Divya, today we had the 1st bit of news - Maan Singh and Asaf Khan had defeated Rajah of Panna and Ghazi Khan. Significant since it finds mention in the Akbarnama - Vol 2, Chapter 46 - the beginning of the 8th year of Akbar's reign, i.e. 1563-64. Since this happened at the beginning part of the reginal year we may assume this to be the 1st quarter - i.e. between March-May 1563 - most probably I would put this as May 1563 - which means its time for AK's death after the murder of Atgha Khan - followed by the end of MA (and her final saazish on Akbar).

I totally loved Jalal getting distracted by Jodha...😳 now, she should be banned playing with Rahim in garden when Jalal is busy at DEK.😆 the guy is a goner!😆

Good take Divya... But the episode is boring .

I liked Jalaal gold frame JOdha gift "AKBAR", telling Ruku that JO learned Urdu & gifted him it, also her intention... When Ruqu asked what she should call him now, he remembered JO saying him "AKBAR" .. As usual Ruku rant " She hates JO" why jalaal had to say that "intention" word when he very well know that Ruqu is jealous of JO..

Someday this jealous will make Ruqu do some harm to JO.

Shahnaaz is the most foolish character how can she believe MAC ?

Atleast Jalaal told Jo that MAC doesn't like him... I just want to say Jallu get back to work ? War is coming

Why this meena Bazar ? That too Khaas begums ? Just like JO Khas meena bazar , Khass begum I to don't understand what's this ?

I think this Jo will get to know Shehnaz truth in meena bazar ?

Waiting to see how MAC character will develop & how she will impress with her acting.

In the backdrop when we are having such deadly assassins and villains in the loose...MC, MA, Shehnaaz, Shareef, Adham etc.. They were alternating MC's bhayankar scenes with Jalal's puppy love.. Shehenshah not paying attention to Atgah's words was a bit😕 ...somehow it didn't sit too well with me..

- And we definitely need to talk about war ... Atgah will give a status update on Maan Singh ⭐️

- Divya loves Todarmal ... So let's show him walking out of the DEK 😆 (Okay, if I make fun of others, I also make fun of myself)

- Some folks were missing Ruqaiyya yesterday so let's bring back her favorite dialogue ... I will not forgive you Jodha Begum. 😉

- Some folks were also missing Maham Anga and a smart villain so we can have Maham Anga find out about Shehnaaz 👏

- We have never shown Jodha win Meena Bazaar so let's have a Meena Bazaar so she can win ... 👏

But, yet somehow, it looks like they made no one happy ... However, I was entertained by the episode and actually found a few ironies in the episode that were interesting and that is what will make my take 5:

(1) There MahaC is playing a big plan to remove Jalal from his takth , and here her son Hakim Mirza is doing little shararats to bring Jodha-Jalal closer together.

By the way, have to hand it to MahaC that even her blind aide is more effective than Jalal's seeing aides. 👏

But, I was also mightily impressed that Jalal knew that MahaC hated him (at least he recognizes one enemy) and even sent spies in Kabul - but the poor woman was caught. 👏

Small mercies? 😆

Dude, you're seriously in for a very rude shock 🤣

And yes, the Akdha scene was cute, but what was new about Jalal loving Jodha. Am I missing something? Anyways, I will take the sugary sweetness. 😳

And, I am very curious how Hakim Mirza will become grey/negative as in history.

(2) Jalal is going through the perfect phase of a love-struck emperor, while Maan Singh is busily fighting it out in the battlefield.

Every king in history I think has a phase where he is distracted by his love ... I am giving Jalal one day to be distracted ... Now, that day is done. Jalal now get to work like you were talking about yesterday.

I don't mind his love-struck phases.. but I wish they didn't alternate it with entry of something so dastardly like MC it's making Jalal appear like he's not on top of things.. and neglecting his duties..

MahaC this is the perfect time to attack ... CVs please get this track over quickly.

And, next time, please send Jalal on the war. 😉

(3) Ruqaiyya continues to suffer from significant insecurity and jealousy over Jodha ... What could be a better way to address that then by having a Meena Bazaar between the three khaas begums. Jalal, you are a genius!

I have to hand it to Jalal- he knows Jodha will win, so for efficiencies he invited only three begums for the Meena Bazaar. 😆

Now, Ruqaiyya will have one more reason to hate Jodha in case she had begun to develop a soft corner.

Meena Bazaar is for renewing enemity between Begums 🥱

(4) Maham Anga thinks Jodha is smart enough to send Shehnaaz behind her ... When Jodha does not even know Shehnaaz is acting.

Maham Anga's superwoman capabilities continue to amaze me ... Important news always reachea her first. She should know by now that the CVs only bestow these powers to her.

(5) While Shehnaaz wants to wear Jalal's crown, she gives Jodha the idea to make Jalal a crown that unites the customs of the two religions.

While I think it is a wonderful idea, I wish Jodha had come up with it herself. Let's see how the scene plays out.

I wonder what idea Hoshiyar will give to Ruqs tomorrow or whether he will get a slap.

Does Shehnaaz's smirk mean she wants to stir some controversy with the crown, e.g., stirring up the anger of the Maulvis?

Okay a big question: In the Shehnaaz- Maham Anga face-off ... If Shehnaaz knows that Maham Anga does not want her truth out in front of Jalal and that is why she has not gone to Jalal yet ... Then obviously, Jalal is not behind the kidnapping of Chaand Begum. Am I missing something?

Jalal ke screws deele ho gaye kya? Why this Meena Bazaar that too as a competition now, that too between his 3 khaas begums unless he wants to irk ruks to commit worse follies? And why just khaas begums? I am as uncomfortable as jo was. Meena Bazaars were supposed to be shops for sale of goods. It was no competition and there were no winners during the first two mbs. In the first jalal purchased the shawl for 1 lac ashrfiyan. Bas. In the second he purchased 3 shawls perfumes and holi colours. There was no winner then either. Only the third mb saw ben win the kohinoor. (Btw where is the diamond now? ) Now mbs have become official competitions!
