The last few minutes of the episode, everything became a bit more mature. JJ's totally husband-wife moment when he stood there with a questioning look, eaxsperated,concerned,tired... 'Why Jodha? Why did you put us all through this?' and Jo trying to sort out all the reasons why. Just then Khyb ' Jooo' and Jo realizes that Khyb is still on the precipice down there. Her gaze breaks from Jallu's and she looks at Khyb, Jallu follows her eyes and suddenly both are horrified when they see Khyb falling to his death. This is what unites them, their joint sense of loss for Khyb.

No, I don't care that CVs want me to keep score on JJ's relationship - This moment was my highlight from the last month's worth of viewing.

Rashmi, sometimes CVs really know how to show the important part. When JJ were standing there looking at each other, I could see Jo starting to prepare an argument but then Khyb saved JJ from that and made it a beautiful moment. It's always beautiful to see people forget about themselves and show compassion for others. The fact that JJ both share this trait is really the point of this show. They have different ways of showing it. Big Hearts.

yes both Jodha and Jalal were united in their sense of loss ... Jodha always had gratitude to Khaiber ... and Jalal had just seen him save her life ... he also so his other side now

The CVs do not want to keep score on the JJ relationship but the forum sure does 😆

Was there nothing in the dignified way Jalal is handling a pretty bad situation?

what else can any sane person do other than be the way he was ? It doesn't mean he needs a special mention. I would have been just as dignified, so would you. The whole track and the way events have unfolded - It's like National Lampoon's Jodha Akbar.

I guess we all appreciate different things in different people ... and find it special. For me compassion is a basic human instinct that most feel ... even I who have never defended Khaiber felt bad for the way in which he died. There was something very bittersweet about it- he died in peace and at his own will.

But, for a 16th century king to show that restlessness , care, longing, fear, love, anger all in once for his wife who has broken the law and facing countless rumors among his awaam and show the nuances in one episode is special.

But no matter how much they are at loggerheads with each other , you are right - they are always joined in compassion and caring for others.
