Rashmi, it is hard to hate Ruqaiyya constantly the way I hate Maham. Ruq is not lovable but she does appear a victim herself sometimes. It becomes difficult to censure her then. (Like when Jalal rebuked her in front of Atifa and other assorted bandis in the Wednesday episode.)

In the same Wednesday episode, she was so brutally honest in her talk with Jodha. She laid herself bare without appearing to be self-important or mocking Jodha. She acknowledged that Jodha had been the only true love in Jalal's life and if anyone could stop Jalal from marrying Atifa, it was Jodha. Ruq literally accepted that she NEEDED Jodha to be able to continue her life as the BEK.

And I was really moved by her pain when she saw what looked like Jalal getting married to Atifa last night.

I do agree with you that Ruq can enjoy her position ONLY if JJ are together because Jo is too kind and good-natured to hurt Ruq's interests in any way.

Personally, I do not think Ruq has a great role to play in the Atifa case.

I don't mind her continuing with shades of grey but her power obsession and shrieking rants must be reduced forthwith! And she should be shown to learn from her mistakes and grow wiser and more mature with time. It wouldn't hurt if Jalal were to be tougher with her now on and prevented her from taking out her frustration on Jodha.

actually after Wednesday when Ruks vented out to Jodha, I did sympathize with her.. There was another one instance I believe it was the war track I forgave Ruks and soon enough she was back to her old self. Even today she was concerned when Jodha was about to fall..

I think TodarMal can NOT be on Jalal's suspect List... He has to be his confident...

You remember in the TM's accusation track by Nigar, Jalal had FULL faith in TM..?..
So, here also, Jalal should be shown the SAME... :)

And, Jalal could have suspected Adham, Sharif(but why.?.Till now he has emerged as his Confident..I mean, Sharif has never been suspected..) .. Atleast Adham has embezzlement charges against him...

I don't think Jalal suspected Nigar Apa..even.!!!.

An Emperor, though has to remain careful of all dangers, BUT STILL he is NOT one man army..
At least few are his confidents.. :)

Let's see what the CV's show today...

BTW, I was NOT impressed by the justification given yesterday...Jalal's self-talks about falling for Atifa, and his ' stalking eye ' on the Jungle outing still, remains unexplained... I will wait for explanation... :) More to come today...I hope so..
On acting front, it was a good performance by the Leads..

Yes, there are going to be LOTS of Flashbacks, as CV's need to give explanation...
I hope atleast this part is shown Slowly and Nicely...

But still, there are few points which MAY NOT be answered...

1. Jalal's Self-talk when he said, himself falling for Atifa. ;p ... Was he LYING to himself also.?. ;p
2. His "roving eye" in the Jungle on Atifa... ;p [ Perhaps, they will show that there were CCTV's all around. ;p Kidding..Hence, he required to do that ' stalking ' .LOL. ]


Anyways, one thing which i felt for SURE is that, the script was changed perhaps, to some extent, because there were LOTS of changes visible from Monday, after the news of DRASTIC fall in TRP's last week... It appeared as if the CV's NOW took a decision to wrap up this track as soon as possible..

Also, the "Zee Man" had repeatedly told MANY that this track will continue till the END of this Month...But now it is ending this week itself.?. I believe, that something has been changed RECENTLY to wrap this torture soon..



Also, we really can not trust these CV's...I learnt this HARD way in the Benazir Track...
In the Benazir Track, there were some signals showed by the CV's when --

1. Jalal was shown to wash his hands(?) after the touch of Benazir.. { I deduced that Jalal is "SMART" enough and HE KNOWS that Benazir is a Vishkanya, hence he washed his hands..}

2. When he took Benazir for a BOAT ride to the Dargah, i thought that he wants to know about her/verify her identity, but that was not the case, and had to be saved by Jodha there...

That track, we were told by the Zee Man that, Benazir track is a short one, but it continued for LONG, since JA had consistent TRP's .. LOL..


CV's "ALWAYS" start tracks will MIXED signals, and then DECIDE the course based on TRP's...

This is what i could deduce...
So, Belief / No-Belief, i prefer taking this, on an Episode basis now, as all the THEORIES of Entire Forum were TAKEN for a TOSS in the Benazir Track, despite so-MANY ""SIGNALS"" by Jalal...

I am happy that present track is Ending soon..

today also i believe the track was like jalal was genuinely fallen on atifa then his redemption for this blunder b/c i don't think Jalal wl ever enable to give any justification of his self talk abt his growing attraction on atifa but after almost 2 years journey of jj's matrimony when they r in fully love with each other n the crucial point is when Jo is expecting Ja's children at this time to introduce womenizer( though pretending now but at starting there was no a single signal of pretending) jalal was a gigantic fault of cvs. However,result is the lowest trp till date.
Perhaps he could justify abt his eying on atifa's back in hidden to say that he wanted to convince atifa that he was in fallen in the spurious of her as atifa was also keeping eyes on him but there is no way to clarify his self talk abt atifa hence i think cvs wl skip this issue.

BTW, Just a random thought...

I was thinking about that momentary "weakness" of Jodha, when she tried to go for a suicide...

I missed the Forum during that War Track...Anyways, I remember, he was is dilemma, about whether he should fight with MC Begum or not { despite knowing that his throne, aawam, etc. was in danger.. }...And, he had to be counselled by Jodha, Ruqs, Hamida Bano for this...

Though, he was a seasoned warrior, and he had faced this situation previously also, when he marched against Bairam Khan (that time also he needed a counsel from MA, Ruqs, and Hamida Bano...)

So, i am trying to say that, despite having a PRIOR experience of a similar situation, Jalal was in DharmSankat, of whether to fight MC Begum OR NOT..?..

We can say that, these people are his relatives, hence he was in a state of dillema...
But i am focusing on the part where a person is overtaken by a WEAK MOMENT in his life , when he/she refuses to recognize his real self / his real responsibilities, though they may be WRONG...


REEL Jodha...

I feel, some how, taking the Extreme step of suicide was on similar Lines...Despite the fact that, she is a strong lady...She underwent what not in Agra, and sailed thorough every storm..?. But somehow she was Cornered and TAKEN AWAY by that MOMENTARY Weakness..Hence, that ' attempt ' ...

Coming to the REAL ONES...

Akbar, after occupying Chittor(1567), was disturbed / shocked , by one thing...That was the "Jauher" done by the Royal Ladies / and Commoners of Chittor... He went from there, to Ranthambore, the LAST STRONG BASTION of Rajputana, and despite settling the situation with LESS bloodshed compared to Chittor, here also, he had to see Jauher of the Ladies... { Will elaborate Later on this, at 'appropriate' place, not here :) ..}

After coming back to Agra, from Ranthambore(1568), Akbar refused to go to the Deewan-e-Khas for COMPLETE 3 nights and 2 days...!!!!!!!!!!!!..

^^ I sometimes, think that, a seasoned warrior, as MIGHTY and GREAT as Akbar, the Shahenshah of Hindustan, who has seen continous conspiracies / bloodshed / fights / massacres, since the age of 13, and fought continuous battles, can ALSO get affected by this, at a matured age of 26..(Born-1542)..??...

Despite having a Strong character, few things are enough to affect you deeply...They may affect you MOMENTARILY, but yes, they can HAVE FAR reaching consequences...And, you can take some WRONG steps also, in such situations...That happens even with GREAT people.. :)

Jodha and Jalal are ALSO on Similar Lines..Isn't it.?.
