Krishna tells Karna during Karna's final talk that Bheeshma dronacharya and Karna are more responsible for the war than Duryodhan himself. The inaction of the good can do more damage than the action of the bad. How true it is in Jalal's case. His inaction, his leniency to his family, his overlooking the evil of his doodh-brother, his failure as a king to render justice has cost him dear. HE is more responsible for the death of one of the most loyal minister of the Sultanate than Adham Khan. It is this guilt and anger that was eating him from within. His rage was more at himself than Adham. He knew MA and Adham's evils. He knew that MA was responsible for BK's death. He knew that AK was responsible for the loots, murders and bad name for the empire at Malwa. Yet he allowed himself to be weighed down by MA's pleas in Malwa. He kept forgiving AK's crimes that resulted in an irrepairable one.

Looking at himself in the mirror he realised what Adham Khan had done unto him. Rajat was too good in the hamam today, ...err..., I mean acting wise.😉 The wish to cleanse himself of his doodh-bro's blood and his own errors in letting him err and the consequences it wrought made him scream out desperately to what he lost - his father figure and most loyal aide.

I found Ashwini extremely good yesterday. We could actually feel for her yesterday though we always knew that she was evil. No wonder she manipulated Jalal all this while. But today it was an overdose and the impact was lost.

Jodha had declared in the early days of her marriage that she has and will have no fear of Jalal at all, but she admitted to her fear today and was peeping into the hamam like a mouse, after all her declarations of no fear ever against anyone.😆 But I was so pleased with Jodha today that she didn't give any paap-punya lectures. Good girl. Also, she awoke to facts sooner and sensed that she needed to support him.

@bold: bang on, I had the same sentiments yesterday, and today when he was washing himself, it was such a poignant gesture- was he washing away his brothers blood, or was his trying to rid himself of the guilt he felt for letting this happen, especially when both TM and Adgaah Saab had foretold that Aadham meant menace, and setting him free could have dire consequences.

RT, was fabulous today as well, I don't think there is another actor who could have made Akbar come so alive on small screen

Bang on sun
You always justify your name sun.Because you see everything and feel everything where some of us fail

Divya, the burning of the throne has nothing to do with guilt or the curse - it is more to do with the realization that most of those surrounding him do not see HIM but only see the Throne, the Crown and the Power - to most he is a commodity called Power - he is not human - and those who do see the Man - they have all taken the blows meant for him - thus adding to his sense of loss which he associates with the Takht and Taaj - there is a very interesting term used by the Moslem rulers - Takht ya Takhta - Throne or Coffin - for Jalal the Takht had become the Takhta stifling the very life out of him thru these losses.

Hi All- Great discussion as always. I am sorry to be missing it in meetings.

Adia- I so hope the curse is to cleanse Jalal of his guilt and move on ... but then why does he burn his throne as if he has lost everything because of his power?

That is why I feel the curse is going to loom over more than we like ...

Shyamala Aunty, it is right- Maham Anga is no Gandhaari ...

A lot of Mahabharat references I see these days ... but I wish the CVs would be less inspired by the Mahabharat and the history they have in front of them

on one hand i want it to come out desperately to let everyone know her real face ...on the other hand i do not want it to come out more for jalal's sake...how does one come out of such a brutal blow ..the woman you called your badi ammi is actually responsible for the murder of all your unborn children ...

beautiful Divi...just beautiful.❤️
3 epis in a row I spent crying...today I cried seeing Jalal and Maham..and I cursed myself crying for Maham after watching the precap! what a waste of my tears!

beherhal, Jalal went to meet Jodha coz he needed someone to sooth his heart, Jodha got frightened seeing his this blood-soaked body and face...who wont? he really looked scary! Jalal till he sees himself in the mirror thought Jodha might feeling horrified witnessing the killing process, but after he sees himself he knew exactly what made Jodha staying away from him! he was looking someone else!
As soon as he departs, Jodha immediately realizes she should have been with Jalal, so she runs after him, she finds him in hamam.
Jalal cleaning himself, cleaning the blood of Adham, screaming his voice out, screaming his lungs out to get over the grief he is suffering and is killing him every moment...that heart-wrenching scream ripped my heart apart Divi...😭😭
Jodha actually went after him to support him, not to stare at him, what stopped her was seeing Jalal in that tub washing that blood insanely, Jalal needed lone time to get over the shock, to bring out the effect of that horrendous thing just happened, to take out every emotions he was going through at that moment...Jodha understood it, I felt.

Jalal's break down at Atgah's funeral! lafz nahi hai mere paas bayan karne ke liye!! dil ko nichod ke rakhdiya!😭😭
How much I hate seeing him cry😭
I never imagined CVs will make Maham see the body deviating from the history, probably they wanted to give Ashwiniji her last few episodes...and OMG what dialogues, what acting!! I actually forgot I cried for Jalal few mins before!

precap: I hate myself crying for this evil woman! I hate it! probably she will blurt out the miscarriage truths too! Allah save Jalal please😭😭 CVs dramatized the curse thing showing twins will die with her curse! but didnt Maham got back what she did with Jalal's unborn kids?? then how come her curse is heard? Allah dont listen to curses!
