@Bold - I saw a DT note somewher saying htat this show is not HISTORICAL. Its historical fiction (whatz that suppose to mean I wonder?), so it has been modified to suit the fictional story.

So lets leave facts to rot in history pit somewhere. Let's talk sense...common sense.

The very idea that Ruks will be so dumb to come up with the most unsuccessful plan, if it got executed. It would have been unsuccessful because...

a. They would have found out that Rukaiya did it. Jalal WILL find it out.

b. There will not be a jashn at all, so no point Rukaiya being overjoyed Jodha will have to attend alone

c. Hardly Jalal is going to land on her lap...all the hakims in the world will be there to figure out what happen. And the entire Harem will be cramped in his room with Jodha sticking to him while HB holds them both together

So will Rukaiya who grew up with Jalal, who had all the exposure to ruling/planning/scheming that Jalal had come up with such half baked idea? How so believable.

This is the level of CV's confidence in the viewers (in TRP Janta, not ppl like us...I protest if I am put in that category) lack of sense or intelligence

That is what the episode was all about. Oh, the CREATIVENESS of them...simply out of this world. So Ruku go through the pain of practically drowing a flower in some drug and failed only to have the love birds in all theif full sparkles and shimmers checking out a CAVE... !!

And Jodha Begum who CAN NEVER feel when Jalal is almost skin to skin next to her (like when she was praying to Surya bhagwan) have tremendously sharp hearing...she hears everything, especially in dark caves.

Aiyoo kadavule...pavam this Jalal. What type of begum he have??

Nice n logical post!!
After watching yesterday's epi the only question left in my mind was '' WHY CVS R HELL BOUND ON PROVING RUKS STUPID VAMP??''. WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF JALAL HAD ACTUALLY FAINTED??
N by the y why cvs thought that despite jalal being in fainted situation jashn will take place.!!
i dont believe that Real Rukkaiya was even slightest of what cvs r showing (I wont go on her relation with jalal, not even on the basis of of what most of people in this forum share)
now coming to question regarding trp audience.
TRP!! Ye kis chiriya ka naam hai?? As far as I have read regarding TRP calculating procedure its not calculated on the basis of each n every viewer rather its limited to certain region n then approximation is taken. Cvs r geting response on the basis of limited regions n want to prove that this is what viewers demand!!
No no not at all!! I being one among million viewers dont demand such craps n degradation of Real Historic figures.
They r showing crap in the name of so called EPIC LOVE STORY!!
In fact forget about epic, their is
nowhere proper love story!!
They have simply taken risk of portraying a story using historic figures but they dont know how to tackle those risks!!

Actually history or no history ruku isnt so dumb tht she wont be aware of pros nd cons. She was the person who claims tht she rules on jalal's mind so how can she make a silly plan? Yes she isn't evil like maham but she isn't dumb as well. Even if she makes a plan she will try sumthing better. She wont take any step which can spoil her relationship with jalal.

The TRP janta clearly loves this kind of plotting. EK has been making highly watched shows for more than a decade. And this kind of drama has been consistent in them along with all her earlier dramas revolving around a super-rich (royalty in their own right) and large joint families.

I was really young when these dramas were on air. But I had the misfortune of watching them in bits and parts when my family had just one TV. To tell you the truth, I found them disgusting. A girl trying to wrench her sister's husband away from her, family members plotting to achieve their ends at any cost, fake pregnancy, fake illnesses, false names, plastic surgeries... and what not. All of it seemed unbelievable. I couldn't believe that a family so rich, filled with educated elite could behave like this. But treachery amongst rich and elite is common as I found only later, when I was older.

Ruqaiya's scenario is understandable. She is very insecure. Though she continuously says to herself that 'Jalal sirf humare hai', the truth is he never was really hers. To lose him, she first had to own him. And Jalal can't be owned by anyone. He offers himself totally and unconditionally to people he loves by his own choice, those people hardly ever win him over totally. He turns on them in the face of good evidence and serious complaints.

Whether it is the rich and elite now or the royalty then, everybody has survival instincts. Jealousy and hate can bring out the worst in people. The Mughal princes killed their own brothers, uncles and uncles children to gain the thrones. Didn't they have Shahi Khoon (royal blood) running in their veins? Weren't they exceptionally educated by the best tutors in various languages and subjects? Still they revolted against their fathers, killed some of their best advisors and killed their kin. So, can't the Mughal princesses behave the same? They have the same royal blood but definitely not the training in warfare that their male counterparts have. Thus, they rely on devious plans and potions in small crystal bottles. Also, poison has been widely considered a woman's weapon, is it not?

Uske comparison main Ruqaiya's plan is almost childish. That can be blamed on jealousy clouding her judgement. Anger has made her dim-witted and she is unrecognizable from the earlier Ruqaiya. But anger and lust for power are known for making people detached from the previous selves. This is also a side to her. Just like Jalal and Jodha have different dimensions to them, so does Ruqaiya.

If being of only royal blood and having an elite education, made one a good person or capable of taking great decisions, then Jalal would have never become Akbar. His blood is only half royal and he is uneducated. According to 'royal blood logic', he should have been an outright barbaric but he isn't.

Similarly it isn't necessary Ruqaiya would always justify her education or royal blood. Especially when she believes her audha is under threat, something which is very dear. Infact she is kind of justifying her pure royal blood, her lust for power is greater than the importance she places on relationships.

cvs ding this crap to stretch the track and to gain trps.If cvs wants to show ruks in badlight means they should show ruks plotting in well and dignified manner but not in this silly and commical way.What.s this cvs are short of ideas they are using snow white stories in ja.Ruks is evil queen and hosiyar is mirror😆

dude, ruqaiya in reality was bad. royal blood or normal blood,when it comes to survival, anyone can do anything. there were royalties with royal blood who were bad. read historygeeks's posts on JA not being fiction. they will tell you what ruqaiya was

TRP Janta finally gave a Zatka mandy ! 😆 And I'm expecting more zatkas in coming weeks.

Ruqaiya was more a fool than evil, her idea was not only cheap but a suicide bomber if exploded would have resulted in her permanent banishment, not from Agra but from Jalal's life. She was lucky that Hoshiyar's loyalty (dunno for whom ? Jodha or Ruqaiya) saved her from disgrace. Even a naive can easily guess what it costs to do such a hideous prank with an Emperor, it was plain dumb.

I do not believe real Ruqaiya was evil or lets call it bad ! She may have been a lady with grey shade but evil ? sorry ! I need a solid proof to believe it which I'm sure do not exist at least on earth 😉.

Its all CVs who are butchering her character, reason ? Indian audience cannot digest the concept of a hero loving two females. One of them has to be sidelined and degraded so much that we end up hating her sand automatically the hero-heroins story becomes "epic".

In fact I'm expecting more crap from Ruqaiya so that finally CVs can move towards the royal consummation (Lol, what a weird word I've come up with 😆). So be prepared for more such pathetic plans from her.
