I agree with you that jalal and jodha should be given more screen space. ...

Plus the forum does not represent entire India's view. ..Out of the forum i find so many people like to watch Ruku. ..

and as u said...d forum doesn't represents...total indian viewers...as foe i knw...dose who like ruqs here r online viewers...n dey hve nthng to do with the TRP...n...ya...majority here also knws wat indian viewers like...

Thanks for making this brave post. Some members will most likely make a hue and cry and report it ...i wont be surprsied if it is locked soon. Bash and mock Jo and Jalal but dear Ruk is untouchable...Dont be surprised...any negative character can hv fans...heard of the KKK...google it if someone hasn't.
Most human beings like to watch good triumph over evil. They keep watching daily soaps hoping that one day the protagonist will be able to see through the chaals and the antagonist will be punished. No such luck with JA. The show makers cant get over their kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu success( i cant claim that i hv watched that show but hv read a lot abt negativity being used as a factor to increase viewership) JA trps fell after TM track...why? Because it was a disgusting concept. People hated watching an honorable man being insulted like that... the real one who walked on planet earth had an untarnished reputation...even, the trp audience who watch the show for just Jo and Jalal and their love story were disappointed by the portrayal of their favorite characters... Usually, they butcher one character to glorify the other. This time they butchered both. Who wants to see that? The show makers took their success for granted. No matter how good looking the vamp/ villian is , the viewers can only take so much. If we see the actors playing Ruk, Nigar, MA, Adham or even the one eyed AM at a party, we'll probably give them a second look...but not on TV...where we hv the option of watching Marilyn Monroe, Brad Pitt, Katrina Kaif and Hritikh Roshan anytime we want.
I prefer watching a good looking positive character over a good looking negative one. Not sure what is their reason for giving so much importance to Ruk, Nigar or MA...I too hv read the behind the scene stories...not sure what to believe ...and to be honest, I stay away from commenting on actors, and dont care how close an actress is to the director or the PH...if she is an eyesore...she is an eyesore...period. People watch the show hoping to see JJ...together preferably. The show makers use JJ's popularity to push the negative characters( or the actors )down our throat...As soon as the trps start slipping they focus on J or/and J to bring up the trps...I am eager to see how long can they get away with this...they certainly succceded in making the actress playing Ruk a star( so I hear)...why not...She gets the best directed scenes...they focus on her inner feelings, he pain, her blah blah blah...What Jodha gets is irritating and repetitive kartavya and hum Rajvanshi hain dialogues(God, what do they have against Rajvanshis?...I don't know... Ruk and MA are more irritating characters but are not asked to mouth " hum Mughal/ musalmaan hain"...so no one bashes Mughals but the poor Rajvanshis become a victim of biased and lazy EK script writers/ dialogue writers/ director...I can't blame the bashers...who can stand this repetitive and unnecessary Rajvanshi chant? ...all I know is the real ones did not deserve this portrayal or bashing)...the mughal characters are certainly more irritating...but has anyone on the forum bashed the clan/ religion...NO...several reasons...if I mention them here, the thread will be closed right away( we are Indians...being secular is fashionable...remember😉. )
Going back to Rukaiya...I don't know why she is given so much importance and screen space... or maybe I do..but don't want to write it out of civility...I certainly do not want to disrupt the dignity of this forum. I don't need to... all intelligent viewers know the real reason behind it.

Hi good post, Agree you.

Yes i also sometimes Feel, LEADS going to less space, Even if scene Comes, Recentely finish, Viewers, start to connect that scene, & scene finish. Nagative scene giving more time.(FULL ATTENTION) WHY?

Needed, Good Dialgous, to Leads,

Agree, RUK, MAHAM,;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;XYZ, are PARTS of story, but, they are taking more space, so nagative scene comes More, they spoil MOOD. If scenes should be distributed, in HEALTHY FORM, better for SERIAL LIFE, or BETTER FOR AUDIENCE.

and dear I know many who like Ruku and they are not online viewers...The show has been a hit and Ruku has been a major part of it...I am not saying that whole credit goes to her alone but yes she also has her share...and has her own fan following...and yes Lavina is a fantastic actress...She seldom gets good scenes but when she gets them , she nails them...inspite of her not having a good voice...Since yesterday ppl cant stop talking abt her, loving her, hating her and complaining about her role which lasted for only two minutes😆 , but talking only about her ...She stole the show yesterday...hats off to LT...👍🏼

Agree with you Ayushi. Adding a touch of negativity is important to make a story spicy. But too much spice is injurious to health.

My sentiments exactly!
I also feel Ruq's feelings, thoughts and views about everything are beautifully depicted and we are emotionally twisted to feel pity/sadness for her.

But no such deep character portrayal is done for JJ. They appear superficial - never thinking/feeling anything except duty and responsibility. 😕

I am thankful for small mercies:😊

  • While Jalal skipped the jashn for Ruq, there is one for Jo. Even if it is only so that Ape Man can kidnap Jo.
  • Just as he let Jo serve Ruq, he has asked Ruq to serve Jo. So at least those who felt bad about a queen being made to work like a maid should be satisfied.
Even Nigar's explanation of Mahamanga's actions was too much to digest. I was really happy to see Mahamanga being sent to jail. But it turned out to be a dream. 😕

I really DO NOT BELIEVE there will ever be any expose of Mahamanga or Ruq or Mahachuchak or anyone. Mirza Hakim is shown to be goody-goody. Atga seems to be ok with Adham embezzling money from the treasury.

It's kalyug. The bad prospers. The good suffers eternally.

I don't think we ought to bring in religion into the picture...I empathised with Ruqu in the beginning, but not anymore, esp after the FP...she has knowingly committed so many crimes, out of jealousy, arrogance & contempt for all...I find her screeching intolerable...LT may be a good actress, but Ruqu's characterisation has been pathetic, which makes me squirm when she is onscreen with her antics...she has absolutely no regard for any one's feelings...
Infact, all said that Jalal had no dil...I feel EK's Ruqu has no dil...
This is not about religion at all...it is about goodness vs evil.

Radhika lines in bold - I also think so. CVs keep bringing these fantastic tracks cos they do NOT WANT TO SHOW MA downfall.
Ruk bhandafod?! - She is even more favorite of CVs!

Like Cleo wrote vamps/villains should be like spices to bring the flavor of food/goodness. Here the spices are so overwhelming they are turning entire food bitter!

CVs don't care even about making JA No.1 given a choice they would rather cling to MA & Ruk!

I agree with every word you've written here. Trust me, it wasn't easy for me to mention religion. That's not me. I cant stoop down to being disrespectful towards a religion, caste or a clan. I can confidently say that have never written or said anything offensive about any group...ever. But lately, I was saddened to see a lot of people on the forum mocking Rajvanshis. Not sure why they like doing it. Rajvanshis never asked the dialogue writers to write Rajvanshi chants. In fact, most Rajvanshis I know hate these repetitive and unnecessary dialogues which set them up for bashing.
I know that the dialogue writers of this show are beyond help but this forum has some codes of conduct. There is a forum rule against mocking Religion/ castes/ clans... Some people are repeatedly breaking that rule and getting away with it. I brought it to the notice of mods. Probably my request slipped through the cracks. I didn't even see a gentle reminder on those threads. I couldn't think of anything else but write something which is not derogatory but is noticeable. I believe that respect is a two way street. And the rules should be applied to all. Being secular is great...being pseudosecular is not. It is sad that while a gentle request was ignored, this won't stay unnoticed.
If I offended you or someone else, i apologize because that was not my intention. If I find something objectionable, I cant do the same thing to someone else and feel good good about it.
