Radhika I loved the title of your post... And about your post it is as usual perfect and heart warming...
Thanks so much, Surochita! 😊I am copy pasting some of my thoughts on yesterday's episode which I have written in Mansi Di's thread and will try to write some thing more later.Looking forward to some more thought-provoking views from you. I loved this post - it is such a fine piece of writing on Jalal's emotional turmoil and withdrawal. 👏I agree every person has some weak moments in their lives and needs an emotional anchor at such times to prevent them from slipping into the ravines of melancholy.I am glad you understood and explained Jalal's despondency so well. This is what I wrote about for Jodha too when she attempted suicide in the Khyber track. At that time, she was questioned about it. Now Jalal is being looked at askance for betraying normal human emotions. If he bottled them up, he would, some day, burst forth once again like a tsunami, the way he did in the Sujamal track with Jodha. We have to understand that Jalal is a young man. A very young man. Someone his age today would feel utterly depressed if his girlfriend left him or he didn't get admission in a college of his choice. Here Jalal has undergone a long, hard life and continuously had his faith shaken by his dearest associates. He has seen betrayals and conspiracies of the worst order. I would not consider him human if he could go through all that with a calm, composed frame of mind.Bechara Jalal, he is still unable to acceptAthga's death.. Yesterday my Mom wascomplaining about Jalal's roona dhona... Shefound it a bit OTT. but I think it was perfectlyalright to be depressed with the wholesituation... I think just because he is Akbar thegreat the almighty Sahansha.. People tend toforget that he is also a human being, even hehas a heart, even he has feelings, even he can behurt, sad and depressed just like any otherhuman being... There comes a time in life whenhowever strong a person may be he completelybreaks down and is shattered... And the samething has happened with him... From a veryyoung age he has seen many things in life... Helost his father, he had to struggle hard to getthe throne and to retain it... It had been a longand tough journey... And in that journey therewas his Khan Baba, Badi Ammi and Atga Sahabto guide him and to protect him. But nowsuddenly life has changed a 360 degree for him...He has reached the top most pedestal and whenhe looks from there he finds that those verypeople who protected him, who guided him,who were even ready to shed their own blood toprotect him has now become thirsty for hisblood. Those people whom he used to call hisfamily either wants him and his unborn kidsdead... Or is now dead because they were loyalto him and wanted to him safe... I think this uglytruth is enough to break any person... If everyhuman being is allowed to be shattered in such acondition why can't the same level of humanreaction is not permitted for Jalal...??? I for oneloved how they showed the human side of Akbarthe great.. It is these kinds of tragedy helps aperson to cope with greater misfortunes in life...Totally agree with lines in bold, as I wrote ^^^. Last line: true. The more we suffer, the more we become adapted to accept greater degrees of suffering in future.Elders says that the God who is watching usfrom above cares for us more than we care forourselves... And he knows whats best for us...That almighty has chosen Jalal to makehistory and to change the world. God knows that the the path which Jalal has to take in order to change the world which will change the very course of history is filled with difficulties, hurdles, betrayals, double crossing and sadness.. That is why He has sent Jodha in Jalal's life... So that she can holdhis hand and bring him out from every misery, sadness, depression and dejection and hardship And howbeautifully this was showen in yesterday's andFriday's episode..God tests us by giving us difficulties but God only helps us to overcome those difficulties by sending the right people at the right time in our lives. If we accept them openly, we can swim thru life's difficulties more easily. Otherwise, if we reject these good samaritans, then we cannot blame God for thrusting problems on us.Jodha was like a guardian angel sent to keep Jalal safe and loved amidst all the insecurity and hatred brewing around him.On Friday we saw her givinghim the assurance that he is not lonely and shewill be there with him through every thick andthin of life..and yesterday she beautifullyrestored the lost faith which he had on himselfand the self - confidence which was lost due toAtga's death and Maham's betrayal...How beautifully she said that it is not him whohas chosen this life... But it is life who haschosen it... I agree with her that he was destinedto be the Emperor of Mughal Sultanate at theage of 14 not only because he was late EmperorHumayun's son but also because he had thatcapability to conquer and rule even at thattender age. It is only because of his Valor,Dedication, Tej and Shaurya that he was able todefeat such a great soldier like Hemu in thesecond battle of Panipat. It was only because ofhis abilities that Khan Baba and Atga Sahab wereable to teach him and guide him... I loved whenshe said that no plants can rise one gives waterand fertiliser to a rock... That so true... Jodha inevery sense a right partner for Jalal... A perfectwife for the man Jalal as well as a perfectMalika for the Sahansha... Truly she became hisgreatest strength...
