why can't they show both loves each other, confession, den consummation..Den only jalal wil get time to solve saltanate issues..Only den he wil become Akbar..

yup actually evryone just wants jodha to show tht passion which jalal shows. jalal loves her so much, he deserves tht passion which he also wants from her. now i want jalal to get busy & jo remembering & getting mad for him. we just dont only jalal to be mad thts ur only point.😉

Quantity can never compensate for quality. A fine actor can manage to stay in your mind with just a 5 minute cameo in a 150 minute film.

As for Jodha last night, or in fact for the last few episodes, she has been looking (a) blank, (b) angry/sulky or both or (c) glaring at some distant object as if she is in the middle of a nightmare.

Her expressions during the aarti in the Kali temple, when she looked all set to offer Jalal's sar to the Devi all over again, were more ferocious than anything else, and when she was questioning Shaguni Bai, she looked less like a virahotkhandita naayika (heroine separated from her beloved) and more like a tax assessee questioning the chartered accountant on the admissibility of a tax deduction. There was no anguish, no longing, nothing.

It was the same yesterday in the tel maalish scene with Shehnaaz. Jodha seemed to be struggling to get some emotion thru that she could not manage to put across.The last closing line was absolutely flat. There was no gentle pleasure at the memory, no coquetry, nothing.

The actress has done much better and can do it. So I no longer know what to make of it. So, if you want more quantity re: Jodha, you would also have to insist on better quality of the direction or the lines.

Couldn't agree more Aunty

Naseeruddin Shah made his presence felt so much when he played the role of a portrait in 'Jane Tu ya Jaane Na' with perhaps 5 minutes total screen time in the movie. Can't forget his expression as his son rings the door bell , coming back home after bashing a guy.
