How did Jalal find her? I don't know if he mentioned it and I missed it -as I don't speak much Hindi - or did he just stumble upon her ? -which would be weird 'cos how ,then, in all the years she was captive in his turf, he didn't stumble upon her???

How did he find out about her? I find this part of the story very weak.the cvs did not do a good job wrapping it up. After all the mystery around the woman in the prison, the entry of her daughter - with plans to destroy Jalal, I think her discovery deserved a better closure.

Jalal said, "Adga Saheb became my eyes and years, and that's how I found Chand Begum." Next we knew, Chand Begum was walking in with Nigar. Yes, the story deserved a better closure.

It is so sad that they waste all the time exploring junky sub-plots and then don't have time to close even important ones properly.

As I wrote in another thread, JA experience goes like this: A tour takes you to Agra and spends 1/2 the time exploring rubbish piles in one part of the town. Then there is a 15 minute "slash and burn" stop at the Taj Mahal. Then you move on to spend the second 1/2 of the tour exploring rubbish piles in another part of the town. That is the essence of the JA experience.
