The preamble:

There have been a lot of debates on this track ... While no one likely believes it, I have always liked Jalal and Jodha equally ... I actually am not critical of Jodha being hurt, leaving Agra, even not forgiving Jalal the first time he asked ... However, her emotions have been a black-box in this track ... I tried convincing myself she is not as expressive as Jalal, but then when she hated him, she was very expressive. And even, if the real Jodha is not expressive, it is the job of the CVs to show her emotions - by giving her time alone, by giving her self-talks, etc. It is their job to convey Jodha's emotions it is not out job to dissect, justify, and interpret it.

Jalal in this track has been extremely nuanced ...his inner turmoil was shown , fighting his mind and brain, his love batting his hurt, every thought was not left to a guess. For Jodha, I wish the CVs had done the same.

Shraddha, has beautifully found closure in the form of penning Jodha's thoughts ...which I will interpret are Jodha's thoughts though she has never said them but they make a lot of sense.

I also found closure in another way: which was finally trying to figure out what the CVs are up to and I think I finally figured it out ... And this is where the fun post begins and I hope you get a smile from it:

The actual fun post if you find it funny:

It looks like they wanted to get from

Point A: Jalal accusing Jodha of adultery misunderstanding Sujamal to be her lover ...
Point B: Jalal reaching Amer to manaofy Jodha in a cute way

But, they wanted to get there without copying the movie one bit ... And hence, took the most complicated route possible.

A conversation with the CV team and the Voice of Logic on how this track came to be:

CV Team: We need a separation track as a critical stage of love ... The movie had a good one but we have to be careful not to show the same thing.

Voice of logic: So, in the movie track Jalal distrusts Jodha because he doesn't love her yet ... But here, Jalal loves her and Jodha has even given her life for him, how can Jalal possibly distrust Jodha?

CV Team: We will show that Jalal trusts Jodha for two weeks ... He will see her meet this unknown man multiple times ... And still show his trust till he finds them in the room together and then he will outburst. That will help us drag the track as well. And those crazy Jalal fans will be happy that he wasn't fully to blame (that's me, guys!)

Voice of logic: Okay, that makes sense- that would be different than the movie where he sees them together only once. But, wouldn't this Jalal ask Jodha first before making accusations?

CV Team: Okay we will make Jodha silent when he asks the question.

Voice of logic: But, Jodha is never silent ... It is out of character.

CV Team: Okay, we will bind her by a promise to not tell the truth ... Sujamal will make her give the promise

Voice of logic: But, wouldn't that make Jodha look at fault for hiding the truth and not saying anything?

CV Team: Just in case, we will let Jodha admit her mistake once. But, the person who shouts always needs to apologize ... (Sindhu, this one is for you- because I actually loved your point here)

Voice of logic: But Jalal was also a victim of circumstances?

CV Team: We will make sure Jalal's words are terrible and he pushes her around to make him even more cruel

Voice of logic: Okay ... So then what, Jodha will get angry and go to Amer?

CV Team: You know we never forget things... Mainavati has made Jodha promise to never come to Amer alone. So, we will detour to Mathura.

Voice of logic: How will a beautiful lady walk safely all the way to Mathura alone?

CV Team: Do you think the viewers care?

Voice of logic: Okay ... So, in the movie we saw a sad Jodha thinking about ajalal with a "Kehne ko jashne bahaara hein" ... Will we see a sad Jodha?

CV Team: I think we will focus on her hurt and anger here. We need to show how women should stand up for themselves.

Voice of logic: But won't she also miss Jalal and be sad.

CV Team: Yes, but the viewers will obviously assume that - why need to waste time showing this!

Voice of logic: But it would help drag the track ... People love to see Jodha/Paridhi show emotions.

CV Team: Really? The last time the TRPs rose to No. 1 Jodha was still and Jalal was crying his heart out. Good idea, let's show Jalal guilty and crying a few times.

Voice of logic: But, he is a Shehenshah, he cannot be crying everywhere ...

CV Team: Our job is to show the human side of him... The love story ... And no one knows he is the Shehenshah.

Voice of logic: So what happens in Mathura?

CV Team: We will have a dramatic meeting of Jodha and Jalal but Jodha will refuse to come.

Voice of logic: How will Jodha get to Amer?

CV Team: We will make Bharmal convince her ...

Voice of logic: What about Mainavati's promise?

CV Team: It is okay she can take it back.

Voice of logic: Can you do that?

CV Team: We can do whatever we want.

Voice of logic: Okay, what about Hamida Bano? She was a good support to Jalal in the movie and encouraged him to apologize.

CV Team: Good point... We should be different. We will have her yell at Jalal instead.

Voice of Logic: That doesn't make much sense... She should understand her son.

CV Team: We will make Bharmal and Mainavati support him instead.

Voice of Logic: Okay... So now Jodha is in Amer, how will Jalal get there after Jodha refused?

CV Team: Jalal will be carried there by Bharmal's soldiers after he is injured.

Voice of Logic: From Mathura! That is too far,

CV Team: How many viewers do you think know the distance!

Voice of logic: And then suddenly we will have cute scenes of Jalal manaofying Jodha?

CV Team: Yes

Voice of logic: Phew, it took us a long route to get here.

In conclusion:

Not sure if you found that funny... But this is the only way I can get over this track and move on to enjoy the rhootna-manana in Amer. CVs, why oh why, did you choose such a complicated route to get there!

I guess the CVs believe that it is the destination that matters and not the journey ...

Anyways, hoping the fun starts now with tonight's episode!

He he Divi. Loved it! 😆 I seriously think CVs don't give much thought to anything except Jalaal. And now that the TRPs are up, I am scared as to the kind of stew we will be served in future. 😵
