Jodha Begum has been spoken of in glorious terms, about the one and only one able to 'understand' Jalal, 'feel' his pain and 'reach out ' to him when he needs most. Most famous example: Her placing her hand on his shoulder in BB affair.

But this track has clearly shown what she can be if things do not go smoothly for her...if her pride is offended. To her his hurt hardly matters if it is a question of her hurt. For all the eye reading she expects, there is nothing that she can read in his eyes. She places her pride above his pain. How then is she different from Ruqaiya? The question is only wrt Jalal. I know that Ruqs is nasty when it comes to others.

Now she is going to have sense drilled into her by her parents, her family and Shaguni Bhai...all this to make her realise things and being put on the right track. The difference seems that Ruqs doesn't have parents to put her on track when she made mistakes; her parents perished in an attempt to save Jalal, his dad and his empire. And hb...what can she do for Ruqs when she hardly does anything for Jalal!

Sandhya, for Jodha first comes her pride (earlier I didn't have this in list, as Ameris were in list), then comes her family, friends, then HB, SB, Rahim, and Pashu/pakshi also in the same order. Jalal only comes, if he is nyaypriya, listens to her and obeys her order, forgives her dear ones. Honestly, I don't see her love for Jalal at all. She loves or believes that she loves people, only who agrees with her and doesn't tell her that she is wrong.

Ruq- yes she loves Jalal and probably more than herself, but she loves him for his Power😉, no one thinks that, from the time she has got her senses, she has been in power and it is very obvious for her to behave like that, there was no one who told her, what is wrong or right, all her tantrums were accepted and all her orders were followed, but who cares, she is selfish and she was possesive of her husband and tried to frame Jodha, and today if Jodha becomes possesive, everyone will go gaga about her love for him and she feeling jealous is a positive sign, but Ruq is also his wife and she can also think the same and infact, she is behaving the way, normally me, you or anyone who claims to say Jodha is right will behave, but no one agrees to it.

She tried to frame Jodha as she thought that Jodha was genuinely wrong...that she had a link with some Rajwanshi, she didn't know that it was Suja. Even in the Ben track she thought that Jo hurt Jalal by giving him the dhakka and wanted to disprove her. She didn't know that Ben was poisonous.

Of course she was wrong to let Moti face punishment, but she IS nasty to those beneath her, and it was not uncommon in the 16th century royalty. She does hate Jodha...which woman on earth will like a sauten more favoured by her husband. Even Salima agrees to be madly jealous about Rahim's mom.

But she does say, that her nafrat for Jo is not more than her mohabbat for hb...then it will be nothing when compared to her mohabbat for Jalal. It would be interesting if the CVs keep her grey. But if they decide to paint her black, the show will lose its charm completely in its unending heroine glory.🤢

***Yes, Ruq did not try to malign Jodha's character at all, she only framed her for murthi khand which would have made Jalal only angry at Jodha for breaking rules and she would have won the election. I don't disagree that, Ruq's behaviour with people beneath her is uncommon and even Rajvanshi's would behave the same way and very few would treat them nicely, it has got nothing to do with her character, or I say it makes Ruq bad, but here it is about glorifying the heroine and the points I put it across, what many are thinking or expecting, like I said, even if we were in her place, we would have also behaved the same or less like Ruq, probably not plotted (not sure), but who accepts it? And now if Jodha shows signs of Jealousy and gets hurt, if Jalal gives his time to any other Begum, all will blame Jalal for hurting Jodha, but none will think that, in polygamy it is bound to happen, to prove Jodha right, Ruq has to be proven wrong.
