I agree, Ruku is a Mughal queen, she cannot be humiliated in public. Jalal did best to control his temper, in the most trying of circumstances. That is what a good ruler does,. he does not let his emotions get the better of him. As the horror of the situations sinks in, he will be devastated.

His not speaking to her and ignoring her will be more painful to Ruq than any harsh words.
