But I have a feeling Jalal is sure to catch some heat from the Maulavies for this recent act of idol worship. Adham will make an issue out of it and take advantage of the situation.

One more thing, try desitvbox, com for the online episodes. That's a good site and the episodes are up within 10 min max of the airing.

thank you sam..i watched on desi tashan..my laptop does not have the virus protection, therefore i avoid such sites, but today i had no choice...was desperate to watch the epi..had to squeeze some time out of my busy routine..and thanks for liking my post..yes great people become great only with their good deeds and not by pleasing their own people!

It is normally Bahu in our customs n South Asia culture who adopts in laws customs but here with all her greatness she never show any inclination towards her inlaws culture , custom and religion ..even show certain type of rigidity ... Her manju although keep giving, all credit to her for all his secular, religious tolerance and good deeds but reality is she is one of most prejudice person for her religion , her cast, custom, culture and ritual shown in this show

I will disagree with few points. We had seen tht jodha herself had taken interest in shahnama. She also learns Quran from rahim, she had prayed in ajmer Sharif in Islamic way. She even wore mughul dress once even though her dadisa gifted a rajvanshi dress. As per jalal's secular views yes its completely his credit. Whtever he had done its on his own. Yes few dialogue of jodha like now I know the diff b/w rajvanshi nd mughals was disturbing but still she had shown interest in mughal culture as well. 2ndly we have to understand its almost a forced marriage so she cant accept the other culture in one go. Nd again its jalal's greatness tht he gives her the freedom to live according to her religion.

I watched the show after a whole month and found the episode well-executed and for a change none of the scenes looked OTT. I guess Santa directed the whole episode.

I din't like the whipping concept of CVs, I would have loved to watch a subtle and more emotional conversation between them, after all its the first sensible one after all the mess created by both. But lets wait and watch 😉

I'm loving it how CVs are handling his transformation into a secular king ! It started during Ajmer Shairf trip when he gave her freedom to pray only if she wants to and completed when the awam gave him quran-e-sharif. I would love if they show Birbal and Fazl's entry post this romance track and focus more on how he propounded Din-i-Ilahi.

thanks shweta, i too would love to see how he propounded din-e-ilahi..! yes, the last two episodes were directed by santa as per sources, that is why better execution, i found the whip part funny, i guess our anari jallu does not know how to romance😆

I guess comparing Jalal and Jodha might be a tad wrong. Jalal was a true secular and respected all the religions equally. Jodha might not be secular but respected other religions equally too. The way she dresses, eats or does pranaam or even talks might not be her rigidity. It's the way she's brought up. Once can't change those inculcated traits. What matters is she respects other religions and even is shown willing to learn about them.

We all know Akbar was completely open minded and a true visionary. So comparing his virtues with her would always lead to disparity.

very well said sam, here we will be comparing apples to oranges!

Yesterday, it indeed showed the broad minded thoughts of an Emperor who respects other religion and accepts it whole heatedly, he has done it past as well, but excelled again. The scene was beautifully directed.

Yes Sara, Sam is right and the announcement in DEK was not because she came in Mughal clothes, but all Begum's names are announced when they enter. She has visited Ajmer Sharff with Jalal. She may not follow or speak their culture, but she respects and accepts it.

.
my point is not tht ...my point is why all credit goes in her lap where he was the one who always more in excepting and respecting others ... jodha was in forced marriage ...but jalal was jalald na ...but jalald was laways shown more kind towards other and she was always self centered... jalal going even against his religious views in his secular vision still all halo is receiing by her ...
she dressed once like Mughal ... but he is the one who shown worshiping kanha ..putting her head in feets of ambe maa,.prostrating to kanha praying to him and folding hands ...he is the one who are showing doing tulsi puja and reciting gayatri manter ..I n my comments I m just hoping to see her offering namaz and reciting some verses ...atleast some time acting and dressing like her Mughal relatives ...why every one jumping on me ... do I m asking for very unusal thing ... when jalal doing all this for one of his wife why cant jodha do for her one and only husband
