When somebody is both agry and guilty they will shout all kinds of things that they may or may not even actually feel. Jalal is angry and at the same time also guilty that he has to do this naatak of romancing Atifa and hurting Jodha so his own words are coming out harsh reflecting his agitated state of mind.

(I m saying this may be her point of view after his behavior yest)...and so for now her only concern is her kids, not Jalal...now she won't care a damn for him or his actions...

And in very next scene she proved it ... After crying silently when he uttered those harsh words, that same silence settled in her where he is concerned... While doing her prayers, after feeling his presence, she turned her eyes away from him not giving him ant hint of her feelings... for next few moments he kept staring at her, waiting if she again looks at him, but she didn't... even later , she was hurt by his assumption that she may not be ready to go with him... but still she didn't say a word abt it... she just told him abt the arrangements she has done, like she is now concerned abt only her duties... not a single thing more, and so she leaves without an extra word... And it looks like , he is expecting something more from her, but is upset , that for her that thing is over... So he calls her, she stops but doesn't turn, coz now she is not ready to show him any of her feelings, her emotions, her concerns... (not that he needs to hear it from her... I m sure he understands her pain even without looking at her)...he waits to see if she turns and goes to him, but again all he gets is her cold shoulder...his expressions r changed and he takes a step towards her as if to console her, but just as she feels him moving towards her, her face changes to steely determination... her eyes show that hurt but her face shows her decision... now onwards she will maintain the distance btw them, he has created... If he wants to talk her or he needs her for anything, it will be him who will have to go to her, it will be him who will have to ask for her co-operation , coz she ll be with him only for completing her duties, nothing more...

The strength I said above, was shown in her in this scene... and so I feel she won't commit suicide...abt the precap, I think after hearing abt KZ, she feels concerned for him, and so she goes to see him.. (that's why that blanket and all)...but when she goes there she finds the door open, and so she peeps inside thinking if he has been killed...and then she is abt to fall in the well, that KZ saves her... So there is no kidnapping... remains abt her devastated state, is coz she felt worried for a sec when she saw that well open, that Jalal killed KZ and committed one more sin in Ramzaan...and so when she sees KZ is well alive, and rather he saved her, so all her pent up frustration came up and she shouted at him asking why he saved her, when her own hubby doesn't care abt her...

For me yest episode and precap made this sence... am I right?

Diksha, I totally agree with you on this. Moe over Jalal who has started his mission of trapping whoever it may be who is trying to hurt his wife and kids and also him (looks like he would ave received some info about a near case of harming Jodha withher babies or he would have overheard Ruqu uttering the those words ( may not be on athe same occasion when she learned about JOdha's pregnancy and others happiness) that she will not let the Shahi throne getting adultrated by Rajvanshi blood and also he would have seen/heard some activities apart from Ruqu's also. So he would have thought to go to the roots of the conspirator so that Jodha may not try to get the forgiven. In all this bargain, he would not have realised he would be hurting Jodha mentally & physically. So while he was to face her with his rude behavior, he had always been not seeing her face and had not gauged the extent of damage he had caused to her. Later when it came about his ego clash, he was hurt because the one who went against him in public and caused damage to his image as a king who doesn't change his mind once he gives a ruling. He was not happy with her decision to forgive BB and then Sharif and later Ruqu and Maham but since they were all his blood relatives, the awam didn't said much about his changed decision but now it was a case of culprit and Jodha used her wish to pardon a Kaidi against his wish (that too the one who was to hurt his Jodha and his kids) and it was difficult to digest for him.

Now when the Rajvanshi king came and talked about Jodha's letter his daughter where she has promised that girl about she will stall her marriage with Atgah Khan's son was too much for him to stomach as the king said he and his daughter were more than willing for this marriage. Looks like even though he was angry initially, he will realize the fact that Jodha will not do such promises with out reason and would have thought that someone would have foul played and that could be the reason for Jodha's promise. And for us the viewers it was more than evident that the culprit in this case was none other than Maham as we could she her glee when Jalal was angry at Jodha. If was still angry with her, Jalal would not have gone with Mansingh for Jail survey and asked his views about the necessary changes to be done to it so that, the similar incident (Kyber's entry to Jodha's Hojra) doesn't reoccur.

he was shocked to see the extent of hurt he had caused to Jodha when she asked him about his relationship with another lady (that too a married one) and though he was tempted to reveal his truth ( he turned away from her face) he took few minutes to reply and it was harsh to Jodha but his voice was hoarse as he could not control his emotions while lying to her. MAy be he was aware that some one was keeping their eye on his each and every movement and words, so he said those words and left the spot even before she could say some thing more. MAy be he was not ready for Jodha's distrust on his love rather her love for him

he would have thought that even if he himself accept the adultery and say that he no longer loves her, he was expecting that Jodha will not accept it as she knows that he loves only her and can't change it for the life time an dbeyond, He was thinking that Jodha had full faith in her love for him that her love can't allow his to commit any adultery and she will keep her confidence and wait for the truth to reveal later. what he would not have anticipated was the brave and strong Jodha who was ready to fight and kill many was so soft withing when it comes to his love and will be devastated by the news about his involvement with another lady. When he realized that, he was too tempted to shell out his heart but could not ads he would have been bound with some reason.

So lets wait and watch what is their for us in store next week

Awesome post Diksha.You beautifully wrote what Jo is feeling.But one thing I feel is ,though she is hurt very much but maintaining distance from him is not easy.She will keep herself away from Jalal and Aatifa relationship.But cutting him off abruptly is not easy for her.

Diksha adultery is not so uncommon not even those times and right now also.Most of the time it's the wife who suffers the most.But mentality of Indian ladies as wives is very different.Indian wives are the most committed ones whether their husband is committed to relationship or not.Therefore so many ladies still face domestic violence but hardly go and report.

In this age also though we are independent financially and we can look after ourselves even if we get separated but still we try if something can work out if marriage is in problem.

It was 16th century of Pati paremeshwar days and again she was royal who is used to such things.

I feel from this track she starts her journey as real MUZ who will only concentrate on her relationship with akbar ignoring his temporary attractions during that time.

Today the picture became more clear about Jalal acting smart and as you said he really cares about Jo.
1) I feel that letter from a Rajwanshi princess is somebody's mischief.The person who is mastermind behind the whole Plot of Aatifa..That letter was send wrongly to Jo for creating MU.Here I thought Jo should have talked with Jalal and then she send a letter.She took it for granted that when I will tell him ,he will listen to me.Its not always in relationships that if one person makes other understand ,he understands it immediately.Then relationships would have been so simple to deal with but they are not.Atleast in marriage,things should be clear and told then and there,Not afterwards.
2)I support Jo in Khyber issue .Because he not only saved her life but also he did not hurt her modesty which is way big thing for a Rajwanshi princess than her life.But I thought the moment she got the news of Khyber's execution she would have used her wish instead of publicly doing it.Also Jalal has pardoned Shenu who was more dangerous than Khyber.She declared war against Jalal,made him go through horrible torture and even sent army along with AM for raping harem ladies.Inspite of knowing Jo is pregnant she fought with her .So I do not understand why Jalal was in hurry to punish Khyber? Jo is right if she stopped this sin atleast during the holy month of Ramzaan.
3)I feel all this Aatifa thing is planning of Nigar or may be a surprise element will be Mirza Hakim.Because we have yet to receive the news of Munim khan's son's death ,At the end of this track when Kabul's involvement in this plot is declared and also this news comes ,Jalal will send Munim to Kabul for war.I still feel Nigar is supporting Mahac.
4)Much is said about Jalal looking over Jo's shoulders during the confrontation and the eyelock of Jajo.So I won't comment now.But yes the hojra scene of Eid preparation discussion was awesome,It required a lot of resolve from Jo's side to go from there.I thought if he had called her again,she would have run into his arms.We are seeing such a poised ,composed and matured Jo.
5)Precap:- I feel Shariff will try to take her outside the palace by making her unconscious,he may try to do some mischief but Jo will save herself .This incident might compel her to jump in the well but Khyber will save her.Here Jo will not expose Shariff as soon Bakshi's delivery news will come.Why do you think they have kept her waiting then?

Rashmi I was thinking about the letter fiasco ... What if the letter stating that the Rajvanshi Princess is unwilling to marry a Mughal was indeed send by the Princess herself and latter when her father got to knew about the exchanges between the Mughal Queen and that Princess got scared and anticipated enmity between the two kingdoms so he came to Jalal and bluntly put all the blame on Jodha and saved himself and his kingdom for Sahenshas wrath... I think That Princesss genuinely does not marry a Mughal but her father is forcing this marriage on her... I really don't trust these 16th century fathers and especially Kings they love their throne more than their Daughters... And I also can't find any reason why a girl will like to marry outside her community willingly and that also in 16th century.. even now girls are reluctant about marrying outside their community... Remember how dead against Jodha was during her marriage and how she was forced by her parents to marry Jalal.. May be the father is forcing this marriage and the only way out of her from this is if the Mughals call's off this wedding so she secretly wrote to Jodha as she thought only she will understand her condition and being the favourite queen she would be able to convince the emperor to call off the wedding or may be because she was simply afraid to send the letter directly to the emperor so she thought this letter should reach The emperor via his queen... On the other hand the father caught hold of Jodhas letter and then concealed his daughter's hand in the letter exchange and came to Jalal to save his back and put the entire blame on the Queen or may be the Princess denied sending any letter for help to the Mughal Queen when confronted by her father as she feared his father's reaction..

Mansi...brilliant post!!! My only question...When willJodha learn. I really want Jodha to support her husband and try to understand his pov. I know she has a soft heart and all but why does she go against him all the time. What Jalal said was so true, she always wants things to be done her way and this lead to so many problems before. I really want Jodha for once say this to Jalal, that u r more important than anyone else.

Regardless of Jalal cheating or acting, Jodha should change that about her.

I do agree Jodha should learn from her mistakes and support her husband. But one thing we should also understand is supporting your husband no matter what is also wrong. I believe even in this KHYB she did say the reaon she wanted Khyber not to be executed was because she wanted to save her husbands honor as it is a sin to kill someone during Ramzan. agree she has aked Jalal to forgive many people but if we look from her pOV she wanted this because she did not want her husband to suffer.

Hi MANSI, nicely done.

I don't think jalal is annoyed about the letter issue. He is just using that to show Jodha and the world how very pissed he is with her and how he is drifting away from her to atifa. He is obviously hoping that Jodha and everyone else will buy his acting. Much like the Khyber case. He is stressed about that darinda as he feels he will hurt Jo and the kids again. But he is not violently angry with Jo for having saved Khyber. I think jalal loved it when Jo told him that she saved that man to save him from committing a crime. If it was another day and another situation, we would have seen an akdha hug. But for now jalal needs any excuse to show his resentment towards Jo. And the enemies are buying that.

About the letter issue, I again feel jalal is using this piece of info to fool his enemies and the audience into believing that he is upset with Jo. At this moment, I don't think he is actually bothered about the intricacies of the letter. He is focused on rooting out his enemies and his plan.

He has now come to understand his Jodha and knows fully well that whatever she will do must have a strong reason behind it. He trusts her that much. So this 'your ego thing' is a part of the play. If the letter thing had come to the fore on another day, jalal would have surely enquired about why Jodha did it rather than lashing out at her.

Jo did not refuse , nor did she seem shocked when she heard jalal ask her about those letters. So maybe there's a story behind that as well. This matter will be taken over after the atifa fiasco.

If there be some hanky panky in this letter issue, I am sure maham and the dhakka episode will unravel... From now on its closing tracks time.
