Loggin in IF after a long time and just got to read your wonderful post Mansi, you weave such magic with words that takes us through the scenes in trance.Keep it up and god bless👏 .
Much awaited scene from MA and Jalal, it was worth watching every minute of it with the actors giving their splendid performance.
As for your thought on MA's love, i feel its the immense love for control over Jalal on every angle emotional , political etc which was threatened by his growing love for Jodha that was slowly bringing out king's good humane soul.
Wish all the worst chaals of MA get exposed and even other traitors too, yes Jalal will be heart broken but we all know "Jodha lep" will be there very soon with him to heal all worst wounds.

Sunny, it was juts a virtually single scene episode, and yet it was so powerful, as you say, that we felt exhausted after watching it. So many layers to Maham and her unhealthy Jalal obsession. We have to admit that very bad people are definitely as interesting as very good people ... maybe more so!

Great episode Mansi and ur review is equally terrific! 👏👏👏
I have nothing to add. You have said it all.
What u aid abt MA's love for Jala - may be because she has no man/love in her life, so she may resent a woman/love in his life. You know the "I don't have it, how can he" type of people? Or because she has no man to lean on, she may have started viewing Jalal as that man. Maybe not when he was a child, but after he grew up. Maybe because of this kind of love, she was never able to directly harm Jalal and get the throne for AK.
But why did she hate Jodha from the beginning? Even when Jo hated Jalal? Did MA feel disgusted that she would have to bow to a Hindu, as she herself said in some early episodes? Or was she afraid of the interest Jalal was showing in the match and Jodha?
Definitely she made a great spectacle of herself last nite. I think the bit about wife vs mother and all those crocodile tears may also have been to emotionally blackmail him. She tried all tactics but to no avail. She who was so confident of her systematic training and brainwashing of Jalal, failed to read the signs. That he was now irrevocably in love with Jodha and would not tolerate anyone, ANYONE, coming between him and her. Well she learnt it the hard way. I'm sure like Ben, she will go with all guns blazing.
Now I"m waiting for Ruq to learn the same lesson - that Jalal can give anyone anything they ask for but not the place in his heart, which is exclusively Jodha's kingdom.
I believe today Shaguni Bai will tell Jodha to go back to Agra/Jalal, may be she will say something like he is in grave trouble and needs her.
A special tribute to Atga and JiJiAnga. 👏👏👏Though I have always bemoaned this man earlier, yesterday, he redeemed himself by daring to expose MA. And he was ably supported in this by his wife who not only explained MA's motives but also encouraged Atga to reveal the truth to Jalal at any cost. Their loyalty to Jalal is so touching when most people around him are traitors.
I couldn't watch poor Jalal after his confrontation with MA. I hope soon the traitors in his life are replaced with loyal people like Atga's family and the nine jewels, apart from Jo, HB and SB.

She is not obsessed with Jalal...she is obsessed with the "takht"...had it been anyone else on the takht, she would have shifted her attention towards him...Maybe we can compare it to Bheeshma pitamah's promise to serve ANY king who sat on the Hastinapur throne...he had noble intentions in his promise, while Maham is all evil
