Divs today was all Jalal - all the way - and Rajat - this guy is living Akbar - and it shows on screen šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Indeed he is!

Where do I begin - lets start where yesterday ended - Jalal had just heard MA's blathering, which had made it very clear to him that for her he was just a commodity called Power - and the man who had numbed himself of all feelings then slowly emptied himself of all memories and feelings - and in that bloodied state comes to the one who is his key to the land of Faith - the land of Ishq - And all he got here was Fear

I know ... exactly what you mean ... I felt so bad for him when I found it was fear

Since yesterday I have been only looking at Jalal - what has been happening to him - and today showed me this - when Jalal looked at himself in the mirror - what he saw was the first latch of the lock opening - he then went to the hamam to wash off the blood (this was so very Shakespearean that I had goosebumps all over - reminded me of Lady Macbeth) - and as he screamed he let the anger out of him - this was the second latch of the lock opening - and finally Jalal near Atgha Khan's body - the man who had bottled up his grief let it all out - and with his tears flowed out all his grief - this was the third latch of the lock opening - and then again he hears MA both inside and outside as she speaks to AK's dead body and finally her venom coming out - this let him release the final vestiges of guilt and the final latch of the lock opened - The door to his heart is now open - and he today stands like the empty cup

A beautiful description of how his emotions were unlocked!

becoz he is feeling like a commodity - used - by the woman who he considered as his mother - and who constantly reiterated that he was her son - she has commoditised the purest relationship and thus commoditised him - and that has emptied him - he has emptied himself of everything - as of now he has become that empty cup that the Universe can now fill - and that is why Jodha becomes more important here becoz for him she is the key that opened the door to Ishq - and this empty cup called Akbar is ready to be filled with Ishq by my dearest frnd Ms. Kayanat 😃

Where will that ishq come from Adia? šŸ˜‰šŸ˜† You may be a better option!

As for the precap - that was MA in all her viciousness - and EK cashing in on the superstitious Indian Audience - All it did was show MA's real face to all - that she was never loyal - just taking advantage - removes the last vestiges of guilt from Akbar's heart.

I hope that is the case ... I saw Jalal's face harden ... like she stooped so low on a second watch and hope that is the reason why

The episode was fine ... but you could see things returning to normalcy after yesterday's brilliance

I know there was OTT drama in what they showed but still I wud prefer this drama anyway over jalaal Atifa hugging scenes 🤢

But those scenes are a low bar

Coming to TRP's its great that JA is no1 it deserves to be šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘ Great job CV's and please continue this in future too.

I will start with Jodha today, i agree ur point that she has a long way to go but she is getting there. Its good to see her understanding at least that Jalaal is angry although she didn't understand his sadness only after she saw him in Hamaam she understood his grief and loss. Cv's wheres my Jodha who hated Jalal to core and yet she lent out a hand on his shoulder when he was battling his emotions during Bakshi punishment? That Jodha understood Jalaal's grief but this Jodha only sees his anger so she feels she shud go and stop him. How I hoped she would spy on jalaal during atifa crap to understand what exactly is going through his brain. Nevermind she is getting there.

Yes, in the end of the day ... all we can say is : she is getting there

I really have a problem that Jodha still feels that Shehanshah gave a cruel (Kroor) punishment to Adham for his sins.

I know ... if she had once said - Shehenshah must have been in such pain to go to that extent ... that would have made me feel so much better

She said this below mentioned verse from bhagwad Gita during Atgah Khan mataam.

na jayate mriyate va kadacin
nayam bhutva bhavita va na bhuyah
ajo nityah sasvato 'yam purano
na hanyate hanyamane sarire

For the soul there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain.

Thank you for the translation - I was not familiar with it

Does Jodha really only read Bhagvad Gita and Mahabharata or really understood it too? What was Dushasana's fault that he had such a cruel death? where in War principals was it written that the opponent must tear off Body and Drink blood from his heart? Bhim did that to Dushasana was that not cruel? yes it was, but Dushasan deserved that death for trying to disrobe and almost Rape a woman in front of the whole court.
And so did Adham deserved his death for molesting minors, for raping maybe hundreds of Bandhis, for looting kingdoms forcefully, for corruption, for killing a prime minister etc.

We have talked at length at her selective selection of writings she refers to

Maham- I don't know what happened in reality and y, but i really liked the drama that the cvs showed us today. Her waking up from her deep slumber, but its too late dear and lamenting and almost begging to see her son once. Ashwini K did a fab job. šŸ‘ She was too good in all the scenes, I actually liked her in the scenes when she was required to be OTT too šŸ˜†

I liked the way how she was explaining and reasoning with Adham, I liked how she held his hand and sang that Lori to him. For a second I forgave all their wrongdoings and I was only thinking about their fate and despair. šŸ˜† Crap m so much turning into Jodha šŸ˜› I really felt for them. 😭 Aziz Koka was right that what is the use of killing someone who is already dead. For a mother the worst thing to see is their children dead before their eyes, they might be able to endure any other pain but this one is almost like a part of mother dies along with her child. Her Baddua in the end reminded me of Gandhari cursing Krishna after her 100 sons were slained, that u too will see downfall of ur empire. 😭 It is said that kichad ko saaf karna hai toh kichad mien utarna padta hai aur kichad ki gandagi ke cheentein tumpe bhi aayengi, thats so true sometimes u have to suffer a lot to do bigger good. So basically the cv's tied the twins death with Maham's baddua. What an irony that she being Jalaal's mother is responsible for his children's death. šŸ˜•

I prefer the subtle MA to the OTT one any day!

Jalaal- I am tired of praising RT and his acting skills now, he was great Bass... šŸ˜† So when he enters Jodha's room and realizes she is not allowing him to get close to her then he sees himself in Mirror and is filled with sadness and anger again. Anger coz what Adham made him do. So he marches off and goes to Hamaaam to cleanse his soul off the guilt that is eating him while he was desperately trying to clean blood off his hands. he is reminded of ATgah and lets out a cry at this point Jodha realizes that he is deeply hurt while she is watching him from a distance. Then we saw Jalaal at Atgah's funeral how he sat next to him lamenting over his loss at his feet like a small child who has lost his father and does not know what to do next in life. Thank god at that very moment Hamida bano came to lend him a shoulder to cry 😊 His restraint was good during maham begging to meet Adham and her crying over Adham's dead body.

Yes, Jalal was as always amazing

Finally thankyou for the wonderful insight in AKbarnama and also those wonderful ghazals and songs u've chosen to describe each event in todays episode. 😊

Thanks so much ! Glad you enjoyed it!

The inaction of the good can do more damage than the action of the bad. How true it is in Jalal's case. His inaction, his leniency to his family, his overlooking the evil of his doodh-brother, his failure as a king to render justice has cost him dear. HE is more responsible for the death of one of the most loyal minister of the Sultanate than Adham Khan. It is this guilt and anger that was eating him from within. His rage was more at himself than Adham. He knew MA and Adham's evils. He knew that MA was responsible for BK's death. He knew that AK was responsible for the loots, murders and bad name for the empire at Malwa. Yet he allowed himself to be weighed down by MA's pleas in Malwa. He kept forgiving AK's crimes that resulted in an irrepairable one.

Yes, Jalal is at fault as well ... however, he did not support Adham and MA as much as Karna and Bheeshma did Duryodhan ... he punished them but not harsh enough

Looking at himself in the mirror he realised what Adham Khan had done unto him. Rajat was too good in the hamam today, ...err..., I mean acting wise.šŸ˜‰ The wish to cleanse himself of his doodh-bro's blood and his own errors in letting him err and the consequences it wrought made him scream out desperately to what he lost - his father figure and most loyal aide.

Yes, it was almost like he was trying to find his identity again

I found Ashwini extremely good yesterday. We could actually feel for her yesterday though we always knew that she was evil. No wonder she manipulated Jalal all this while. But today it was an overdose and the impact was lost.

I liked her till the curse ... that was too OTT

Jodha had declared in the early days of her marriage that she has and will have no fear of Jalal at all, but she admitted to her fear today and was peeping into the hamam like a mouse, after all her declarations of no fear ever against anyone.šŸ˜† But I was so pleased with Jodha today that she didn't give any paap-punya lectures. Good girl. Also, she awoke to facts sooner and sensed that she needed to support him.

Yes, let us give Jodha credit for that ... and also the fact that she realizes she is scared of Jalal.

Thanks ! Aziz Koka will have screen space but hopefully he never has to act sad and angry again as that is where he fell short. He might be the new "hukum ki taamil ho"

Rajat's Jalal outshone Maham Anga by a long shot today

We will see Jodha consoling Jalal soon as per the new promo.

Yes, it was an emotional ride. And you hit Jalal's pain on its head ... he could not save the one guy who loved him selflessly.

Yes, and that is why I said she will get there ... I feel like whacking her dialogue writers ... for her worried about uchit / anuchit at this hour
