Hi Mansi..! Brilliant analysis !👍🏼
I just loved yesterday's episode includes suspense , thriller moments , power packed actions and beautiful akdha moments which looks icing on the cake..!
Its a edgy episode , while each situation turns up positively..I loved loved when JaJo 's confident in moving out this tough phase so easily..Even I was deliberately waited for this moment..Where if we could get scene in which Jodha saving him throughout thick n thin..Yesterday the beautiful JoJa's unique dimensional way of their relationship status..It doesn't looks forced as i felt script was like a flow and lively through out the episode which makes it brilliant..
As i was expecting as they are most brave king and queen , why can't we get such type of scripts in which we got yesterday..The gradual transformation of love , trust , emotional bonding , signalling souls talks now it looks so mature , how it looks beautiful when they were healing their wounds for each other..The happiness and rejoice in Jalal's face in countless , that so much of satisfaction..As a king he was rewarded to have Jodha as his precious gem..Here I could see my old Jodha who could sensing his each presence , rectifying and clarifying to solve out his each hurdle..They are just damn perfect for each other...Its just a fantastic episode..👏
No force in romance , its just come out as flow ,,I don;t know how far their love testing could be done..For them its all soul connection and unspoken words which makes them so special..As their love helping them to overcome all hard phase in their life..And I felt it will be so powerful with great impact , when they joining hands together and solving out issues..😃
I loved Atgha and his loyalty performance ..Hope in coming week , may be Atgha get clues about AK and their it starts.😊

Remember folks, that scene when Jodha in Amer was once told by her mother that the King always walks ahead and the Queen follows. And Jodha said to her mother "But Mother the King and Queen should walk together so that the praja can follow them." Yesterday I saw a King and Queen walk together and I will never forget this feeling of pride I got that in this world there are some men who know how powerful womanhood really is. Thanks Jalal and Jodha. And thanks Ekta!

Totally with you above. A well executed and balanced episode - hope they maintain the momentum and keep dishing good episodes. It's just sometime they forget their own work. The sword play/lep exchange -that's the Jalal and Jodha I knew and loved.

However, I can't stop from praying for Ruqaiyya's track to end asap. The new promo can we expect it to be the continuation of good work by the CV's - a more divine connection between the two. Because I want Jalal to put and acknowledge Jodha as first and closest to him despite of Ruqaiyya's presence and not because Ruqaiyya is not in the picture anymore and that's why Jodha is getting the special 'audha', place or position in Sultanate and his life.

It is something that we yet to see, especially in public. Yesterday was a small glimpse of the Mughals appreciating and acknowledging Jodha and her capability. Because somewhere I still feel Jodha's role as secondary, sometimes because she herself, sometimes because Jalal submission to Ruqaiyya's whim and of course also because of the ploys done by the villains in the story.

Let's hope that she rises and have a deserved position in Jalal's life and Sultanate even tough Ruqaiyya is there harping that she is BEK and MUZ.

Yes Gheet, yesterday's episode was a very very happy siurprise, but the new promo also looks divine, so maynbe next week is also going to be sensational. Let's see ...

Great post Mansi, for a great episode!

I am so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so Happy, after so many days we've got to see such a great episode! I was all emotional yesterday after 4 days we got the most happening episode ever!

I loved the thorn scene and an authoritative Jalal, when he asked Jodha to show her feet, she was smiling and happy from inside. 😳

The net scene and when Jodha falls in his arm was so good! Wow! and his standard smirk! Romantic hona koi Jalal se sikhe! 😆

JJ rocked in the sword fighting! Too good! They were awesome! and a Jalal who was proud of Jodha was so cute to watch!

Precap: is a watch out! Ruqaiyya might decide to take sword fighting classes now that her pregnancy idea has flopped to the T. 😆

Hehehe ... this Jalal wants romance even standing the middle of dead sipahis! If he gets half a chance to be private he is not going to miss it!

Hi Mansi,

I was waiting for your analysis, today. And, this writeup is, as usual very beautiful. Read the update, last night, and it happened to be a beautiful episode. Will watch the episode later.

The episode was symbolic in many senses. JJ, for the first time Did Havan together. The panditji's wish for 'their' progeny, which was acknowledged by both. First time, they fought together. Jalal's insistence to 'punish' the attackers as they 'dared' harp upon him and his 'khas' begum. First time, Jodha fought using 'shamsheer' with Jalal. We all know she was the ONLY lady in Mughal Era to have a cavalry 'rank' of 12,000. We saw the reason for that 'rank' yesterday. Her fighting skills came in handy yesterday.

Precap:
Jalal saying that in future he will take Jodha with him everywhere. And in reality also Akbar took Jodha with him even during wars. So, can we assume that precap dialogue is a step forward in that direction.?.?. New Development..

Promo:
You know why i/we LOVE this story of Jodha-Akbar. Why we are stuck to this story.?.. The 'UNIQUE' feature is evident in the promo. Two people from different cultures can bond so well, despite all restrictions. Breaking all barriers of religion. Marx said in 1840's - 'Religion is the opium of masses'. Jodha-Akbar is ONE STORY which has proved him wrong.!!.
Even today when we talk of rationality, a story as unique as theirs is not found barring all prejudices..

When we start losing hope the serial gives something and holds us back. :)

Abhay, now I can understand why Jodha had a cavalry rank of 12000 and accompanied Jalal on wars. She truly was a warrior herself ... and I don't mean that in the limited understanding that she was good at war. See how she fights for righteous causes as if her life depends on it. She defends those who cannot defend themselves. To be that kind of greater warrior is what makes her an ideal companion to a great King. In fact as they say behind every man there is a woman, but behind every Great King surely there has to be Great Queen? Why does public memory not celebtae her as Jodha the Great? I wish they would!

I always had this thought that Ekta is all about polygamy, extra marital affairs, two women behind one man or vice versa...but with yesterday's epi Ekta has earned some amount of respect in my eyes...not that Ekta would be bothered but I will be really bothered if I dont give her that respect after last nights epi.

U know Maansi, when Jodha was taking care of Harem, I had this wish that out of the changes that Jodha brings in I really wanted her to start up with some kind of martial arts training for all the Harem inmates so that during war these ladies also can defend themselves when threatened. My disappointment was more than compensated with the wonderful visuals of jodha and jalal teaming up to slice up their foes..both equal footed and Jalal not even once had an blink of concern that Jodha maynot be able to withstand the attack...Such was his immense faith in her warrior-ship.

Great take Maansi...thank u.

Yes it does look like Ekta too has her heart in this serial, na? Some of the episodes are absolute gems. Wish we got more of those!

Mansi, an amazing analysis as well.

I am usually a silent reader but I feel yesterday's episode warrants few words.😆

What can I say about Jalal and Jodha, they just blew me away. Episode like this is the reason why I put up with so much crap CVs throw at us. Yesterday's episode shows again given half decent scenes and dialogues by CVs, Paridhi and Rajat are capable of coming up with amazing performances.

For Jalal to completely trust Jodha's skills and actively encourage her to not only to keep herself safe but also have his back is just wonderful to see. This is a man who would never try to stifle Jodha from reaching her full potential. This wonderful man just amazed me. Even though Jalal is always praising Jodha , yesterday we saw that they are not empty words. He sees her as a steel magnolia not a shrinking violet.

My tigress Jodha is back.😃 Her fighting alongside Jalal was such a treat to watch. This is the Jodha and Jalal I fell in love with.

OMG, what a sensational paragraph you have written there. hats off! Steel magnolia is the right way to describe her!

Dear Mansi,

I am still wondering what we saw yesterday was real ..or it was a dream.. It was actually a dream episode... just spectacular.. mesmerising.. amazing to see Jalal-Jodha in action as a team. Fab episode!! I am still in a hangover ... The last para of your superb analysis of an equally master episdoe aptly sums it all.. The King and Queen should walk together... Wow loved it.. And so they did and I think from now on they will always walk together..

I think CVS are correctly showing the journey of Jodha- the ordinary begum.. to Mallia--Hindustaan.. the Queen of Hindustaan..the title which she does not only get because she is the most beloved wife of Jalal but because she deserves it rightfully. She earns it.. and as Jalal had previously said in Amer ..Hum kisis ko bhi woh cheez nahi dete .. Jo usne khud mehnat se Kamaaii naa ho." Jodha really earns and deserves this title.. She is courageous brave rajvanshi and at the same time she is most humble, down to earth, good humam being wtith a heart of gold.. Jalal wants a capable life partner and has found one in Jodha who would make him proud.. to be called her husband ... He was beaming with pride as he was praising her skills.. and how he loved to see his Baaghin in full action .. He never had thought that she actually could fight with enemies hand in hand with him.. She actually had taken the avtaar of Kaalimaa... Durgaa.. yesterday..

You are 100% right. We are seeing not just how Akbar became the Great but how Jodha became the Mallika -e-Hindustan. Imagine in the 16th century a terrific young man encourages his terrific young wife to do great acts of heroism with full faith in her and in destiny! What can I say ... this is legendary!

I have always wanted to see Jodha and Jalal fighting together with swords against enemies and i got that today, finally!! Jalal (Rajat) is always a treat to watch when he uses swords but today Jodha (Paridhi) was sone pe suhaga. I loved their first sword fight when they were on opposite sides but this I equalloy loved because they were fighting together. Paridhi despite of ghahra and choli did an amazing job and looked like a warrior. Jidha practicing skills and fighting with enemies are differfent things and glad jalal trusted her and asked her to show her skills. It was so sweet to c Jalal proud of his wife and her skills and showing off to other people while humbly downplaying his own amazing skills! Not all man can do this even 21st century man bec sometimes their ego comes in between.

I alslo loved it when jalal took out the thorn and jodha admiring him and then Jalal catching Jodha in his arms. Jodha caressing jalal's face and then applying lep to each other.

I would love to c Akdha fighting again together against enemies- hopefully thos is foreshadowing that Akdha will be one team against others.

I loved the new promo. It shows how their loved united and erased the boundaries of religions and merged them- it is pure, divine love. No wonder Jodha Akbar are still remembered today!

Already swordfighting is a strenuous thing for a man but at least his clothes are made for that. But imagine how much greater it is a for a woman to excel in those times when clothes were so heavy and skirts were voluminous and she had to keep on all that jewelry! What a daring and feisty woman she is!
