I want to write about Leap..

For me JA is simply JA, and nothing else...I have been so much engrossed in Jodha and Akbar, and i have devoted so much of my resources(not only monetary but otherwise also) that i have no words to tell you... I will be really heart-broken if they skip those well defined tracks from real life events...If they introduce the CRAP CALLED Salim-Anarkali , i think this serial is bound for a doom.!!. I will "lose interest" in REEL JA...S-A will NOT do any good..It will reduce the space for Akbar and Jodha..

I do not know the reasons for LEAP (if any)...But only passion can not be the reason for a Leap.. Majority of Audience(here and out of our forum also) are quite happy with the 'kind of passion' the CV's are depicting...TRP's are more or less same...There is SO MUCH to show, in JA..I do not know why are the makers skipping these tracks...Perhaps, they can not afford to show all the wars of Akbar, and esp some "dreaded" wars, like Chittor, etc. This is what my hunch is...Why can't they show those trips of Jo-Ja to Ajmer , etc.?. They are skipping that Empire expanding period..Why.?. They are totally leaving that MP track and Chittor, etc...They are "quite nicely" leaving these incidents from Akbar's life and focusing on other aspects, that too by making it ULTRA-positive.!!!. But Now, slowly, of late, they are portraying ONLY one version/shade of Akbar...And, this is the reason i see for the Leap, for they can not afford to show that Brutal Empire expansion period.. I want them to show HIM not as a SAINT, but Like an Emperor , who can be as brutal as ANYTHING and KIND as well .!!.

For Ex: Akbar took title of Zil-e-Illahi after 1584..But here he is shown to have this title since 1562..!!!!..He threw away the power of Maulvis in 1578-79, but here they have shown it too early...!!!!!!!!..
They have preponed his reforms, barring slavery/Pilgrim Tax...CV's are skipping those cruel wars and are not able to balance the scales in depicting the shadeS of Akbar..The budget is one of the reasons, but i do not agree that it is the sole reason...

Akbar was Tedha , but not like this..If you have seen the Nur Jahan serial of DD, you will understand..That was Akbar and that was Jodha...I do not see an inch of Tedha-ness in present Akbar of our serial.!. I saw a glimpse of Jodha i concluded , in previous week, after MA's Curse..

It was the initial episodes of J-A where i saw Tedha Akbar, and a FIERCELY strong Emperor.!. There also the CV's HAD focused on the Human Side of Akbar but it was Balanced with the Political Machinations.!.


Anarkali - is a totally fictitious story... Salim was not Akbar BUT he was not a zealot also...He embibed many good qualities from his parents...He revolted for different reasons...Instead of dispelling that misconception, the PH/Ek is re-enforcing it...They can show, that after Akbar if anyone surviving was "somewhat" tolerant, then it was Salim..Instead of improving his image, the makers are again reducing him...

About the TRP's...I do not see any major problem..The serial is consistently performing in top 3 (or lets say top 5 consistently..) And all this, despite the fact that we all here , keep "kosofying" the CV's..LOL.. No matter many of us are fed up, but we still discuss this serial here..Isn't it.?. ;p
For we all are addicted to this serial..😆

I think we should wait...Even if the actor is finalized, we do not know, when will the Leap take place. Also, what if the actor is chosen for a different role other than Salim.?.😉

A Leap, that too in Akbar's Era, without these characters, is something INDIGESTIBLE...!!!!.. It's NOT a Child's Play.!.

@Tamy...You are right, abhi so many tracks are left...I do NOT see a reason to skip them, and jump to Salim - Anarkali... Unless the Makers have decided a suicidal route..?..😳

Valid points...But you see, there are many methods of bringing in Vamps..>>,,
1. Introduce another Female Assassin..😆..That track can run for 2 months easily. Remember Ben Track.?.😉
2. What about Ruqs.?. She is going to turn DARK GREY soon..
3. There are many methods of introducing villains..
4. And, even villains are not required always..Sometimes, the situations work without them also..There is a time when villains will Decrease...Perhaps, right now, JJ have to fight all ODDS...

Actually, Akbar's LIFE was full of Villains, hence we see the overdose of villains here, in extreme form of NR...I think, after the end of Petticoat Govt. , all this will end.

I have read a lot on that war from English, Persian, Rajputana(Rarest Records) sources, but did NOT find this term..

I can BET CV's will NOT show that War as it was..For me this is PERHAPS the ONLY thing or one of those FEW Things on Akbar, which i would not like to discuss, coz this was the BLACKEST CHAPTER in Akbar's Life, and so, i DO NOT justify his acts in Chittor... Hence, i want to know about this...IN PM or sticky but not on this thread...if there is any alternate detail..😊..

The one example of Jo not being ordinary was ,when she heard of those curses ,she didn't go for chestbeating and crying or accusing her fate but she decided to fight .Who in 16th century would have done this.

We have numerous examples of Akbar not being an ordinary man.

Then when god have made them extraordinary ,who are we to expect such ordinary things from them.

PS :-

If tomorrow some person wants to make love story on Radha Krishna ,can we expect passion in that as we know there was no physical thing in this story but as it was more platonic.

Let's come to this century ,if somebody wants to make story on some couples like the couple who founded one of the biggest software company of India.Everybody knows this story how they started .Shall we expect push and pull romance or shall we see how,a man with rs 10000 from his wife's savings and her support not only made one big MNC giant but has been doing million dollars charity work too.

@abhay: i m unanimous with ur total view but as i have experinced abt ekta's shows hence i m telling to keep alive negativity in her shows n along with many villains a strong lady villain have to remain is mandatory. I m telling abt her typical shows. Here u can say JA is different n its history based but look our show has been completed already 1 year n few months but in this time span how many times properly we have gotten positive track! Positive track that i m meaning such as shukanya's marriage track in amer. This was the only one track that had given me immense pleasure n enjoyment in JA show otherwise these ben,fp,sujamal,atifa tracks were not only filled with negativity but also had huge nastiness in story line. I always wished again any marriage track in amer cvs wl b introduced in JA. Can't cvs show maansing's marraige track or atgha's son's marriage track in amer as NR? Then this way many months can b spent without leap. Infact the way cvs have vanished MP totally frm this show its quite unexpectable.
I mn't vouching a bit this leap concept even if the day leap starts with young salim,this day wl b last day with JA for me. Moreover, those i have pointed the reason behind is for my fear n no faith on ekta as i have seen her many shows.
However, the points on the crucial historical incidence u have written in this thread if cvs show these all 1 by 1 then my happiness won't remain any bound n then definitely we r gonna to get many beautiful tracks in JA.
