her first pregnancy 😕
Atleast they can show minimum of 2-3 episodes of their happy life like talking to their babies , some pampering of her 😳 😆 but no they r more obsessed with their bek n MA so that they can whole week to them n their saazhishes but not to our leads 😡 😡 😡
Yeh Toh haad hey yaar 😭

Line in bold, whoever has seen that sbb thing is horrified. This is the only reaction I have heard, read after watching the clip.

I agree with each word of yours, no they cannot show any positivity - horrible torture way of delivery and esp of a Begum of Shehenshah.

We watch for Jodha and Jalal and CVs cannot think beyond their MA & Ruk.
We saw an example of how they think in yesterday's episode.

What is upsetting about the curse to everybody I guess is that it was given by a horrible murderer and she committed so many sins herself. To give so much importance to her curse is like indicating that no matter what MA did in her life, since she cursed something bad will happen to babies.

If they had shown curse and then nothing happened to babies curse did not work would have been different impact.

Here since we know that the twins did not survive - what is going to be the impression? Either someone will harm them or if they pass away it will be thought due to the curse.

This is spreading superstition, which is exactly not needed in today's times.

Now I am going to take Rashmi's side to say that the great Buddha was born in a similar manner.
But, I am with you Maddy's on the point you are making. The CVs have control on Jodha's children birth and for a change, just for single simple change can't they grant Jodha some happy incidents too. Because she is the lead, is she destined to always go through troubles and fight her case out always? CVs can have some mercy on us.
