The story have taken an interesting turn. For many it is just another track, another glorification of Jodha or Akbar's next political change. There are many saying why is it Jodha and not anyone else? Well the feeling is there in Todarmal, Maan and many other Hindus but not all have the shield of love from Jalal to protect against if at all they oppose with fierceness. Sadly some does not care or even aware of this issue simply because they want to stay away from trouble. And Shanthi like people are just helpless and have given up. It is not that they are forced to convert to Islam. No... it is an option to escape being subjected to unjust law just for the fact you are borned as a non-mughal. This has nothing to do with money nor religion. But only politics. Many might wonder why Jalal have not felt it. One because he is the king and two he was never been at the receiving end on this discrimination issue. It can be argued that Jodha too was never been subjected to this law hence how can she feel about it. Here is where many are mistaken. It is not the amount of money or the tax itself is the sole matter. The actual feeling runs more deeply. It's the feeling of being outcasted by the very mother they love. Here mother refers to the mother land. You love your motherland and very proud to be a part of it. But alas due to the ruling party who are not of the same origin you feel not belong there. Unfortunately the more u love it the more u feel abundant. This is why Jodha was first had hatred for Mughals. Since Jalal is head of the Mughal kingdom and had married her who this very reason has made her to direct her hatred towards him. Later she learned to separated Jalal and the law. Thus now the hatred had died down and endless amount of love have replaced it. But that does not mean she will not feel the hurt pain when ever she come across same issue. When she is in a position capable of bringing a suitable change then why not she protest. So, she does now with the help of Birbal in a manner where it will not hurt Jalal.

I'm not saying that Jalal is wrong. Infact I admire him all the more to actually stand up for fair and just. Not succumb to easy way out, that is purnishing the small( hindus) because some home truth come to light to satisfy the big(Mughal). Divide and rule is always easy way to rule a country by having different rules and law for different community. But not all will consider to make the difference by taking the hard way, being equal to all. And its time for Jalal to wake up and smell the coffee. He have to clear up the mess created by his ancestors. And every one knows he can and he will that is why he was Akbar.

The solution is not abolishing alone. Replacing the word Hindus in the rules with all the citizens can do the magic. But of course other loop holes must be taken into account when old one is amended.

Akka, this is the reason why I was actually started loving JA. There is no Jodha to bring a change nor Akbar who can look beyond race and religion. But there are still Shanthis who are helpless and some time I feel like one. I love Jodha alot because I know and have felt the same feelings in this front but she actually fought it successfully. Sorry akka, my writhing has become personal but this is the first time I have voiced out the frustration existing since a long time in me.

And again only the one who are standing on fire will know the heat, that's why Jodha felt it.
