Shraddha, It was lovely letter. But, I would like Jodha to include that she loves him too in the letter. I love the part of creases on the his side of the bed part and ittar part- I am a romantic at heart so when i was reading that part I was like awww. Ok now plzzz update ur ff soon. I am going to try to catch u on WA today.

Very well said Shraddha. And your letter was so so so beautiful. Even if CVs will not make screen Jodha write such kind of letter or make her mouth such sensible words, I will assume that she has such thoughts in her mind (At least for me to continue watching JA, I need that assumption). Thanks very much for this Shraddha🤗🤗. I am feeling lot more comfortable now.

I'd written this yesterday morning but a few things from here rang true...🤗

like we wished, looks like Jalal might go away and Jodha might follow him... it will be nice if Jalal doesn't return to Agra and goes elsewhere for political matters... (also doesn't want to return to Agra yet cos of the promise he'd given Ammijaan)

If they patch up, talk properly and have the consummation on their way to Agra as you'd hoped... that's EXACTLY what I hope for too..

This is as eloquent and moving a piece of writing as one could hope to find anywhere. And a very clever, feelgood choice of topic. It also shows that for all your surface anger at Jodha in your comments on my last post, you will remain a diehard romantic, my pet. All you want if for them to fall into each other's arms, and the how be damned!😉 Never mind, it is entirely understandable at your age!

Your exculpation of Jodha is far more straightforward, more comprehensible to those who have no taste for complexity, more acceptable to all those who long to be able to love Jodha - see the uniformly ecstatic reactions above, and many, many more in the same vein will surely follow!

It is also much more astute than even Adiana's esoteric one. It is like a hot knife going smoothly thru butter in its surface plausibility. Well, not merely the surface, but perhaps a few inches down as well!

also, her anger at knowing what she was doing was waging a losing battle made it very believable to me... as of her portrayal in the show I mean... (sorry looks like I missed typing out this line since I was on a school-run rush!)
Jodha Begum's eye reading hunar seems to be very selective: it sees pain and resignation in Jalal's eyes, but not the love. Probably different emotions in another's eyes have varied wavelengths, and love is either in the ultraviolet or the infrared!😉😉

But perhaps Jodha, being so adept at self-justification and incapable of honestly confessing to any of her faults, would choose these very words to gloss over her unbelievably heartless behaviour last night. For she clearly did not care a tinker's cuss that he was half dead. It was not the kind of thing that can be smoothed over so easily, not with me, that is. Jalal of course is busy practicing for the anga pradakshinam, or at the very least a dandavat pranam.So you do not need to worry about him.
True aunty, but somewhere somehow one needs to be able to move on... she is a proud woman when it comes to Jalal.. he is more selfless to her than he is to anyone else and she is more selfish towards him than she is to anyone else.. so, they both behave with each other in 'extremes' if I may say... hence, when she is depicting pride/ghrina whatever it is, she seems to barely budge from her stance...

In that sense, if one were to see this as a cleverly worded piece of sophistry from a very astute Jodha, unwilling to languish long term in Amer without all that being the Shahenshah's sab se khaas begum has to offer her, meant to pander to Jalal's vanity as well as his helpless emotional dependence on her, it is just perfect.
However, I am not sure this is how you meant it to be. Did you? Or did you mean it all seriously?
In a way, yes aunty... at this point she is at the other end of the scale from Kajri...so, this needed to be midway... jumping back at 'I love you and care for you' at this point via a letter from the queen doesn't seem to make a proper character graph...yet, one can sense the longing here...in a way, there needs to be a straight clarification between the various phrases she's used in the past 2 weeks from 'I prem him' to 'I never saw any prem in his eyes' so yes, this letter is midway - I still hope to see a straight face-to-face confession of love between the two...

This is more her admittance of her faults letter and how much she needs him!

For I see that in all of this eloquent self-justification, there is not a single word about her loving him, of caring for him. Only about her needing him - his unstinting support, admiration and caring. It sounds more like a demanding and spoilt mistress than like a loving wife.

But, that she is a bit - at least, with him...isn't she?

If I were the husband, I would note that at once. Of course this Jalal, so pathetically yearning to have the smallest crumb of , what shall I say, notice, need? , thrown at him, will jump at this in profound gratitude. Exactly like a member of the canine species that shall remain unnamed.

Beautifully written, Lashy kanna.

I've always been a fan of your style of writing, and this one is a true masterpiece.

Unlike Jalaal, Jodha is not very expressive nor is she a open book. Not that there is anything wrong with it, just her character trait.

In a way I like it because we have two very different people with very different traits coming together and becoming soul-mates. One goes the extra yard when the other acts stubborn. She ran the xtra mile during Ben track and now he is doing it.

The fact that the creative team have barely shown Jodha expressing herself much during this round of Mu is making me hope that we would have a beautiful confession coming from her and like sunny puttar pointed, I too would be gratified if we can see even a quarter of what you have penned in terms of expressing herself.

I really liked how you ended with our elated Emperor going to pick his eager to be united wifey.Not to mention the little message to the mommy.

I'm hoping we will start seeing the beginning of final pieces of this track tomorrow as me growing impatient due to the needless stretching of the MU.

Excellent Post di! 👏👏👏 Oh how I wish something like this happens in the show as well... You so brilliantly depicted Jodha's POV once Jalal has left. I loved where Jo said ," I have been spoilt in Amer... and I am spoilt in your presence too'. LOVED this bit.😳 The paragraph where you have explained how Jo was so much in shell that she didn't realise that it was her fault as well. But later on, she realised that yes, she was equally at fault. And now she misses his company. LOVED that para so much di..😳 ❤️

I must say, this is one brilliant post I have read in so many days.. 😳 😃 👏 ⭐️Thank you so much for this... Very soothing post and lets the viewers realise that Jo is not bad at all. Its just play of fate that puts her in such situation where she committed some blunders.😛

Seriously di, I was so much disappointed from Jo but this post calmed down my nerves. Superbly written. Keep it up.!👍🏼 🤗
