hi folks!

watched the epi after a lot of struggle..got lost in finding appropriate website and then finally found one where i could watch in peace but it was stopping in between..bad signal i supose or weak network..whatever appropriate technical term!

the best part of the episode was the sthapna of kahna's murti..many of us will have mixed views..some will think why jodha's welcome was done according to her culture since she is a wife of a mughal..and some will be very happy that akbar respected her beliefs and did the grand welcome her way...now this is what i think...

-this is another episode that shows akbar's secular thoughts on religion

-it was not just kahna's sthapna it was sthapna of lost honor of a hindu begum in mughal household

-it was sthapna of a mughal emperor's love for his hindu begum

-it was sthapna of trust..love..and respect that will be the base of this epic love story

like they say if u want to be treated in a way then treat other people the same way..every action will have its equal and opposte reaction..charity begins at home...akbar being a secular and fair ruler was proved by abolishing the teerth tax and in return the hindu awaam gifted him kuraan..a way of showing respect for his religion..and this was the base of his relation with a united hindustan...and now at home he did kahna's sthapna along with jodha will be the base of a divine foundation of his fair and secular practices at home..ghar aur awaam dono hi ke hain aap zil-e-ilahi..akbar the great i salute you...!

Didn't watch epi but I wish they dare to show jodha open kindness to except his religion ...because she never show any interest in any thing about him , his culture or his religion ...she never even do adab in her inlaws place ...

It is normally Bahu in our customs n South Asia culture who adopts in laws customs but here with all her greatness she never show any inclination towards her inlaws culture , custom and religion ..even show certain type of rigidity ... Her manju although keep giving, all credit to her for all his secular, religious tolerance and good deeds but reality is she is one of most prejudice person for her religion , her cast, custom, culture and ritual shown in this show

Which culture at her in laws place did she show rigidity for?...am I missing something here?...😕...not wanting to change her religion was agreed upon before the marriage.

You are right they agreed that she did not want to change her religion. They still showed Jodha going to holy places to offer prayers and doing namaz along with Jalal, during the tiger attack track.
Also they showed her reading Quran and learning Urdu.
I am sure they will show more of this in further...Jodha will get used to lot of mughal cultures and religion and Jalal towards hinduism.

They never show her offering namaz or Quran ... But yes they now stop showing him offering namaz too ...he now just prostrating to dargh and to kanha

They showed her learning urdu ... But every one in Agra ...from maham, Ruqayya, Mirzah hakim, to atga can read, write and speak hindhi and jalal can also, speak many languages...so this is not any thing special which other can't do ...

Episode may be good but I am just saying I want jodha to show and start practicing Mughal side of things instead of just taking credit without doing any thing special

I say certain rigidity... First of all normally even today bahus start to dress like inlaws ... Atleast they mix it ...but she is always rajwanshi rajwanshi and rajwanshi... Once she wore Mughal outfit on almost pleading of her saas ...n there was big announcement of her arrival in DEK like she won some war for Mughals not wear there dress😆...
Even today my sister in law my dewar I came from England...she is desi but born London n brought up there n we live in America where also all is in English outside ... But she never speaks in English in house although she is more comfortable in English ... But jodha shown speaking very very hard hindhi in Mughal house hold ... Like she is not ready an inch to except the language of her inlaws ...now when her family gave Jalal their king and son in law reception and respect according to his own culture and religion in amer ...never...

Even when he was Jalal the jallad when he went to amer for wedding it was all jodha.s ritual and when she came to Agra at time of Jalal the jallad again hamida arranged small reception accordingg her liking...

List is very London Khushi ... I have nothing against they show her halo ...but halo should be right na ... All halo is utterly wrong ... At time of fake pregnancy ...she was the once who said now I know the difference btw rajwanshi and Mughal... 😕

I'm sure that the Mods will be forced to close this thread if the discussion continues on this path. Hence, I rest my case.

( I would just like to add that I have never seen Jodha disregarding any culture or ritual at her inlaws place. Following your own religion in no way signifies disrespect for another religion. )

Yeah she learnt it from Rahim and in turn taught him Mahabharata. And she also took interest in ShahNameh. She also told Salima that exchanging cultural and religious outlooks was a good experience. She graciously accepted the Koran given to her by HB. She chose the Mughal dress over her Rajwanshi outfit on one of those important DEK galas. She was learning to write Arabic from Rahim. She observed the Shehenshah and prayed like him at the dargah. She even went along with Shehenshah to Sheikh Salim Chisti's place although she was still recovering from the poison in her body.

Whether you do Adaab or pranaam, both of them are greetings. It's not about how you greet someone but how whole- heartedly you greet them. Atleast she does Pranaam with a pure heart unlike MA, Adham and Sharif who always greet the Shehenshah but backstabbing him.

👍🏼 Jodha has never shown disregard and she has been inclined...she has always been interested in learning ...she even told this to Salima and Shehenshah.

I didn't say she says any thing insulted except (directly said on face of Jalal that she prays for warrior like PRC to through Mughal out and difference btw Mughal and rajwanshi, ).. But she is not ready to except any thing/custom belong to Jalal family ... I didn't force any one to even comment on my comment and Khushi u have very right to make you safe according to majority of forum ... But this is right ...she didn't insult but she never shown to incline towards anything belong to Mughal ...nor language, nor dressing, nor religion ... And this is not any religios talk this is just wrong halo of jodha character ... This always Jalal who shows interest and open kindness for other culture and religions ...and it is always jodha who who gets credit
