Guys, I have a few work things coming up so will be back soon. But, thanks so much for the love and support.

Just to be clear, all views are welcome on this thread and to that matter anywhere on this forum no matter what anyone says.

For those who are positive / cheerful about the episode, how can critical points dampen that if you truly liked the episode? In any case, if you have reasons that you liked what was disliked, I would share it so maybe those who didn't like it may appreciate it.

Similarly, if you didn't like it - get it out of your system! That is always the best solution and you have all seen me vent at some point or the other.

It is all views that make the world and you always have to see both sides of the coin to appreciate your own stand as Lashy described.

Divya,
This soil is more important than the sons or daughters of the soil.So we all belong to this soil though some of us don't stay in India.Though there is diff of opinions but tomm when somebody points fingers at our country ,we all will come together like ladies came today. So from a month from now the country celebrates its Independence Day and we will share a single thread for it.

Yes Rashmi I do, India for me is an idea - an idea of Inclusivity - and in my opinion, the only one who has embodied this idea in letter and in spirit was Akbar - and that is why he is Akbar the Great.

Well I m not from India. But I do love this country as It was India who supported and help us so much during our liberation war. It was India who fought in UNESCO for us. It was India who first gave Bangladesh the sikrity of being an Independent country. And also because my dadi spend her childhood there.

I read that thread too. But it was closed before I could comment. The temple issues were brought up to insist that Akbar was not an all out Ameri fanboy, but it ultimately gathered heat and discussions went overboard. But the TM was called a basher right on page 1 even before any sensitive issues came up. If she felt that Jalal was reduced to a begum in distress while Jo was hailed as the hero in action what was wrong about it? Isn't she entitled to her opinion? Is Jodha Chaalisa the only meaning of positivity?

Sandhya thanks for info.I only thought whether true or false ,that comment was very sensitive .I feel there are people from other countries too and why such comments in front of them."Ghar ki Baat ghar mein hi Raahe."

obviously, we can have diff of opinions but religion shouldnt come inbetween. gud & bad, strong or weak doesnt depend on any religion. thts the thing i actually liked today. today it was not about jodha, it was about evry harem lady. so not only a rajvanshi even a mughal woman is as brave as her. it was not about a rajvanshi or a mughal but its about women power which is not dependent on any religion. but i would have enjoyed it if jalal wasnt shown captive. jalal's weakness is spoiling mood. people think tht if we r talking about weak jalal we r against jodha fighting. no thts not the case. if equality is there noone will complain about anything.
