Lashy, lovely post. But you see I have one major problem - this Jodha is still in romance while my TE has gone into Ishq - and I cannot settle for less from her.

She needs to bare herself completely - including all the darkest corners of her heart and soul - so that the light of love can seep in - till then she will never be a match for him - She has to break her heart into smithereens - cut herself up into infinite strips and weave them into a blanket for her beloved - and then she will be the Jodha I want her to be.

When she goes to him in all her haar shrigaar, this is what I want from her -

Apni chhab banaikay, jo main pi kay paas gayi

Chhab dekhi jab piyu ki so apni bhool gayi.

With my beautiful face all adorned, when I went to the beloved,

I saw his face, and forgot all about my own beauty.

Becoz this is what love does to a person - what it has done to TE - what I want it to do for her -

Inteha yeh hai ke bande ko khuda karta hai ishk

And for this her abhimaan, her ego, her ghamand has to break - and only TE can do that for her I feel.

So though your letter is beautiful, and it brought a tear to my eye - but no I want more - maybe I am being greedy - but I definitely want more!!!!

And as for my not commenting on my Lashykanna's post, she is rather like Jodha. She does not tell me when she writes a standalone thread, but rather like Jodha wanting Jalal to read her in her eyes, she expects me, though I hardly read anything in the forum these days, to somehow locate it by myself. Finally, like Jodha wanting Jalal to come and find her, Lashy will get seriously upset if I did not comment on her thread. Why, when I get late with responding to her comments on my threads, or Tripti's , or Sandhya's, or Sam's, meri to khair nahin!😉

Hmm..the letter was serene and I got an insight of how YOU see Jo and her 'priveledges' in Agra. Cool.

I have never viewed the situation thus. Still can't😉 Stubborn ..am I?

I wish I could write something like this for Jalal too... to bring out ALL that Jo endured AT Agra and GAVE back to Agra and Jalal. But alas, I can't write to save my life.
