A different perspective on Thursday epi.!

but when I sat down to think abt it i realised that he was not so wrong in forgiving her either. I agree that ruqqaiya has not done something small but we have to remember that she has been through a lot too for jalal. She has no family except jalal,HB and gulbadan begum. To lose their respect and to fall in front of all those begum as of the harem would have killed her. She only has her pride to sustain her in the mad house of Agra and she has been using that to survive in the harem filled with numerous wives of jalal for god knows how many years. She has shared her whole childhood and half her adult life with only jalal as an anchor, they have shared millions of beautiful memories and now because of her one mistake ( I agree a huge one) it is not easy to forget all those good times when she has supported him wholeheartedly. She has been a part of his life forever and it's not easy to cut off someone u have spent a decade with. We r all wondering how can they forgive her crime so easily but then it is not easy for jalal to do so but even in 21st century don't spouses or partners forgive their partners for mistakes like infidelity, lying and so on. It is sometimes necessary to let go of ur bitterness and pain and see the bigger picture and forgive ur friend or wife or husband if that relationship is important enough for u. As jodha said ruqqaiya is in the only friend jalal has in this world and he realises that cutting her off from his life or taking her pride away by letting everyone know will end up killing her. Sometimes all we need is a scare to make us stop doing something destructive and ruqqaiya has had that yesterday when she realised how close she came to losing jalal forever. And also the fact that she has hurt him so badly and he is still forgiving her will end up making her feel more guilty and sometimes our guilt is a worse punishment than any other. I do believe that ruqqaiya will still hate and insult jodha as she needs to constantly prove to herself that she is still important to jalal but when it comes to jalal I believe she will be in such a guilty frame of mind that she will think a million times before doing anything to hurt him.

As for jodha I agree she has not improved her own situation but she did something she felt was right in the long run for the man she loves. She wants HIM to be happy n loved by everyone and she knows that punishing ruqqaiya n separating from her will be a very painful n huge punishment for jalal also. All she did was try n save her husband from the pain of losing his best n only friend.

I would love to hear ur views on this n all the brickbats u throw at me😊

i feel that ruq may insult jodha again

and again it will not matter to her

why this partiality

why then can MA not be forgiven

as MA linked her with her brother

and ruq just hurt jalal but not jodha
