I think one should be able to praise and also critisize them according to how the character is portrayed in the show. Critisizing your fans actions doesnt mean that you hate them but it shows you are intelligent enough not to be a blind hardcore fan.

cannot agree more👍🏼

Jalal pardoned adham many times just bcoz of his emotions towards maham. So do we support tht? No bcoz thts wrong. Here rahim's life was in danger. So strong steps should be taken about shehnaaz. If shehnaaz is a kid then also she should have been scolded strictly. But prob is jalal is still in his guilt mode nd salima simply emotionally blackmailed jalal. If she really wanted to be a peacemaker she should have gone to jodha nd tried to explain her why jalal reacted. Wht if it was sum other kid in place of rahim ? Can salima give the same argument to tht other kid's parents? Regarding jodha's feelings for shehnaaz jalal wasn't punishing shehnaaz he was just sending her back for her treatment. Nd besides jodha's dialogue "bacho k sath to ye hota rehta hain" was really careless. Its time the CVs should show jalal taking his own decisions. Not get influenced by anyone even if its jodha, salima or HB. Just like wht he did in tasneem case. He gave the case to maham, heard her views but in the end he did wht he wanted to do.

munni, well said! its the entry into the fort we are talking about which was next to impossible in those days, only after thorough investigation was someone allowed to enter and none of that was done in shehnaaz's case!

Mandy, in yesterday's epi, the only one spking logic was our TE - when he spoke of sending Shehnaaz back to Mathura for treatment - and as of now he has not retracted his stand - hence let us not rush to conclusions - yes, Jodha has told Shehnaaz that she can stay - and TE has told Jodha that he does not want acrimony on their anniversary but that does not end this debate yet - and if my reading is correct then he plans to wait for a couple of days before he brings this issue up - but before that he may even get suspicious of Shehnaaz and decide to keep her close.

Let us see how this plays out - but as of now TE has been non-committal which I like.

Adi, i agree to what you have said about our TE, he is the only one who took the wise decision as per situation and was supported by ruk even though her intentions were evil!

Jalal's decision to send her to Mathura was the correct one. And even Jo would have agreed if she wasn't emotionally attached to her. This attachment is the problem. This is Jodha's fatal flaw that she gets attached very easily. But post Rahim incident, she should have taken some action against Shehanaaz. Restricting her movement, chiding her, keeping a close eye on her etc. Emotional attachment to a mad person isn't a bad thing, but precautions should be taken for their well-being and for the rest of your loved ones. This is where Jodha and Salima (her reaction was unreal) lacked.

very good point ann👍🏼

Mandy, this is best post i have read in recent times. Please write more of these unbiased and thought provoking posts. Loved reading it.

This is a very difficult question, I might go with Ruqz here though her intentions are not right but what she said made perfect sense.

i am honored sweetheart by your most adorable comment😊

folks, again the emotions versus practicality quotient had a spill over into thursday's episode..jodha and HB were again oblivious to evil mind of maham and wanted jalal to patch up with her...jalal is way too much hurt to even see maham's face..she reminds him of a deep pain that a mother can ever give to her son..the forgiveness will not be that easy but do u guys think jalal should forgive maham?...pl share ur views!

No...Jalal should not and will not forgive Maham...because he's seen her selfishness when he'd confronted her alone. At that moment Maham, unfortunately for her, had shown Jalal her real ugly, selfish face in front of him...
This is not only practical but more than that an emotional decision for Jalal to not forgive Maham.
In fact, if Jalal will think practically then he's losing on advice of a shrewd, intelligent wazir for his empire...he still doesn't know the whole truth...so he's more driven emotionally here...what to say yet again??? coz again, here his heart is involved and scathed.😭

excellent point raised mishti..here more of emotions are involved because of the age old relation and that she has done a lot for him, but her hatred towards non-muslims is not justifiable here..akbar wants a secular state wheras maham is not on same page as him!

No, definitely not.

Nothing much to say what Maham has done to Jalal. Obviously he is deeply hurt. And I dont think that forgiving a sin like this is necessary at all.

Forgiveness is indeed a great virtue but we must see whether the person deserves it, if the person is really feeling guilty. No na, Maham boasts that she has done no wrong, even she didnot show the required respect to Jodha while she said 'pranam'. So much is her audacity that she can ignore a begum in fornt of the shahensah.

Emotion is good but too much of anything can ruin your life. And an emperor should be above all emotions while justice is most important.
