See nowadays leaps are not being dictated by a fall in TRPs. There are so many shows right now doing leaps when they are at the height of popularity. Its obviously working better for them if they switch stories on a high rather than a low point!

I agree ,...Its good that cv's working out hardly for future plot..But I felt leap is too early ..all over they promised as epic love tone so its difficult if they are considering leap as of right now,,As show had huge fan base based on Parijat...Where cv's never justified their way of writing specially when it comes to romance..Then how far we can go for leap..??

This must be the result of better risk-reward assessment nowadays, since as many as six or seven serials that I know of right now are going in for leaps/ story switches/sequels at a time when their TRPs are the highest they've ever been.

I guess when the analytics were a little amateurish, people assumed that dropping TRPs needed bolstering with story changes. Now there is more analysis using numbers and I guess the recent pattern of story changes when on a high on TRPs is the result of better methods of evaluation.
