khushi in regards to glorifying jodha yet again by her going to meet maham in jail is also what was shown in the movie...not exactly the same but she did acknowledge her goodness and apologized before her death to jalal and that is what they are exploiting dramatizing in the show as well!

I was glad to see that the Mods, or to be precise, one Mod, has defended you stoutly. As for your post, my take is the same as that I had posted on Mandy's thread. I do hope they do not attempt any such thing. Mark my words, it will be far worse than what we have now, and much closer to the standard saas-bahu format, only here it will be sasur-bahu.

Plus, they cannot make a Salim-Anarkali story an extension of Jodha-Akbar, and if they change the storyline so drastically, their core JA audience, which loves Rajat or Paridhi or both, will quit. I will, for one.

These days, the only show I look forward to, other than the rerun of 24 (which I had not seen the first time around) which ends in 4 days, is Airlines, at 9 pm every Sunday on Star Plus. Centred on a female pilot, it has so far been good fun, with 4 episodes gone. Every Sunday night, I thank Mandy for recommending it to me!
