Well ever since i came to know about this, i have been thinking about atleast one reason(given) about why this closure is valid only for Your threads. Does this mean that this forum is no more an open forum where people can express their views with regard to the shows and the things being presented to us. Does that mean that we have to silently accept whatever crap is shown in the name of creativity that too in "said historical show". Provided the makers of the show have from the start stated that the show deals with the love/real life of Jodha n Akbar. Then why can not we debate/discuss history about them? Most importantly why has these Rules been crafted after more than a year of the show's inception? This forum now appears only for members who can silently watch the show without any word of opposition like the makers have enslaved them 😳

well said!

Even today, I was reading some threads that were discussing about the spoiler related to Akbar falling for a minister's wife and marrying her. There was a lot of curiosity and consternation that this could be true and might be shown in the serial. There was a hope expressed that the serial sticks to "naatakiya roopantar" and sidesteps this bit of history, if it really is a bit of history.

We have to decide whether we think of the show as a dramatized historical or a piece of fiction. If it is the later, why worry about "history" on "normal" threads? Let's take it all as a story and no more.

If it's the former, then we should be allowed to discuss the historical aspects of the show in a serious manner and have our queries answers by those who are knowledgeable about history. Instead of relying on mutual gossip and hearsay and accepting that as the "unverified" truth.

First of all, Happy Birthday once again!

I want to repeat what I had written in birthday thread:

I miss you and your posts on JA forum. Your historical threads are my favorite. They were so engaging, interesting and valuable. Because of your threads, I got more interested in history and especially Akbar and MUZ. My love and respect has multiplied for them since I read your threads. Thank you very much for all the effort and hard work (👏)you had put in all these threads.

Now back to closing of your historical threads:

1) I and many other members wanted Your historical threads to be sticky NOT a general thread where it is a chaos. I went there and it was so hard to differentiate the information from questions or doubts.A member who is sharing the info cannot change the title other than former mod. So, it's even harder for members to know what page the info is on and where are the following discussions on it.

Solution: It would have be better if this "Doubts and Discussions about Historical Facts" had just listed the LINKS and titles of historical threads by you and any new/old member. (Members who want to share their historical threads can just post their links and titles and summary of it , if needed. This way there would be no work for MODS either). Then, other members can just click on the link to read if they are interested in that subject. So, this way people can avoid the thread if they are not interested in it due to subject or topic maker.

2) As stated in your posts that few members reported your threads, then I want to know on what basis? Members who reported it because they did not believe the info, Abhay and his co-researchers provided, then WHY didn't they make a comment in the the thread AND provided the reference from authentic records and prove the info wrong by scanning the page and giving references where they got the info from. I am sure if they had brought real proof, then you(Abhay) won't have mind accepting it. But, no what did they do? They reported the threads but did not provide the references which shows they were either bluffing about the info being wrong or assumed it was wrong (in Abhay's historical threads).

3) This show is based on real people so obviously people will be curious to know if it's mentioned in history or not and that is why members have full right to open topic on it or bring that question in historical threads ( whom they trust).

4) If there is a question of bashing or fan wars, then let me say we all used to have cordial discussions on your threads regardless of if one is Jalal fan or jodha fan or Akdha fan. So, I am sure that is not an issue.

5) I completely support RE-OPENING of all historical threads of you (Abhay) and any other member if needed to be open. I hope MODS allow new ones, too. I request MODS to please re-open them.

6) I and many members do not want to be deprived of all the valuable and interesting info you, Kamal, Lizzy and your other co-researchers provided just because of "few" members who reported the thread without proof. WHY should we (MAJORITY) all suffer and be deprived of it?

I pray and hope wholeheartedly that your threads are re-opened and we get to enjoy the fruits of your and other co-researchers' hard work and effort.

Come back soon to forum to share your views!!!

Best Regards,

Ayesha

Good point. Ultimately, it is the show makers who have benefitted from this rule. They can show anything and we won't know the difference between reality and naatkiye Roopanter. Abhay's threads had several lakh views...imagine the number of silent readers who relied on them as a source of information. His threads are considered a credible source because he provides references.

Abhay, I cannot tell you how happy I am to see you here. Happy birthday, my god grant you all your wishes.

Regarding the rules, let me tell you, the reason I joined this forum was to read your posts and comment on them. If these forum administrators are so pig headed as to continue to impose restrictions on your writings, then just give me the address of the Facebook page or forum that you will migrate from here. I wish to follow you there.

@underlined: Ameen! 😊

As for changing, Ayushi, you yourself always say that Jalal is constantly learning. He learns and evolves. Likewise, Abhay too is learning and evolving. 😊 But just as the core values of Jalal remain intact, Abhay's core values of honesty, hard work, dedication, perseverance, helpfulness, generosity of spirit in sharing knowledge freely with everyone, patience in answering inane queries, and respect for everyone will always stay fixed.

@cleo1234 exactly. Abhay's threads made me watch the show honestly. The tally b/w the fiction n facts made watching the show interesting. Atleast peoole know that eventually what is going to happen caus of the threads but now, ignorant viewers are going to assume the distortions of the orginal characters as real. That is indeed very sad.
