Hi Ela,
Have been a recent but avid reader of your posts on this forum...and simply could not resist registering to post a reply on this thread.
Absolutely agree that this is the worst possible timing for SR, realistically if a hubby received news of a long awaited pregnancy, he would be caring, tender and affectionate towards that wife...the thought of making love to another one (that too on the same night) is just yuck!!!
And Jo ... she has always been "hum aapke aur Rukaiya begaum ke madhya nahin aana chahte" where is her dignity (or sense of righteousness) now...
As a woman it is natural to expect that husband always respects and holds dear the wife (if not out of love) than atleast by the virtue of being mother of his child! frankly i don't want JO to become the "other woman" in this mess, which she will as Ruck and JA will be parents together
Discussing this with my mom she gave an interesting POV which somewhat supports SR...we as audience know this to be a fake pregnancy...for Jo and Ja this is a real one and not a "track" which will get over soon...if they keep holding out on it ... this being a polygamous marriage, there will never be a right time! ... even then, SAME NIGHT ... YUCK!!!
